How about getting this video driver issue on TV?

I was wondering if anyone has tried to get this issue on TV? Something like CNN TECH, X-Play, or Attack of the Show. Maybe something a bit more national and mainstream would spark a bigger fire. I think all of the technology websites linking the story are a HUGE help, maybe its time to call in the larger media cannons.

Can we get more threads about this today?

This just in, HTC an electronic gadget creater has pissed off some 13000 nerds with overpriced phones. From our understanding the gadgeteers decided to neglect its customer base by omitting a video driver in it's software package. This missing video driver is responsible for poor renduring of the display and the nerds also accuse it of slowing down the phone and causing crappy camera quality.
Now back to your regurly scheduled program.

It's amazing how all these newcomers with only 1 post ask about the video issue. Makes me wonder if existing members register with a new username and post either to piss others off or ask questions without harming their reputation.

We all need to take a reality check and remember that there is always some arse trying to make a buck off of stuff we put out there for free.
Seems like us chefs need to put some watermarks in our images and throw in Modaco's donate application in our ROMs to make sure we get credit where credit is due.
I'm not too too pissed about it, since I already put it out there and there is no point in trying to stop something that has already been done. However, I'm definitely going to start making changes for existing and/or future ROMs.
BTW, noticed that this eBay auction was already removed. Thanks to Squallion for the PM...

i understand what you mean but maybe the idea is that you pay not for the software but for the flashing and support. then it's not stealing though the guy should give some percentage of the money of course...

Well it just might be that they have certain security features that only allow you in once they have personally approved your registration. Until then, accessing the site through the address that it was directing you to after you hit "Agree" might have registered you as an unapproved member.

Maybe you have a split (evil) personality you don't know about......

Another possible reason is a poorly selected username.

I guess they disabled/banned the guest user due to spamming. I don't blame them. Time to wait for your account to be verified
Never heard of their choice in forum type though.

There are several ways to ban users. One of them is by IP banning, which causes anyone registering with that IP to be either automatically banned or rejected upon registration. The only bad thing about this is that you can ban a lot of innocent people by doing this, and this may have just been the case.

No matter how many times I contact admins, I can't get psn to tell me why my username and email were banned upon registry for my psp 3 yrs ago.
Sucks cause I have an email setup just for psn that I would like to receive updates on the one I use for the rest of my life.

I did some research and assembled known methods into one file. It exploits psneuter as SOC does but, I hope in a better way. I managed to root 10C-E and also 11C like that in less than 20 sec. It works each time without errors. I told you that the key is the order of cmds

In spain, when someone is going to take us a photo, we commonly say "pa-ta-ta" in order to be smileing on the photo without the need to force-smile...
In english, people say "cheese" or "cri-sis" in order to mantain the mouth semi-open and showing the teeth...

Most of us will be aware of these titles if u are regular to hangout @ XDA ;

Yeah you probably might say, who the phuck cares about these damn titles XD. I agree with u too, nothing changes even after we get a custom title.
But whats wrong in getting a little bit of "Recognition" for our works. After-all, why are most of us doin this ? For the sake of money ? nope..
Someone whips-up a cool icon set working for many hours or many bang their heads to solve bugs in ports/cooking roms and some do the impossible like porting cm 9/10/10.1 for our puny little device !
So for what ? Its all just for fun and only fun :angel:
It gives us pleasure and satisfaction to share our creations for free among other users, and why not a little bit of recognition among other users too...so why not a little title to set us apart ? ​
So what are the advantages ?
1. Ad-free browsing. [who the phck cares ? Most of us use add-ons to remove annoying ad's XD]
2. Special Forums
3. Special tools
Dont ask me what the last 2 are, even i dont know.
Our developer/cook/themer base is slowly growing so why not some "Recognition" for people of our phone too ?
Result ? Moderators, news writers, and other xda staff will take our device seriously even though we are a "Legacy Device"..
So what are the prerequisites to become a RC/RT/RD ?
1. Be an active member at XDA for more than 9 months.
2. Help people/beginners
3. Produce great works in development or themeing department.
4. The number of works should be at-least 7 to 10 according to XDA staff.
[Some relaxation might be given if the number of your works are less, but are exceptional.]​
So iff you feel worthy, and deserve the title just leave a comment along with your most recognizable "works" here at XDA. Some of our existing RC/RT/RD members can pass it on to any Senior Moderator or RC/RT Liaison Chiefs..
