I have this Samsung galaxy Note gt-n7000. I rooted it with a new kernel AbyssNote 4.2 that even installed the CWM 5.8. It has the stock ROM 2.3.5 and i wanna update it with an official ROM from Samsung. Will there be any problem or the Official 4.0.4 Rom will just remove the root and the custom kernel?
I will install the official ROM with Odin
With Odin, you will lose root and your custom kernel.

When you flash with odin the root will be lost. After flashing your new 4.0.4 stock rom you can flash a rooted kernel via odin.
just check this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331784 and follow the instructions carefully!

Can someone pls help and give instructions how to flash stock ROM on Lenovo K3 note ?
I bought the phone and it has some modified version of stock 1511 (seems it has some spyware).
Want to flash VIBEUI_V2.5_1521_7.145.1_DEV_K50-T5 from official site but I can only find information on flashing recovery not stock ROM.
This modified ROM doesn't have option to check for updates in android settings so OTA doesn't work.
Hey guys, so a quick question regarding updating my OP3T.
Currently running stock OOS 4.0.3 and would like to update to OOS 4.1.0.
But, is it then possible to go back to OOS 4.0.3 by simply flashing the ROM zip file in stock recovery?
I had lots of problems when I updated to Nougat from Marshmallow, so I just want to be sure that this wont happen again.
Luckily I used the tool provided by XDA member which helped me unbrick my phone.
As usual you guys are aw some,
I look forward to your replies.
Hi guys! Newbie here.
Just want to ask if it is possible to downgrade my tablet that is running on OS 7.0 to Stock rom or on atleast OS 6.0?
The OS 7.0 was updated using OTA and it really drains my battery just want to roll back again on the stock or on the previous version.
Please help.
Thank you so much

To flash the stock ROM, you will need to run ODIN on your PC. I would suggest doing a Google search for ODIN and read the many articles on how to use it.
