I was looking through the menu's on the new 4.2.2 and I cannot find a way to format internal storage. Am I missing something? When I load into twrp there is no option for it there other than USB-OTG which fails any time you try it. Thank you in advance.

Advance in TWRP? Advanced in wipe? Advanced in settings in the rom (not sure if this exists)?

I have just formatted my data all went ok.:good:
Keep in mind that if you format data in TWRP you'll end up with no OS installed. When I did that, I had to push a ROM's zip using ADB over USB to get it running again.
From my side I restart using recovery and use the ADB shell to make rm or rmdir inside the SDCARD folder

Hi,
I have ended up with this sdcard\0 and sdcard\legacy type problem.
How do I wipe the internal storage? I have touchwin recovery but its unclear which option wipes the internal storage so I wiped everything but it didn't work.
Thanks
Wipe data will wipe all the sdcard

I don't have TWRP either, but it should be under advanced and read something like "format /data/media"
I ended up just installing clockwork mod and the wipe worked fine but I have still ended up with sdcard\0 and sdcard\legacy is that normal?
On the plus side I no longer have a copy of everything in both.

You should have /data/media/0 and /data/media/legacy
/sdcard/ is only a symlink to /data/media/0
You should be good.
Hey nexus heads. I'm a little confused over directions after root. Do you wipe everything between roms including internal forcing you to backup each and every time pics etc....I'm not a noob but never had a non external storage phone before. Im used to external sd card options.
External and internal storage are same thing. When they mean wipe, it's just the wipe portion of twrp. Your internal storage never gets wiped unless you tell it to in advanced wipe or if you format userdata in fastboot for encryption / decryption

After switching roms do you have to decrypt each and every time?

No you don't, unless the rom ships with a kernel that has force encrypt.

So yeah, my phone memory turned to 32gb from 128gb after I used the force wipe data from the oneplus3t toolkit can there be a way to fix this?
Boot to twrp recovery and repair filesystem in wipe tab.

Thanks for the reply, tried it and still gives me 32gb of internal storage. Do I need to format/wipe the internal storage or the system?
Fixed bro, changed the file system from f2fs to ext4.
