A good evening to all. I just entered the forum driven more by curiosity in following discussions on Android PX5 car stereo - android 9, which I have recently come into possession of, and immediately I wanted to try the Hal9k mod. ciaoooooooooooo by Ziogelo

Hello Everybody,
First of all, I'm new on the forums, nice to meet you guys! I'm Rémon, proud owner of a 2015 Peugeot 108.
The thing is, the pioneer head unit in my car is based on Linux (ofc.) But the trashy Mirror Link function does not work with my Android phone (Oneplus 5T on the latest LineageOS 15.1). I was wondering if there is a developer who can intergrate Android Auto in to this system so I can connect (And many others) Can use Android Auto on this head unit instead of the crappy Mirror Link function.
I contacted Peugeot about this (@peugeotNL) on Twitter. But they can't give me any information about any update information for these systems.
Link to the cars head unit firmware (it is universal for all the brands): can't post it because i'm under 10 posts. Sry guys.
I hope to hear from you guys.
Edit: Head unit device: Pioneer 86140-0H020
Welcome fellow Dutchie
I know some developers have made some efforts to make a simulated headunit, so it might be possible to do the same, but with a headunit instead.

I think it should be possible to integrate it using the OpenAuto sources by GitHub user f1xpl. What do u mean by: 'but with a headunit instead'? The touch screen headunit in these vehicles is Linux Based

Hi, I am new to this and am looking forward to do some, I guess basic stuff, like rooting a phone and tweaking the Android car head unit.

You came to the right place, welcome to XDA!
I'm a retired Linux programmer. Haven't done any Android programming. Just installed an Android head unit into a new to me 2013 Tacoma. It's a great unit, and does most of what I want. But not everything, so I will have some questions for you Android pros. Cheers, Al
