Hi there.
Long time lurker... first time poster.
I have been running official LineageOS builds on my phones over the past few years and have just gotten confident enough to take the plunge with the early unofficial builds on my Poco X3.

Hey All, I've snooped around here long enough. I thought now after Installing 18.1 hotdogb and failing it was time to join up.

Great you make it, welcome to XDA!
Hi there,
I'm Florian and installed some custom ROMs some years ago with the help of the awesome community. Last week I remembered how much fun it is to mod your phone and stumbled upon XDA again. Finally I made an account to (at least) say thank you for the awesome work.
One of my hero is kyasu for building a lineage OS version for grus devices. You and all this community rocks!
Best
Florian
and hoping to share what I learn.

That's an excellent reason to dive into development! Welcome
My OnePlus 6T has been lasting about 3.5 years now and still going strong
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm not really savvy enough for development, I plan to document "user"-style problems if I figure them out, and make sure I do bug reports. My Moto-G is older than 3.5 years but I have just migrated to a Samsung J5 so it is out of play now. Only because of lack of storage, MSe1969 and accomplices are legends for keeping an LOS 14.1 going for it.
Hi all,
This is my first post in these forums. I've been a computer nerd for 30+ years, and in the last 10 years I've been playing with CyanogenMod/Lineageos on phones and tablets. It's been a while since I've been in a community like this, so I'm keen to be here.
Also, I wanted to thank everyone on these forums, especially those who put in the hard work making and maintaining custom ROMs - thank you!
Cheers all,
Adrian

Hey Adrian welcome aboard!
RomFlashingCarlos here.
I flashed my first CM ROM almost 5 years ago in attempt to revive hardware from 2012 that was abandoned by Samsung.
Now I'm back with the same hardware, but with the latest OS running on it.
I am ever thankful for the dev here that made that possible. Looking at you @html6405
I look forward to being here, maybe I could learn a thing or to about being an android dev.
Welcome to XDA and enjoy the forums vast amounts of information!
Cheers
