Hello there, I'm from India. Would like to learn more about developing drivers, and programs for cross platform applications. Have formal background in a bit in VLSI, and basic C, Matlab and other programming languages but no prior experience in app/program development and memory management etc.
Would like to know where to post relevant questions relating to libraries, driver development and app development, mainly relating to windows 10 (AMD64 and Aarch64), also possibly BSD Operating systems.

Hi,
Although I have not posted here previously I have visited this site for information. It’s been quite useful in regards with flashing and un-bricking my k-jam. Thanks for providing such a useful information portal.
I would like to help out around with projects or anything in general. I am a retired experienced reverse engineer on an x86 platform as well as dabbling in arm on the palm many years ago. Although my previous reversing skill may have been used in black areas (removing completely & emulating DRM systems), I am quite interested in taking up a hobby with the Windows Mobile/Arm area to further the free development and use of these phones.
So if anyone has a project that I could help with please let me know I am more than happy to help.
Welcome to the xda-developers forum, your knowledge and skills will certainly be a very valuable assets and beneficial for the forum and community at large.Plz Read and check out the 'Development And hacking' Forum and post there for any help of your services or see if you can participate in some projects there.
Cheers
Just wondering what language does it use and what programs or builders are available out there?
Wrong place to ask this question
General discussion -> Development and Hacking
Since the TP is a windows mobile phone you can develope in pretty much any dotnet language. There are plenty developers on this forum, some utilized the gsensor in there programs Just search the Development and Hacking section!
Oh sorry Im just new here! And btw thanks. I will try to look there.
I humbly suggest that all Devs who are making apps or games that are NOT device specific move their discussions/threads to the following forums:
XDA Android Applications and Games
Then we can allow much of the clutter on the Dream forum for just Dream specific software.
This forum, since it was the first on this site, is being used by a majority of devs (and, others) to develop/discuss many issues/items NOT specific to the HTC Dream.
I would believe that anyone who created a thread and wished it to be moved could have it done so by making a request to a moderator.
Let me know what you think.
ALSO, there is a general xda forum now for Android Themes:
XDA Android Themes
And, one for Android Software:
XDA Android Software
Hey guys,
I have been an observer on this forum since last 3 years. It has helped me a lot to get me through various issues of multiple phones I've used. And I sincerely thank the entire community for the same.
I own a HTC HD7 now. A WP7. Though there's not much into it right now as everyone awaits the Mango update, it's still getting popular day by day.
We do have a Windows Phone 7 sub-forum here on XDA, but it's mainly developer oriented. Hence, I feel there's a need to make a more consumer oriented forum for the same and that's just what I did.
This is a new forum I launched, exclusively for WP7 users.
I was hoping if any Windows Phone users here will be interested in getting me started with the forums and basic contents to not make it look so empty and hence, attract new visitors.
Do take a note that this is a non-commercial forum and I made this solely for help & support purposes.
And there is no intention to drive people away from this forum. XDA will always be the same huge XDA
So, you may straight away go there and post few helpful things for our new WP7 users. Or get in touch with me via PM or email if you have any suggestions.
Hoping to get positive feedbacks.
Regards,
Jugal
Sorry, no recruiting. Taken from Rule #11:
Encouraging members to participate in forum activities on other phone related sites is prohibited.
