[Q] Problem with internet after installing new rom

After installing new rom
[ROM/KERNEL][GSM] ♫ Overcome ROM v1.3.0 ♫ Overcome Kernel v2.0.1 ♫ 3/17/2011 i dont have internet icon and it doesnt work, but calls, sms and internet by wifi works well. I dont know what to do! Give me some advices please!!!!!!

yes. on previous roms all was working

are you sure the APN settings are the same like was before? sometimes the new rom doesn't come with the APN stock working, and has to be changed according with carrier settings... better reset your settings, configure again, save them and reboot your tab !

yes you was right, thank you!

no problem man, but remember, if you install Market Enabler......you'll have the same problem....during faking the the chosen provider in order to attend to paid application, all APN it will dissapear from settings, and it will work ONLY the internet one; for MMS will stop working. you'll have to reboot your Tab in order to restore again the functionality of APNs

the problem can be solved by buying new simcard, or just take somebodies to see if this will work.

[Q] Can't connect camera

Hi,
Today i noticed a problem on my SGS. I tried to use camera and i tried several times but every time try to use camera, same message appears on screen

Hey come on! Some one please help with this! I just want to know is it hardware fault or due to rom.

Arent you using semaphore x.x.xS version which is dedicated for hugemem config eg. slimroms?

Just normal, not s version

Two option
1. Try clearing gallery app data from settings->app
2. If the above dont work then go to recovery wipe cache wipe dalvik and fix permissions.
It will work...

The problem could be for many reasons - hw or sw.
What change did you make before it stopped working?
If above recommendations don't work:
1) Turn off your phone, take the battery out, and wait for a few seconds, then put it back in and turn it back on -- May fix simple hw glitches
2) Try another camera app, such as fxcamera, camera 360, etc -- To see if its the default camera app
3) Do you have other apps that use the camera? Like mirror or flashlight apps or something? It might be interfearing. Actually it could be other apps interfearing too. I'd make a back-up and start uninstalling suspicious apps.
4) Go back to stock rom, and see if camera works. If yes, then root and re-install custom rom. If no, then take to a repair store? Can't think of anything else.

I don't know what was the issue but i rebooted my phone because it was a bit laggy
and i noticed that the camera works.

I don't think that you can use this feature, which btw is just a modification of the sistemui.odex, which logically will only work on the stock v20x version.
But I think that almost every rom has this feature, I'm currently using the MIUI rom from MIUIAndroid.com and it has this feature build into the rom itself.
I think that AOKP rom has that too - but not sure which version exactly.
And CM, they don't have this build into their default roms. But, I'm not so sure, I may have seen a mod somewhere which enables this exact same thing.

It should show the current speed of whatever you're downloading, whether on Wi-Fi or mobile network.

All is OK except video apps

Yeah, I know that there is another thread in which everything works as you wrote, but I was thinking to myself if this solves the problem of the Internet app not working in the Qslide mode.

[Q] [ROM] FireNote MJ5 Deodex V5 - bluetooth issue

Installed this ROM on slot 1. Absolutely love the quickness and battery life. Only issue I ran into was bluetooth wouldn't pair with my car (phone gave a communication failure). Returned to stock and everything worked great. Really disappointed as I loved everything about this rom. Anyone else experience this?
PS - I would have posted this in the ROM's thread, but I didn't have permission (less than 10 posts)

Yes dude Bluetooth does not work in rom slots...it's not the rom it's due to safestrap...v6 just got posted check it out man

Actually it does. At least my ROM does. I am using my ROM on a ROM slot and tether to my car everyday for Pandora phone calls etc... Its a simple framework edit

Need help for flashlight

Hi, i'm using A7000 nougat ROM, but my flashlight is won't turn on, i try on quick settings flashlight logo is gray not white. When i try on google assistant, it say my phone doesn't have flashlight. In camera my flashlight is working perfectly. Anyone can help me?

Tell me which ROM are you using and did you edit anything before this happened or was this by default in the ROM

1) First tip is always to do a reboot. That usually solves problems which appear suddenly.
2) Change ROM. This should be the last step though, before trying everything else you can think of.
Two things that you must try are :
Reboot,
Camera with flash,
Engineer mode app with flashlight test... If available.
I'd be unavailable from this point in this thread. If you manage to find a solution, please do post here do others can find it too.
Also, please always hit the thanks button for those who try to help
