Hello, since this phone is a PITA to mod, I would like to restart from the scratch, so I need to lock it and unlock it again and proceed.
Question is: how can I lock again the phone? The Xiaomi Unlock tool does not have any lock button, just unlock.
Thank you
Use mi flash tool. Flash latest stock rom with flash all lock option

Hello, I rooted, and installed custom recovery on my 1+3t. And the new update came out. I decided to give it a shot. Long story short. I locked my bootloader. And when I try to boot it up. It shows logo for one second, vibrates, and is stuck in that bootloop. I can get into recovery, and fastboot, but bootloader is locked. Any ideas?
Use recovery unbrick tool.
And don't lock your bootloader when you're going to flash any kind of mod, like Magisk.
You can unlock bootloader if you have activated oem unlock and usb debugging in the developer option. Then you are good to go for custom recovery..
You should never re-lock your bootloader after you flash anything not signed by OnePlus. Your device can never be booted up and only can be fixed if you use the unbrick tool by Qualcomm.

My thoughts exactly.
To the OP, you don't need to lock the bootloader to update this device. And you should never lock the bootloader with mods on the phone (TWRP, root, etc.).
Good rule of thumb, is to read up before doing an update like this. Would have saved you a lot of hardship, as all the info is here on XDA for those that care to search and read.
My device is redmi 4x. I tried to install a custom rom though TWRP recovery but however it started to bootloop. So i flashed the device and forgot to "Do Flash and unlock". After flashing i was unable to add mi account, for that reason I cant unlock the boatloader. And the fingerprint sensor, wifi, bluetooth, hotspot is not working as well and whenever i reboot the phone, it shows " Find device corrupted".
Now please someone help me about unlocking boatloader without mi account or adding the mi account. thanks
Try to flash by edl mode. Look this link
After this flash successful you can unlock it by mi unlock tool older version, see this video

I think you can't bypass unlock bootloader whitout permission, you should re-flash your system
1. Re-flash your Miui ROM using fastboot method, in miflash select clean all (warning all your data will be lost)
2. Boot to system
3. Add you mi account
Here is the complete to use flashing using miflash
Hi, I bought my mi5 almost immediately after the release. I unlocked the bootloader and used the phone for all these years. Very recently while flushing with MI FLASH I accidentally ticked the flash all and lock option.
After that , bootloader is locked and can't add miui account so can't unlock the bootloader. After the boot it shows find storage device corrupted. I tried to flash via edl but deep flash cable/test point isn't taking it to the edl mode.Fastboot is almost un- usable. I was in latest global stable after trying a few tricks managed to flash global developer room.Still can't add the middle account that gonna bound my device to the account so that I can unlock the bootloader.
Any Idea?:crying:
Hi Everyone,
just sharing an experience that happened with a friend of mine while installing his rom, I was personally with him step by step.
he bought Mi11Pro (which is basically same rom to the ultra as everyone knows) and he changed rom from CN to global. Steps of doing it as following:
1- unlock boot loader (after waiting 168 hours) using Mi Unlock tool.
2- Flash global rom using mi flash tool. (and using Flash_all_Lock.bat , he forgot to change it).
3- Turn on device after successful installation and locked boot loader.
4- Device stuck in bootloop. and only able to boot into recovery mode or fastboot.
5- Turn on device into fastboot.
6- Unlock device again using Mi Unlock Tool.
7- Device restart and voalaaaa, working fine with global version rom.
In summery, the device did not go into EDL mode, and we were able to unlock device again. and seriously, device is working just perfect now.
After successfully installing MIUI EU and using it just fine, I then attempted to lock the bootloader as the phone is going back tomorrow for a screen repair. Upon using the command fastboot oem lock in fastboot mode, the bootloader was locked, but I am now in a bootloop returning me to the fastboot screen no matter what I try. WIth my bootloader locked adb does nothing and same with most fastboot commands. Whenever I try to reboot my device regularly or while using any combination of volume buttons, it shows the MIUI boot screen then straight back to fastboot and repeat.
Any help appreciated, thanks.

Strange idea to want lock bootloader for repair a screen. Even if you must send to Xiaomi warrantly center / agreed shop, unlock bootloader do not cancel the warrantly. Only desimlock is forbidden.
You must lock your bootloader only from your native official/legit ROM (EEA or Global or CN, etc), but never from a custom MIUI or AOSP because these roms have need to have bootloader unlocked for working.
For now you must
1- using Mi Unlock and Unlock again your device, like the first time (from waiting unlock period) but you will lose all your data, data partition (internal) is wiped.
2- using MiFlash for flash the lastest MIUI fastboot legit rom from your device (EEA ? Global ? CN ?) and be careful , by default (on the bottom right) app install / erase and lock bootloader, choose install / no lock.
I managed to fix it by using Mi Unlock with my sim in another phone for verification, I was just worried I would be faced with the wait again. Thanks.

No problem, as soon as you have unlock with success your bootloader the first time, you do not have period unlock anymore
