Hi All, successfully loaded Null - however, the damn watch get stuck on the pairing screen after reboot and none of the modern Samsung Wear apps will recognize the thing. Any way around this? Goes anyone have a vintage copy of the Gear Manager APK? I was hoping to revive the watch... any tips? Thank you!
you can skip the pairing window, but that doesnt mean you can do it later, im currently looking into that, but, to skip the pairing window, tap the icon of the watch in the top left corner multiple times until a bluetooth notification pops up, then press and hold the watch icon again until it takes you into the gear

Hey guys, Im manager for a cell phone provider, have a galaxy gear demo on my sales floor hooked up to a Note 3. We had some jerk customer set a Pattern-Lock on our Galaxy Gear and take off. Now we cant unlock it or really use it. Does anyone know if there's a way to master reset this thing or how to get around this. I've searched and searched online but no luck.

Hold your finger on the power button untill you see the galaxy gear logo with "Restarting.." text at the bottom.
On this screen continuously press the power button until you boot into the "recovery screen", you will be presented with a blackscreen with blue text.
On this screen press the power button to navigate the options, highlight the "Recovery" option, while on this option hold the power button for 5 seconds to enter recovery mode.
This will restore the gear to factory defaults.
*NOTE* The video is demonstrating how to get into DOWNLOAD mode, you want to select RECOVERY.
I got a new Samsung Gear Live. It shows on my phone that it is paired, then it goes to the downloading phase that i'm sure all of you that have a android wear device are familiar with. Then it just keeps showing "Something went wrong. Try again?" I keep clicking yes, then it keeps bringing back that message. Same thing goes for when I hold the power button, then restore factory settings.
1) Tried on two devices
2) Re-installed my phone, and device many times
Im having no luck, please give me any advice or tips to make this work, the watch is not functional at all. Has anyone else had this problem.
Up sync watch from phone bluetooth list.
Go to android wear app and go to 3 dots top right corner. Follow steps to sync watch to phone. When you are in the screen w bluetooth logo, you have to touch the logo or the word/menu on the display to have it search and pair phone w watch. Make sure when they sync that the bluetooth codes, match on the phone and watch when you hit ok.
Report back if no luck.

Hello folks,
I have a Gear 2 Neo that I had connected to my Galaxy S5 until recently. I got an S8 and wanted to sync my watch to this phone. I downloaded the Gear app on my new phone, but it suggested that since I could not see my watch, that I factory reset it in order to disconnect fully from my old app.
I went into the options on the watch, and did a factory reset. I get the Gear 2 Neo logo, I get the colorful Samsung logo, after this it will boot to a black screen. When I plug the watch in, I get a bluetooth icon and battery icon showing current charge.
I am able to hold down the power button and reboot. I am able to get into download mode, or attempt another wipe.
I have tried connecting via Odin v3.09/3.12 but it does not recognize the device is connected, and Kies does not seem to understand my model number. Without these two options I am a bit stuck. I tried creating an account on sammobile for firmware, but can never download due to some weird login loop. I am familiar with root, Odin, etc. but I am stumped.
Can someone provide me some direction?
Thanks a million.
Have my 7 plus exactly a week.

I've connected my phone to my car system with bluetooth but everytime when I start the car the phone is connected to the car system by bluetooth but after 2 min de BT connection is lost when I look at my screen of the phone I see that Bluetooth icon is still connected but it isn't. I already forget the BT connection in the phone and in the car and reconnect but problem remains. In the manual of the car audio system they refer to change the bluetooth settings of the phone where you need to set keep connections always. But when I search for that in the phone I can't find that option.
Does somebody know how to fix it?
I experience the same problem. I have this problem since the latest update.
I recently got Bluetooth headphones and found that playback easily got choppy if a part of my body was in between my headset and phone, or if the phone got locked. I did find a solution to this however, and not sure if it would work for anyone that has Bluetooth issues as well.
It seems as if Bluetooth has its own app on Android 8.1, and due to this, it's getting managed by Doze or the automatic app power saving that's on by default. I switched off battery management using the following steps:
1. Go to Settings
2. Apps & Notifications
3. Tap on the option that says "See all x apps"
4. Tap on the top right hand 3 dots.
5. Tap on "Show system"
6. Scroll down until you find "Bluetooth" and tap on it
7. Tap on Battery
8. Tap on Battery Optimisation
9. Press the blue dropdown that should say "Not optimised", and select "All apps"
10. Find Bluetooth again, tap on it.
11. Optimise should be ticked, tick "Don't Optimise" instead, then press Done.

I've had the same problem after the Januari update of Pie.
Could not find any BT device anymore.
Tried everything that I could find on the internet, without factory reset.
Then I came across the Bluetooth Discovery app in the playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manjul.bluetoothsdp
With the motto: It's already broken, so what the heck, just installed it, opened it and .... there were the BT devices that were not visible from the BT settings in Android itself.
Connected to my car stereo and .... voila. Music streaming and phoning working again
I have been in contact with Nokia and they have said to try this
In the meantime, we can suggest you a workaround in order to sort it out:
1.
- Please go to settings > network and internet > 3 dots on the top > reset network preferences. Keep in mind that this will erase all the Wi Fi passwords.
- After that, please do a Soft reset: Press the Power button and Volume UP button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, release them when you feel the phone vibrate and you see "Powered by Android" on the screen.
2. Check in safe mode:
- Press and hold the Power button.
- In the window that will appear on the screen, select and hold the "Power off" option.
- It will appear a new window called "Safe Mode". Then, press OK.
The device will restart in safe mode. An inscription about this will appear at the bottom left of the screen. After going into safe mode, use the device as usual. Check if the problem has disappeared. Remember that only preinstalled applications are available to you. If you want to go back to the normal mode, you just need to restart the device.
