To install first download:
Nfsshift.apk (search this forums ) you will need this 2 times
astrologie filemanager ( search in android market)
*Now use astro to find the. Apk
*Browse to the. Apk go to folder assests and delete all. Mp3 and the big data file. ( res.dz )
*Now the. Apk should be around 1mb.
*Now use astro to install the nfs.apk

Extract S Memo Audio

Is there anyway to extract the recording files from the S Memo app?
I wanted to amplify them using some audio editing software because they aren't loud enough.
Look in the Application/SMemo/sound folder. Might be interesting.
Sent from my superior GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
yes. you will find the sound file in .amr format inside the following folder
Code:
/sdcard/Application/SMemo/sound
Necro for good info
Just putting this here for the future, anyone who is looking for a method to extract the audio from a .memo file. Share it to a PC, use 7zip to extract the archive, under media, find the proper sized file and add the .mp3 extension and you will have playable audio without any hassle. Good luck.

Add boot sound to Google Edition ROM?

Anyone know how to add a boot sound to a Google Edition ROM? I'm sure the file has to have a certain name, and be placed in the customize folder somewhere, but I've placed my file called PowerOn.ogg in both System/Media/Audio/UI and System/Customize and nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Place your audio file in System/Customize/resource. It should be the only audio file in the folder. Also, I'm not sure an .ogg file will work, best to make sure it's either .wav or .mp3 just to be sure. -Mike

Thanks. There's no resource folder in Customize, so I'll just make one and give it a shot.
Nope, nada.

How do I extract ringtones from a Nokia Lumia phone or ROM?

I've got a Lumia 620 on the crappy aio/cricket carrier that won't update past Amber. I do like a couple of the aio ringtones that I'd like to extract before I flash to one of the EU CV ROMs. I've got the phone with the aio Amber firmware installed as well as the aio Amber ROM from the Nokia Software Suite.
If the ringtones are stored in or under the C:\Windows directory, you can extract them with my webserver app. If not, your odds aren't good since you don't have interop-unlock. You could extract them using JTAG, but that's expensive and tricky.

I presume the webserver app is the one linked I your sig?
I got the webserver app installed and can browse the files under C:\Windows. Now, does anyone have any idea where the ringtones may be stored? Is there any way to search via this webapp file browser?

You can also dump a rom and see on "C:\Programs\CommonFiles\Sounds".
Open the .wma and .wva with VLC or WMP.

How to share files between the remixos player and host pc?

Is there any way to share files between host pc and remixos player?
You could drag a file from your host pc to remix player, if it is an APK file , remix player will install it. If it is other file, it is be saved into internal sd card.

ADB is android debug bridge. ADB works for android devices, but how can the emulator find the host PC on the local area network?
I too tried to find a way for transfer from player to host while testing the soft, but I now personally gave up and don't care anymore. Just use something as google drive to have a common place where to place shared files (even if this means no local and need for internet) and why not synchronization (even if this means duplicates ...).
Google play not useful

Internet is slow where I live. 10 to 50 kb/s. So I can't use google play. I need a local hack.

Remix plaer
Hi all,
I installed RemixOSPlayerPackage-B2016111403 on Windows 7 x64 and have some .apk files on my Windows machine. How to copy them to the Remix OS Player machine for testing those files?
I tried drag and dropping, but it didn't work.
Is there any good way except for upload and downloading the files?
Thanks.
