Which rom b/w these would provide best battery backup? no heavy usage just for social media, YouTube etc for 8-10 Hours a Day
for me I had 9%/hr active 3% idle on elixir, and 6% active 1.5% idle arrow
Related
left with 20% from full battery
8h 50m since unplugged
display 60%
cell standby 10%
media server 6%
android os 6%
phone idle 5%
android system 5%
advance task killer 2%
android core apps 2%
i on-ed the wifi the whole day running on facebook aps and e-buddy
played games for a while on music for a while
forgot to mention about 200 messages too
so is my battery good? i just been through the recharge cycle for about 4 times should i go through this cycle more or should i just stop?
I would suggest installing JuiceDefender, ups my battery to about 25 hours of high usage.
You can try calibrating your battery:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755903
You didn't mention your display runtime, this is imperative to evaluating your battery. Also, do not let advanced task killer run in the background. Its process requires much more than 2% of the battery, the reason for it is
it raises your:
standby time
phone idle
increases:
processor runtime
partial wake use
android os
It will kill processes, then Android says 'hey, there is spare memory, let me start up a new process to quickload next time it's opened." This cycle repeats itself when ATK rekills a process.
It's ok to keep ATK, and if you need to run it, use it manually. Don't leave it running in the background, especially when you are not using your phone!
Got a z3c a week back (precisely), and just want an opinion if my battery life seems good as per the general reputation of the phones battery life around here.... responses would be appreciated
my power management shows i have estimated battery time of 13 hours (1 day 7 hrs on standby) at 20% battery remaining. My battery usage has been 2d,4h,35 mins with screen at 28%, cell standby at 19% and 14%, calls at 12% android os and system at 7% and 6% respectively, and wifi n fb at 4% and 2%. I mostly use my phone for mails, fb, whatsapp and surfing, and random time checking once in a while on the phone. I barely have any kind of apps on it, except the default sony bloatware, fb, whatsapp and two odd more.. mobile data is on about 80% of the time whereas my overnight drain of 2% is without any data or wifi active. Location is always off, and wifi is on merely about 5-10% of the time.
TIA!

I'd say it's actually more about using the "Search" function.
Guess we already have a dozen threads about this topic.

Your experience with this ROM ? How about SOT ?
it shows 65h 30m, but this is totally unusefull
battery drain depends on phone usage, not at some "calculated" numbers
i have got xperience rom v6 witch amplify (donated) + greenify (donated) + wakelock detector.
At 9.00 a.m. i unpluged the phone from charger and now, at 8.00 p.m i´ve got still 100%.
after 3 days since plug-off still have 51% battery with this usage: few sms per day, few calls, few emails, using chrome 5-15 minutes per day (using wifi, lte not mutch)
I have LineageOS 14.1 and SOT under 5-6 hours isn't possible with heavy use so switch quickly to it
I have the following issue - even when I am using the phone moderately (around 1 hour SOT) throughout the day, my battery drops from 100% to 30% in less than 12 hours. The only thing for sure is that no user apps are draining the battery but the drain comes from Android System. Android stats show that for this period 1h20m SOT has eaten 10% battery while at the same time Android System has eaten 31%!
Installed BetterBatteryStats to discover the following figures for 10 hours use throughout the day: 6h Deep Sleep, more than 1h Screen On and more than 2 hours Awake (Screen Off). So the question is what the heck has been happening during those 2 Awake hours when the phone has been in my pocket? I am attaching some stats for your reference.
PS At night time, when I leave the phone 100% charged with AOD on, the next morning it has 90% charge (I think that normally AOD eats around 1% per hour).
Hey, does any1 has reached 2 days of battery with normal usage ?
I mean i twinkered the phone to not have all the bull**** in the background working, processes that check the motion sensors, battery, internet, screen touch, sync data, etc. all the customizable things off/denied/unistalled, the 120hz is on and the battery setting that puts the phone on battery saving at night, with all of these i berly get 2 days normal usage on the phone, and 1 day and few hours if play some games 2-3 hours of games, you guys have the same stats of battery usage ?
Hi @pewpewze there has already been a thread about this in Real Life Review i have put a direct link below where people have posted screenshots of screen on time drain and battery life battery life;
