Settings>Apps> Clear data+cache(I myself would uninstall updates just in case) of google play store & google services framework and force close them both. should help.

It hasn't work.
I have to flash the stock, odexed ROM?

You can't install on card. Feature of all new JB phones.

This is a ROM issue flash different one or inform the rom chef about the issue so he could fix it.
It's some incorrect permission errors that's causing it.

Was this issue fixed? I'm experiencing the same problem using LewaOS5. Other apps install fine, but only XDA app is giving problems.
EDIT: Stepped away from LewaOs, problem is gone...

Dual SIM model. I did the hack to use 2 SIM cards + SD card, now the SD card is not r

I thought I was gonna ruin the hacked SIM card but both work normally. But the micro sd card is not recognized by the phone.
Has anyone has the three chips working at the same time. Is there a fix?

hi there was using too my two sim plus mem card on my note 8 but when i updated it to android pie "sim card tray slot problem" is what the phone displays........any solutions?

Unfortunately Samsung has patched this feature as they don't want people to being doing this on their Dual SIM Devices.

also happened to me. I guess we need to revert back to previous version. damn samsung upgrade!

N950FXXS5CSA4 are at sammobile.com / firmwares / . just search for SM-N950F model.
I also had that issue and did downgrade back to oreo.
BUT! backup all your data first!!!

I tried to install MIUI V12.0.1.0.QFAEUXM but is not possible (check screenshot below)
I don't want to use MiFlash and lose all my data

I believe that for something like that You need unlocked bootloader and flash Fastboot version of the ROM, not Recovery or OTA version.

This mi9 is not my personal phone (company phone) so I can't unlock the bootloader or install ROM's
Due to my job I use the phone outside and the automatic brightness is crazy sometimes
With previous MIUI version all was good

Then all you can do is wait for the next version while hoping the issue has been fixed, of course you should report it as well using the feedback app. There's a chance that you're the only one experiencing the issue or there could be more but none reports it, hence the developers have no idea it happens.

Then maybe just try to reset (erase cache and user data) Settings.apk?! Maybe this will help You and by this procedure Your personal data on this phone is not in any kind of a danger.

Question Cannot use sd card as portable storage on pixel experience rom for redmi note 10 pro.

I recently installed PE rom on my redmi note 10 pro but I have encountered an issue where my phone cannot use the sd card as portable storage even after formatting multiple times. I keep getting the message "corrupted" in the storage settings. The sd card worked perfectly on other devices.
How do I solve this?

contacted the core dev on telegram. He called it strange and said that he did not know about it. Can you suggest any alternative to pixel experience?

Instead of creating new thread, try asking the questions in related ROM thread. Will be more beneficial and less headache for mods.

interesting... I’ve seen a lot of people struggling with this problem. try the PixelPlus UI rom to see if this problem does not occur there.

Somehow for me, this is not an issue, after the setup, there was an SD Card notification to either setup SD Card as internal storage or Portable, I had selected Portable thereafter I could see it as SD Card.

256 GB SD didn't work for me. But Tip from PE thread (install epsilon kernel) fixed it.

Question Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G does not work with NFC if it is running MIUI Global.

I updated my smartphone to MIUI Global just to have access to NFC technology, the android detects the feature but when registering the card the google wallet returns a message that the phone does not meet the security requirements.

Is the bootloader unlocked?

Smartphone came with the original china rom with the bootloader unlocked, I already updated to MIUI INDIA, but as we know it does not support NFC, as soon as the global MIUI came out I opted for the update in the hope of NFC working, it appears however when registering the card it returns that error.
Note: Smartphone does not have ROOT access.

But if I block the bootloader, will I have to stay in the device's original ROM, which is China?

Technically not, but for your problem, the phone is considered not to have all the required security.
Root+Magisk+zygisk+safetynet module are undetectable, moreover all rom users other than CN, use this method to have a certified device.

If you have a Global version phone (model 22101316G) you can install any stock rom (except CN) and lock the bootloader.
EDIT:
All models( 22101316G, 22101316I, 22101316C) of this phone support NFC, but with an unlocked bootloader, the addition of payment cards is refused for security reasons.
