We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

Requirements
Make sure you are running the stable Latest EEA (12.0.2) of China (12.0.4 or later) rom before flashing the ROM.
If this the first time you are installing a custom ROM, make sure to flash vbmeta images using the following command:

First of all, many thanks for your work. The first thing I noticed after the installation was the camera application does not start. Cleaning app data doesn't help. Does anyone have any idea ?? I also tried GCAM but without success.

- Fixed bass heavy speaker
- Implemented "dynamic" refreshrate. System will switch to 60Hz if the screen isn't being touched for example while reading, watching video etc. As soon as you touch the screen, it ramps up to 90Hz.
- Added missing hotspot
- Some performance improvements

For who want to try out, now Bliss 14 avaliable (Android 11). You can dirty flash, but reccomended clean flash.
Bliss 14 has gapps installed, so no need to install Gapps.
Bugs: SafetyNet fails, Screen Mirroring, SElinux permissive, VoWiFi, fingerprint on apps

- Android 11 update (Bliss is optimizing their base, don't expect their features now, it's like LOS with GApps, so no face unlock, no tweaks... )

I recently tried RR but Urnyx05 GCAM crashed as soon as I selected macro. ANX was incredibly slow and most pictures were lost.

I have for testing right now Lineage 17.1from here and GCam Burial 7.3 v b8 working to my suprise without bugs and size and quality of pictures are same like this camera on miui rom.

Urnyx here works without any issue, Burial tested and works without problems. ANX only I tested 185, but it's buggy (Portrait broken, changing lenses also broken on Pro mode, macro and wide angle lenses broken)

I tried today, and the best version you can install is ANX 185 with 48MP fix. With this, all modes works, only thing is shooting in photo mode with normal lens, needed to have HDR on

I have the same camera apps working well... under RR 8.6.4 on my Raphael (Mi 9T Pro). But it was not stable enough on the Mi Note 10. After the Urnyx05 crash on macro, I had to clear data to make it work again. It seems the best ROM was xiaomi.eu 20.9.17 for those apps.

That's strange, using default urnyx XML worked for me on macro lens... I don't have this issue.

Widevine will be L3 once u unlock ur bootloader. It doesn't depend on rom for our Realme 5 Pro. Only on rui with locked bootloader u get L1.
Regarding battery backup, it should be good as is always with Pex.

Bro I clearly mentioned that for our Realme 5pro, v can't get L1 with unlocked bootloader. Redmi and other devices have L1 even with custom roms, but not our device.

I just clean flashed this rom with magisk 23 and at first boot already shown some system app crashing. After a day of usage the ui is quite suggish and system ui keeps crashing at random times, daily a few times, I don't know why. Any idea? Thanks!

Nah. I need Magisk hide for now. I cannot use 24.1 since zygote because I use lsposed for disable flag secure. I migrated to Pixel Experience a12 release and it is working well with Magisk 23 without crashes and so on.

I am not sure if it is only u or others too facing this. In Realme 5 pro global community of close to 2.5 K users, none has reported this issue so far.

I don't know. I forgot to mention that I'm a Realme Q user which is nearly identical to Realme 5 Pro. The pressure is on nearly since it has different system and vendor size partition as well as a different antenna module since it was produced for China market. Nevertheless after clean wiping and flashing a custom rom the system and vendor files should be the exact same as on a Realme 5 Pro. I doubt that caused the issue. Probably it was magisk 23 instead of 24.1? Here is what I done so it might be easier to identify the origin of the issue:
-Clean wipe everything except of External SD card
-Format data
-Reboot to recovery
-Flash the rom.zip file
-Flash Magisk 23
-Reboot
-Error about system ui crashing on startup
My main issue though wasn't the daily 2-3 times system ui crashed but the unpredictable performance. Sometimes very sluggish, sometimes fast but not stable. After a day of usage I migrated to Pixel Experience release by Balbus with pretty much the same clean wipe and flash + Magisk 23 method. There was no such issue anymore. So... I don't know. Could the the rom doesn't like Magisk 23. Could be that I've Realme Q, not Realme 5 Pro. I've no idea.

Got it now man. Since u r a Realme Q user, u facing this.
PE By Bablus has been tested and is suitable for Realme Q.
Not all roms are same.
so better stick to PE as of now.
I cant guarantee if in future, support for Realme Q is possible for ur device.

Clean flash is Must when moving from A11 to A12

Hi,
Am I the only one who didn't find call recording option in this ROM. The ROM is working so smooth but I'm missing call recording option with it.
Please help me with any alternate to get this option. I haven't rooted it till now.

no, and it will never work on C25y

cannot install any rom on my realme c25s. Failed to detect device in fastboot mode. How can I fix this?

Are you using this ROM on realme c25s? How is this ROM performing? Any issues? How is it's performance compared to realme UI? What about camera quality?

Yes, used PE. Now updated to RUI 3.0, so stuck with RUI.
Found micro lags in both RUI3 and riceDroid (official), but PE was so smooth. I will be very happy if OP ports PE for RUI 3 again.

How did you return back to RUI after installing custom ROMs? Where can I download and how can I install Realme C25s stock RUI ROM if I decide to go back after playing with custom ROMs?

There's no MIUI cam ported from camellian, so I'd bet there isnt.
In my opinion and in my use, a GCAM port had better quality than the 48mp len itself, with true colors, and overall it could shoot lot of more details being sharper and less blurry. However, that was roughly 1 year ago or so... What I can remember is that I took it off from a YouTube video, maybe its still there and I could link it to you if you are interested. P.S. remember that each GCAM port can depend from its version, and heavily depend from the XML you choose to import.

I found a bug, I wanted to check something in miui 13 after installing miui 13 via fastboot I started configuring the device after a while it suddenly started to restart.

Really good ROM, I noticed that it supports fast charging also. At least it says "charging rapidly" on the lockscreen. I'm using the original charger for the device (camellian). Refresh rate also working perfectly and no issues with playback or safetynet.

it's really in the boot.img that the dev posted. flash the bootimg and boot into recovery
