Phone resets itself after about 30 seconds from turning on - Xiaomi Redmi 4X Questions & Answers

The phone resets itself after about 30 seconds from turning on and so on, over and over, again. I'm not able to enable developer options etc, so I can't unlock the bootloader.
When I turn on the fastboot mode, the phone doesn't turn off, but what doss it give me in such a situation?
What can I do to get data from my phone?
Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader so I can install TWRP or something else to get the data from the phone?

[Q] Help! Trying to troubleshoot and hopefully solve problems with HTC One.

Hey guys, could anyone shed some light on what's wrong with my phone?
The initial problem was that it would display a notice that the phone was going to restart, the phone would turn off but not reboot.
When trying to turn the phone on immediately afterwards, it wouldn't turn on. The first thing I tried was seeing if that battery was dead but even when I plugged it in, it still wouldn't turn on nor was the charging light on.
After leaving it for a while, I tried a hard reset but the phone would turn off after 2 seconds in the boot menu. After a few hours and a lot of expended patience, I got the hard reset done and it worked flawlessly for around 30 minutes then turned off again.
Right now, when I turn it on, it shows the HTC screen, the backlight for the icons at the bottom flashes around 10 times and it turns off.
Any idea what's wrong?

Kinda sounds like your power button may be sticking in. Is the device bootloader unlocked and rooted? Or still stock?

The phone has been unlocked to be used with SIMs other than from AT&T but it hasn't been bootloader unlocked or rooted.

Ok I would recommend you check warranty to see if it is still covered. To try a software solution will mean unlocking the bootloader which will void warranty. And may not fix the problem. As I say it seems like the power button is stuck in.
When the capacitive buttons flash like that it is because of a forced reboot by holding in the power button.

Screen won't turn on after 0% battery shutdown

So I sideloaded 5.1 and was fine all day long. Was down to 8% then I notoced the 1% warning 30 seconds later. It shut down before I could plug it in. I booted up and everything seemed normal but the screen wouldn't turn on after the boot screen. I could take a screenshot and power it off but that's it. After a few times cycling it, It started going into the boot as it did when I first installed the update. Optimizing apps, I figured that would fix the problem but sa,e black screen. I tried booting into recovery mode. It just shut it down when I chose that option. I can see the time and unlock screen when I wave my hand over it. Unlocking it does nothing. I get red LED when I hit the power button one time.
I ended up doing a system wipe and it's back to normal now. I'd still like to know the solution in case it happens again.
If it happens again try first to reboot by holding power and volume down buttons for 10 seconds and/or wipe cash
I am having the exact same issue. Has anybody had a luck resolving it short of a factory reset?
My phone battery died last night. I plugged my phone in, let it get about 15% charge, then tried to turn it back on. The phone boots like normal, but after the boot animation goes away, the screen is black. Active notifications still seem to work, and I can hold the power button to get the Power Down option. I can boot into the bootloader & access recovery just fine. However, my phone is fully stock (no root, no bootloader unlock, no anything). I can't seem to access ADB when the phone is powered normally (ie, when I'm at this mysterious black screen), but it's possible that USB debugging isn't even enabled.
So far, I've found a bunch people who've said a full factory reset will fix the problem, but I'm looking for another solution, or at least a way to grab my data before I reset. Since my bootloader's still locked, I can't seem to use fastboot boot to boot into TWRP, and I can't find any other way to access my data to copy it off the phone. I've tried wiping the cache using the stock recovery to no avail. Any suggestions?

Please stop bumping up every topic that says black screen with the same copy and paste message. Once was enough!

No Cell service, unless I select 'BP tools' from fastboot and reboot

I received the phone 'Used, like new' today, wrestled with straight talk, troubleshot my issue of an empty cell signal thingy (on the status bar) and finally came across a forum for motorola phones with a quick fix for this... If I reboot into fastboot, select 'BP tools' the phone reboots and back to android, I have cell service! UNTIL the next power cycle.
This is weird... is there a remedy? Should i return/exchange the phone? Would TWRP resolve this? (I'm totally stock)
Thanks guys!
Is the bootloader unlocked?
Tried factory reset?
It seems the carrier id is deleted......
Just Reboot
Just restart your phone or keep pressed the power for 20 sec it will automatically reboot in normal mode
Ahhh, you're right! Is there another way to push a carrier id to it? I can hard reset again..... But I just finished installing my apps and restoring backups : / .
The bootloader is locked.
#same
Did you ever figure out how to get it out of whatever mode this is? It just alternates every restart of there being being nothing listed under Baseband on the FB screen, my notification light staying on, and no service to working perfectly normal. On a XT1965-T.

Strange battery problem (Xiaomi mi a2)

Hello,
I am facing a strange problem with xiaomi's battery. Sometimes the device turns off without warning. After shut down it starts up normally but cannot enter the Android system, when I insert the unlock pattern it tries to boot (only wallpaper showing) for 2-3 seconds and then shuts down again. The only way to avoid this state is to plug the charger and let it charge for several minutes. After this all are working properly. Any ideas??
I forgot to mention that if I don't enter the unlock pattern(try to enter Android system) the device will remain open.

Well, that's a mistery. Did you try to do factory reset?

Huh.. yuck. That's weird. Try resetting your phone. If it still doesn't work, it's probably the battery?.
I haven't tried factory reset yet. I think that is something more software oriented because it occurs when the device tries to load Android system. Something like an application bug. Probably factory reset will do the job. I'll let you know.

Samsuns S10 (G973F) "Phone is starting..." loop

Hello,
My device (S10, SM-G973F, Q - Android 10, v. 20200203, TWRP recovery) is Magics rooted and was working fine till last night. After phone went off to battery drain, i put it in charger, but this time forgot to hold down combination of three buttons to boot rooted (I thing for the first time since my root I forgot that) - so phone started "without root activated". So I've restarted phone holding right buttons this time, but phone cannot get through screen unlock. I put in my SIM PIN, then, on the "Screen unlock" screen, when I enter right key, phone immediately locks itself. So I enter Screen unlock key again... And it locks again. And that is infinite loop.
So I decided to restart phone "without root activated" and here I got through. My thought was, if there is problem with Screen unlock, lets turn it off, right? Well, after I turned off Screen lock and restarted phone "with root activated". And now it doesn't even offer me to enter SIM PIN! After Samsung logo is "loaded" my wallpaper appears with "Phone is starting..." loading bar and after two seconds there is Samsung logo again and "Phone is starting..." - a loop. It eventually keeps looping for couple of minutes, then phone reboots itself.
Still, I can boot without root.
Any ideas on what is going on? Shouldn't it help to alter some Samsung security APK file in TWRP or so? Cache wiped, no effect.
I just don't want to go through reinstalling whole phone.
