if you flash OSS rom you don't need nothing (vendor is included)
if you flash MIU vendor ROM and you was in OSS, you need flash VENDOR MIUI..
VENDOR MIUI is included in firmware

What is OSS?

I edited file update-script to skip checking version of current installed vendor. So that i can flash EvoX without installing MIUI12 vendor.
I have been living with this issue for quite sometime now. Tried various things. I found out that newer Miui 12 roms fp will not work. Some dont even boot for me. Im using aosp roms though. But they also have problems like oss vendor roms fingerprint only work on high brightness and newer miui 12 vendors will have problem in fp even in aosp roms as well. I have got 12.0.0.9 vendor working for my device which is an Indian variant. So what i do is first flash latest rom+vendor and then after that i flash this 12.0.0.9 vendor on top of it and the fp works flawlessly.

Simpliest way is
1. Usinf custom recovery to install miui 11 vendor then back up vendor partition.
2. Install EvoX with miui12 vendor
3. Restore backed up vendor that you made in step 1
4. Boot to system, create password and register fingerprint

Vendor https://downloads.akhilnarang.dev/MIUI/raphael/
Edit the update-script in the rom you want to install. The path is ROM.zip\META-INF\com\google\android
Delete the lines where there is the vendor check (they are at the beginning of the file)
Flash vendor.
Flash rom

Still no success. I performed all the steps, installed two vendors (V11.0.4 QFKMIXM and V11.0.6 QFKEUXM), the installation was successful, both for the vendor and the rom, but when starting the smarthphone, the boot image (Mi) flashes , and returns to twrp. What can I be doing wrong?

You must use the correct vendor for your region, not a random one.

My region is Global, with vendor QFKMIXM. Before upgrading to miui 12, the fingerprint sensor worked correctly with version 11.0.4QFKMIXM, however I tested the procedure with all variants on android 10 QFKMIXM, without success.
the digital sensor stopped working with version 12.0.1 QFKMIXM.

Yeah now i don't know but there should be some modifications needed to boot gsi on this phone or maybe an older vendor might be required i am not sure but i have never tried booting gsi with miui vendors only v12 vendors and oss vendor probably will never boot any gsi directly
you need android 11 vendor from MIUI 12.5. Android 10 vendor are borked that you can't use it for booting GSI ROMs. Just download MIUI 12.5 recovery ROM and delete everything except vendor.

This is confusing, because there is an EEA version of the official Miui rom and there is an Xiaomi.eu rom
The first you find here
The second there

I would recommend Xiaomi.eu in case of less spying and less bloatware apps.

Some custom ROMs use something called AOSP vendor (LTS), not based on the Xiaomi vendor, while others use from the Xiaomi, I didn't check this ROM, some developers make files apart for every partition (like the Xiaomi.eu recovery ROMs) but some, just integrate them where it has to reside, you can see inside the zip, if it's apart, you may find it, if it's integrated, then you have to decompile it, Linux has good tools to do that.
By the way, for what you need it?

Question NFC wont turn on

Hello im new here, like i Said NFC wont work i use Custom Rom Google experience
Model Redmi note 11 nfc
Root magisk
Recovery twrp
What should i do ?
Have you tried flashing spesn firmware ?
Try to load up a stock TW rom configuration, enable NFC, then switch over to an AOSP ROM. This should get NFC to cooperate on your AOSP setup.

First of all, blue highlighted words are clickable, saying I already linked it for you. And yes, spes roms are spesn compatible and also the firmwares. But spes firmware lacks of nfc driver stuff and sometimes the roms too. In these cases nfc can be fixed with the device corresponding firmware package. So here again the - more obvious - way to the spesn firmware hub: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/spesn/ . Cheers

Just download the corresponding firmware and flash it via recovery (aosp, twrp, ...). That's it. And in a case of fresh install you can flash it after rebooting the recovery. Flashing a firmware can be done at anytime while having a running system.
