You can find information in Oneplus warranty site Cannot link it here because I have limitations on linking in XDA
So basically, if you **** up your device while unlocking bootloader or rooting, OnePlus might not guarantee warranty but if your device breaks for other reason, it should not matter whether your bootloader is unlocked or not.
Google "OnePlus warranty" and the first result is
"The technical process of rooting or unlocking the bootloader does not void the warranty of a OnePlus device. However, we strongly suggest for you to only root or unlock the bootloader of your OnePlus device if you are confident in your understanding of the risks involved."

I have a serval question about unlocking Mi A2 Bootloader
1. Do unlock bootloader void xiaomi's hardware warranty?
I have heard that xiaomi still have hardware warranty even you unlock bootloader is that true?
2. Do unlock bootloader have permanent message on screen while boot even I relock bootloader?
my previous device Moto M have message bootloader has been unlocked while boot, and this message won't disappear even I relock bootloader.
3. To unlock Mi A2, just fastboot oem unlock is it enough?
I have heard that xiaomi need to wait 15 days to get a special tool from xiaomi to unlock bootloader. but in XDA post look like fastboot oem unlock is enough. it so weird...
Thank you for your answer.

1. No, you will not void warranty
2. When you unlock bootloader you will have message on your screen, after you lock it again, there is no message, everything is like stock.
3. fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock_critical those two commands are enough
If you have xiaomi phone with miui, than you need to wait for unlock approval, around 72 hours, maybe less maybe more, it depends... When you have android one device, you do not need to wait, you can unlock your phone instantly.

I know this may be a stupid question but I'm looking to unlock the bootloader of my mi 8 global variant because I want to try a few different custom ROMs but I don't know if I will be able to relock the bootloader if I want to go back to the original Xiaomi firmware?
Any help will be appreciated
I heard flash back will brick the phone
Unlock china version and re-lock with global/xiaomi.eu/custom bricks the phone.
Yeah you should be fine to relock if it's a global device.
But I think you'll also have to wait another 360h or more to unlock it again
Global Version can relock!
Global Rom bricked the Device if you Relock it!
Must i wait if i would lock a relocked Global Version? Or can I use the Mi Account instead?
Hello,
i have a mi9 with with EEA rom 10.2.27.0 PFAEUXM but battery is verry poor. I want to unlock the bootloader and go with xiaomieu rom or Global stable and i want to know if this void warranty or i can relock the bootloader.
Thanks.
I currently have OP7P, I'm planning to buy either S22 ultra or upcoming OP10P, I got to know in samsung once bootloader is unlocked it break Knox and that is irreversible, and they say it will be hard to get warranty even if later I lock bootloader and unroot stock rom.
In my OP7P after I flash stock rom with msm there is no visible sign if bootloader was ever unlocked, is it same with oneplus 9 and 10? And is it correct that service center will be able to find that it was earlier unlocked and they can refuse warranty?
OnePlus doesn't usually care if your bootloader is unlocked for service....
