I have TWRP 2.8.7.1
And i would like to install the new 3.0.2.0
How do i update it the easiest and safest way?
I have Nexus root toolkit 2.1.6
Also a side question, how do i know if my bootloader is still unlocked?
I have a custom rom and the phone is rooted, could the bootloader lock and i need to unlock it again?

All is in the title. Oh I forgot, I think I'm on a weird rom/firmware, because Bluetooth is no longer working, speakers are weird and some stock apps like clock or calendar disappeared

All the problems in the post, plus the fact that when I try to flash twrp I get an error
OMG, tell me what firmware are you using. Is the Bootloader unlocked? if it is grayed out, you have to fastboot oem relock 0123456789(your code), and then you will be able to turn on OEM Unlock, and fastboot oem unlock either, and flash twrp, but you need special twrp, the 3.0.2.0 doesn't work, or 3.1.0.0 from original TWRP site. Thx, im gonna try to relock it (it was unlocked). So I have to relock it, turn on oem unlock then re-unlock the bootloader to flash twrp. Is the 3.1.0.0 working?

When you turned on OEM Unlock(it seems that you have 5.0 EMUI), you have to unlock after turning on the option, and flash the 3.1.0.2hi6250.img, the others wont work, i will leave you the link with the latest SuperSU 2.82...

P.S. There is no twrp-3.1.0.2hi6250.img anymore, the thread has been closed, try 3.1.0.0 hi6250, it may work.
P.P.S. Do not flash the TWRP 3.1.0.0 from official site, you will get the bootloop with the message of "Your device is booting now"...
P.P.P.S Sorry for my bull****, there is a working twrp-3.1.0.2hi6250.img, i just found it, i downloaded the same image which i sent you here:

Oem unlock will be grayed only after u unlock it .
