Hi guys. I'm just the guy who likes to try new apps. I have a pixel 5. Plus I have an idea for an app but I don't have the skills to make it.
I've been involved into computers since I was 8 years old. I'm 43 now.
I refurbish computers that are donation store. I'm glad to here. I look forward to sharing ideas and how to get apps made through this forum.

Hello everyone. I am here to learn new things. we have about 7 to 10 non-working electronics in our home. Thought I might like to fix them and distribute them to the grandkids, or just hoard them for myself. lol Over the last 10 years i have been visiting this site and have learned a few things. there is nothing like fixing up stuff that you thought you could never do or understand. Mostly when i would fix something it was by accident, and i never knew how i got there or what exactly i did. Anyway, it should be interesting for sure. Thank You all in advance for your help and also for the help ive gotten in the past.
Welcome aboard XDA! Fixing is fun... keep doing it! Enjoy your continued journey around the forums!
Hello and thank you for letting this old sod join XDA
I'm by no means an expert when it comes to tech but more of an enthusiast although I am the one many of my family and friends come to when needing help and/or technical advice and I even sort out iPhones when a cousin of mine manages to forget her details
I've only ever owned 1 iPhone and that was a iPhone 3 and since then I've been an Android fan when it comes to phones and streaming devices.
I've often delved in and out of XDA when doing any research for gadgets or tech support so at 54 I thought it was high time I signed up.
Cheers.
Pete.

Hi I am a Superintendent for General Contracting Company. I'm Currently 56 yrs old. And always been interested in this kind of tech. Though I've never gone to college for Computer software engineering. I'm very impressed by the skill of the contributors here. And look forward to Using some of your hard work. I think what got me interested in XDA was Webos. I was sad to see it killed by HP

XDA Forum..! The entire knowledge acquired by my brain about the android devices started from here . i am an old member who never approached to get an account here and i thought to have an account and would help the ones who needs about the custom rom/recoveries and about the bugs or issues facing around their device.
I forgot to introduce myself I am Stanes Wilson from a city in India who is literally a guy who loves tech and related stuffs and the one who loves programming languages. I think i would give my best to the unknown here which also develops my brain
Welll That all
Thank You

Welcome to XDA! How did your jailbreaking experience go? I've been thinking about jailbreaking my iPad Mini 4 (look at my profile banner). Enjoy the forums, and let me know if you have any questions.

My jailbreaking experience went pretty well actually! I jailbroke mainly to be able to install old games! If you just use the iPad as a secondary device, I would definitely jailbreak it! I think it's really interesting to explore such things! Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me on this forum!

Alright, thanks for the reply! Currently it is just sitting around because the battery life is ~5 minutes. I'll definitely have to try jail-breaking it soon.
