Is 480Hz touch sampling only active in game mode?
Does it maintain 480Hz even when not playing games, such as during regular web browsing or when no games are running after turning on the device?
Hello @Kkjin,
as last friendly reminder, prior to your next posting, kindly read the forum rules. Please do not cross-post same question in multiple threads.

As far as I can find, the touch sampling rate can go lower and higher based on the hardware and software. For the software, Xiaomi has something called 'Smart Touch Mastery' and I haven't quite figured out what it does but it seems to steer the level of touch rate sampling for your device.
Some users report their device goes to 117hz in rest and up to 240hz when the display is touched. For a Xiaomi 12 Pro those numbers will probably be different.
So to answer your question: it seems not based on application but on touch (no touch for X amount of time = rest and reverse.

Hello XDA Members
Part of my high school curriculum requires me to write an extended essay based on a topic of my choice as long as it links to one of my subjects in school.
I have decided to write my essay on ITGS (Information Technology on Global Societies) which is basically an IT course turned into social studies.
My initial idea was "How does the introduction of Voice Recognition software raise an issue of inequality of access?"
It was a very broad question and could branch out to different ideas. So I created a short survey in order to collect some responses which will help me narrow down this idea into a focused research question. It will help me determine the most used software, the languages that it is used in, and it's support for languages and its dialects. From the responses I will be able to focus my research question on a specific software, language and perhaps dialect. So my research question should look something like "How does the introduction of _______ voice recognition software raise an issue of inequality of access to users speaking ____________?" Basically what I would be able to do in the end is specify a stakeholder and a system.
Please answer this survey honestly people and do not invent answers.
Here is a link to it http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SD5DGNR
Thanks!

The updated link worked but as soon as i installed it and used for a bit. I realised it can't work with ips lcd. It will consume a lot of battery.

I'm using Derpfest now and I'm not satisfied with the battery performance. I don't usually use the phone for gaming, only for Facebook, Instagram, Axie Infinity and a little bit of YouTube vanced.
Question: Is there a better custom ROM that suits the RMN Pro 10's battery performance? If so, please let me know your thoughts.
Thank you! Keep safe everyone.
