When I connected to wifi, my tablet just turns off, but not immediately, one time in hour, for example. Anybode had this issue? I also upgreded the device from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 and it does not help. And also I scary to upgrade ubuntu because of this issue.

I have my htc hd7 for 4 days now and i had no problem with the phone so far except a few hours back, when i left my wifi on (i usually turn it off after using) while i continued with my work on my computer. Suddenly the phone vibrated and restarted itself in front of me, i picked up the phone and felt that the lower back of the phone was quite hot.. Turning off the wifi seems to have allowed the phone to cool and no random restarts thereafter.. Anyone encountered the same?
I used wifi for 4 hours (after that the batt was empty) on my hd7 and it was only a little warm and it didn't reset it self .
No such problem here
No problems here. I leave Wi-Fi on all the time when at home, for many hours sometimes, with no overheating issues or random resets.
Ok.. Must be something else that I did.. Anyway I noticed that the phone has notification LED light for missed called but not for unread text messages. Any1 knows how to enable it?
No problem here either. Use wifi as soon as I get it in range.
Mine does this to. It gets super hot at the bottom especially when wifi is on. Im guess that is where the CPU is or the WiFi chipset. About time to exchange.

I noticed this twice. I plugged it to an ac outlet and it began to sync with Zune on PC. I was adding a bunch of new playlists and after a while I caught it restarting. At first i was excited; i thought T-Mobile had sent out an update or something. picked up the phone to embrace the new goodies and then felt the warmth of the phone.
I turn off wifi now to prevent Zune sync unless I need it.
hello. i've been having this odd problem out of the blue for the past few weeks. my g1 shuts itself off every time i attempt to use an app that requires internet. i can turn data off, and my phone works perfectly fine. but when i turn it back on, my phone shuts off, and i can't turn it on unless i have a charger plugged in. some times when i turn it back on, my battery is in the red. it does the same thing when i try to use wifi.
when i do have my phone plugged in, everything works perfectly fine. i'm kind of skeptical of it being a battery problem, but if it was anything else it would have happened a lot earlier than now. but then again, i'm not very phone savvy either.
i'm running cm6 stable with 2.2
Try a friends battery and check

Running the latest CM10.1 my phone's battery was dead so I connected it via USB to my laptop (which was being powered by A/C) to charge it and about 10 seconds later my (Win7 x64) laptop had its first ever BSOD! So I restarted the laptop but it seemed to get stuck on the BIOS screen every time but then I unplugged the USB cable connecting the phone and the laptop then booted normally.
Anyone ever experience anything like this? Any idea what could have caused it? A driver issue maybe? Since this was my first ever BSOD I'd really like to know why it happened since I'm really paranoid about my laptop's health
Maybe a power surge do u have any other usb devices connected

Is bsod means blue screen?

Is bsod means blue screen? If yes then it happens with me a lot of time. It is the driver problem. Uninstall all adb, fastboot and device specific driver and reinstall device specific driver only. Also shut your phone down and reinsert your phone's battery and boot it up. Then connect your device in charge only or any mode. USB Tethering caused me blue screen and CM 10.1 too. I hate CM.
I helped my friend update his HD+ to CM11 the other day, exactly the same way I have my own set up, but the moment he plugged it in to charge it it shut down. This was demonstrated repeatedly. I'm unsure if it has anything to do at all with installing CM11 on it, because it will not charge (the light won't even come on) when it's shut down and it will shut it off even moments after boot, before cyanoboot even shows up. Has anybody ever experienced this before, and if so what did you do to solve it?
Hey Guys,
Got my brand new GS5 on Tuesday this week but I've run into a pretty major data connection issue and I'm unable to identify a root cause for it.
Essentially, when I leave my phone on overnight I wake up with no data connection. The wifi is disconnected, and even though my phone shows it is picking up the network, I can't load any sites or do anything using LTE. Additionally, the wifi isn't only disconnected, the wifi function is literally turned off. When I try to toggle wifi back on, the toggle goes a light shade of green, like it's stuck trying to turn back on, and never turns on.
Eventually I have to restart my phone and it works just fine again. This has happened on 2 of 3 mornings since I've purchased the phone and only seems to happen after extended down time for the phone. I'm thinking of exchanging the phone (this would be my 3rd GS5 as the first one didn't recognize any headphones.)
Any ideas? Anyone else seen this?
Thanks!
