Where to buy a new XDA in the uk?

Hi guys.
Does anyone know where to buy a brand new XDA 1 in the UK? I've been down the normal ebay route and looked on the expansys website but think they are all a bit expensive!
Looking to pay around £170

I ordered one off an internet phone shop a few days ago. £149 with a bluetooth headset, on O2 200.
They are awaiting stock, but just checked the site again and they have put the price upto £250!!. My order still says the same so fingers crossed thats what i get.

I am thinking about upgrading to an XDAIIs for £200. Is this good?
How much do you think I would get for my XDA2 which is a year old?

Click the link under my name and they sell them for less Dependeing on tariff if you buy an XDA IIs on its own it must be good cause although I didn't pay for mine the invoice said £450!!

Oh and if its in good nick your xda II should sell for about £260 (lookin at current Ebay Buying trends) There is an XDA 1 In Cash converters near me for a staggering £199.99 (Fook if I will by that although I would like an XDA 1, 2 and 2s (which i have)

Thanks... thing is I am friends and family so I get 25% off the tarrif cost. I am currently on 02 Max paying less than what si mentioned on that Website..
Think I might just stick to my XDA2...
or get the XDAiis and sell it on Ebay for 400! Any offers?

portabale wifi is good two I know two locations where I can get FREE Internet from someones house network (I say someones cause I don't actually know who they are!)

has the XDAiis got wifi built in???

I think I might wait. Been reading some review that say its full of bugs at the moment..

mines ok but the network cards keep disapearing although i am under warranty! im using it now to get to this site and may i add on someones wifi router

Hi all!
My phone insurance just notified me as they are unable to source a new Xda2i they will instead send me a cheque for £450. I can basically spend it how I wish, but I'm resisting the temptation to go out and buy a set of wheels for my new car!
I have the car holder, sync cable, aluminium case etc all for an Xda2i - so I think I'll Ebay myself an Xda2i for around £150-180 ish.
Or do I go for an Exec at around £400 ish?
Or do I go for a K Jam/ Wizard for around £350 AND get an Xda2i ?
Or shall i try out the Ipaq equivalent?
what do you guys think ?!!

I would get the XDA IIi and then wait a couple of months for the Hermes (K-JAM update)....
But I definately would not go for the Universal as it's way too big... I had one but gave it to my father. He uses it for push mail, etc; not really as a phone!

ive just got an xda 2i as an insurance replacement.
its locked to o2 but as you know can easiyly be replaced.
my contract ends in 2months so i get a new phone then.
so if you want to buy my xda 2i off me id happily sell, its BRAND NEW im after 200 for the whole lot including tom tom 5, Gps receiver

visit Computer Exchange (CEX) in harrow or tottenham court road. They sell mobiles and pda/mobiles. Check www.cex.co.uk for their stock. i know we've got an alpine in our brighton branch, and thats about £180. although they're second hand, they're just as good. (some are as-new).
Got mine at my store, though I did get my 15% staff discount too
Edit: Harrow has at least one, let me know if you want it reserved at all, or call them direct.

You won't find a cheap XDA-branded Alpine in the UK, O2 rips everybody off with their ridiculous prices (or they claw it back with extortionately overpriced tariffs... One of which I'm on :roll: )
Best bet is to buy an import Q-Tek or suchlike.
