Bigger icons? - Android Themes

Hi all, I was looking at a review of the HD2, and I like how at the bottom the icons are 2x2 not 1x1. Do you see what I mean? android is so customisable, this must be possible, right?

It should be, I would ask @anderwebs how he made it so you can change the size of widgets. It should be similar to make the icon sizes customizable, not sure though.

[ICONS] Dark Iconset preview

I am working on a new iconset so I wanted to post a preview.
If you guys like It I'll work on it.
Its look nice work on it ! (btw make pls 90x90 version .)
I like it! Only thing is I'm wondering if the icon will stand up when scaled down. Not a lot of people will use it in this particular size and I doubt if the white character itself will still be as nice as it is right now.
Maybe a somewhat more bold character will be more readable in a smaller scale. But the look itself I quite like for sure!
Here is a version with a different font
Looking forward to seeing more.
hope can have all set soon
Nice job pal..

Or simply may you put a white icon on your perfect black square. I think it would help some cases

Theres other text icons out there, maybe do the same as them?
But one suggestion would be FONE.

Really, use FONE for Preferences? Handy. And use CALC for the dialer then?

Launcher Pro Dock config

Hey all,
Recently saw the thread about peoples home screens and saw some really nice ones.
I have a question though about launcher pro and I can't find any tutorials or solutions for it online.
In short when using launcher pro it gives you a default of 5 shortcuts on the dock for each screen (maximum of 7 screens I think)
I've seen some setups where people have replaced the shortcut image with a word (ie messages, phone, internet)
I want to do this but everytime I try to change the image for a word it shrinks it down to a set size to fit in with the 4 other shortcuts on the dock, I'd like to do it so the word takes up the space of two shortcuts.
Basically I want it to look like the dock at the bottom of this one:
img40.imageshack.us/img40/3710/snap20100911025522.png
(sorry couldn't make it a link and post)
Or at least similar, does anyone know how to do this? I'm using Launcher pro, would I need Launcher pro plus?
Thanks!

You don't need launcherpro plus but what you do need is that exact launch bar or you need to make one yourself. The way that look was achieved is that there are no actual visible icons on that bar, instead they made a .png of a bar with the text where they wanted the icons to be and then used transparent icons to actually place the shortcuts. I believe SonnySekhon has a bunch of docks like that in his theme thread and you can pick and choose one. If you can't find a transparent icon, I'll post one later but I'm getting ready to leave in a few minutes so I can't do it now.

Here is a little something special from me, i think it will help you in re-creating that home screen, its an invisible icon. Just run your mouse over it to see exactly where the pic is. Its hard to see cause its invisible . Plus a drawer icon incase you want it.
I really like it, nice look.

[Q] Icon pack with most icons?

Which icon pack has the most icons? I don't really care how they look, although I prefer a minimalistic look, but I want them all to match.
What I've also tried is remove the colors from each and every icon using GIMP. Most icons like the text app icon look very cool, but other icons doesn't look very good that way.
Like I said, it doesn't really matter how they look, as long as there are really much of them, but I prefer them in a style like these.
Check the top stickied thread in this forum.
I think it says exactly how many icons are in each pack.

Ok, I guess I'm really stupid, but I don't get it... I am just asking for an icon pack that has a lot of icons. I can't tell from that thread which pack has the most icons, except for when I look at each and every icon pack.
This is the biggest icon pack is have ever come across, there not the style you were looking for but it's a big pack, really big like 8000 big http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=796495
Sent from my awesome DZ
I have an icon file much larger than that its over a gig uncompressed about 10000 or more there are some rars in the file as well containing icons so yeah maybe more maybe less heres the url I uploaded it for you so have fun looking through it. http://www.filefactory.com/file/caf1148/n/Icons.rar and let me know if you have any problems with a particular icon... all the icons are good files on my end they all work ive checked them! And for the most part they are all good quality icons some of them are high res so they can be edited!

Note 8 Big home screen Icons (Like S10+ Android 9.0)

Hey guys.
Just a quick question. I saw the S10+ at the store today and saw that it had big icons, which I found to really like.
However, my icons on my Note 8 remain small and I would really want to get those big icons.
Am I missing something? Or is there a way to port the S10s launcher to the Note 8?
Thanks

I'm fairly certain it's a Samsung design choice. I think the difference is intentional from their end. What you can do, however, is install a third party launcher, such as Nova Launcher. With that you can change the size of the icons and the grid layout. You can even apply third party icon packs, which I like to do every so often to make things look a little different and "fresh".
Personally, I am not a fan of the massive icons in the SGS10's UI. I think that the Note 8's icons are the perfect size.
Their is a simple way for big icons

I have a solution for u buddy
Just go to home settings change homescreen grid to 4x5 and appdrawer grid too
U will get so big icons and just keep 4 icons in dock
And to justify the look increase the display size fron settings u will enjoy the one handed look of one ui
