Sorry if this is a bad place to post, but is there a central repository or area to find CM7 themes?

Not really. The place I found the most themes was in the main Android Themes section of the board. I also had found a couple on the Evo Themes section.
Hey has anyone found an Honeycomb lockscreen for CM7?

If you know the members name, just go to the Members List at the top of any forum page, search for the member, open their name then list all their posts.
If you don't know their name, the best method may be mikechannons google search link (stickied in some of the forums).
Hi guys, just wonder what happen to the themes&wallpapers forum thread, tried to search for metamorph related theme/project like android2.0 metamorphed, buuf metamorphed, etc but disappeared. Does anybody has any update/news about those gentlements developing the lovely metamorph project?

wow....thx for referring me to the metamorph post
but i'm a bit lost...any reason the post been moved?
Well I referred you to the forum where the metamorph themes were. This should answer why all the themes, and metamorph themes, were moved http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589817. Now if you looked at the top of the forum I referred you to, you would see a post named "How to MetaMorph/Theme" that would be what you're looking for. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591329

How do I make a unlock like this one?
Download and install WidgetLocker from the Market.
Those are custom skins in particular, which you can find here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825553
Thanks a lot. Is it WidgetLocker Lockscreen by TeslaCoil Software, with the Android guy in a red "box"?

First post here
Had a Samsung Moment for my first android phone and had messed with it but was very unhappy with battery life. I have gotten (a used) HeroC and am looking to update to 2.2 or higher if possible as I would like to have the app2sd option since I am running out of space stupid quick. I am not looking for anything fancy although Sense would be nice to keep. So with this in mind I have 2 questions.
1. What version would you guys suggest.
2. Where is the best and easiest instructions to follow to do this.
Thanks!

First, the best advice you'll ever get on xda is search and read. Second, aospCMod 5/16 is 2.3.4 and based on CM7, it's amazing. For the sense look go into general android themes and apps and look for sense theme chooser themes in the theme chooser sticky thread. I hear NTsense is nice.

NTSense is wonderful. Combined with lpp Widgets, it is the closest you'll get to Sense without Sense.

Personally cannot justify spending that much on a phone but maybe after it has been out for awhile and comes down. Want to play with this Hero and see what can be done with it.

That is where it becomes very confusing while searching. So I find the following link http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=CDMA_Hero_ROMs which shows "aospMod - (11/5/10" but you suggest aospCMod 5/16. Also I am seeing references to radios? I do not recall stuff like that when I was messing with my Moment.
Not trying to be difficult, just trying to understand fully before I do this. I am not planning on getting into trying a bunch of different ones, I want to pick something that is solid and reliable and does not break anything. I see some references to the camera and other things not working sometimes.

This wiki will get you going in the right direction for a load of aosp's gingerbread rom.
Then you can use the NTSense theme to get your sense feel like others have said.

Thanks poashll. Was able to follow and almost everything is running smooth. VVM not working but I know there is a fix for that, just hard to understand the instructions. My other issue I want to get fixed is with the clock. I can pull it up but if I try to set an alarm it force closes. I find no threads on this issue.
(had to remove your link as forum thinks I am spamming :/

aosp just dropped a new ROM, grab that one, it's 5/23.
Thanks for the heads up! That fixed the issue with the clock. Still working on getting Sprint vvm working. Ustream app is also broke with this but that is not a big concern.
Miui advertises 100s of themes. Yet I don't see them from within the OS. I see some here and there in the forums here and there. But really. Where are there. Is there a searchable database somewhere. Something more organized. I just wanna search. Lol. Maybe I'm moping for the wrong keywords. But any help will be appreciated.
There's no real database like that (atleast not one that I'm aware of)
There's some in the Android Themes section here.
Also goto forums>themes at
www.miui.us
www.miuiandroid.com
www.miui.es
And www.miuithemes.com is pretty good

There's an entire database full of themes fully accessible from the phone. Go to settings - themes - online....

Be sure to check out the "What does your MIUI look like?" thread also, tons of stuff posted there..

Thanks for the links. I for the most part kept finding similar links and was looking for mainly a larger all in one searchable database though. Appears there is none. Thanks.
(And I know how to find themes on the phone. I've been through all of them. Clearly not hundreds, lol.).
Maybe someone knows of a good orange colored one. I've been looking for something since I'm not using CM7 right now which was just black and orange really.
Well I knew some of the sites listed but not all. Thanks. Glad I stumbled upon this thread.
