Hey Everyone!
This was requested in another thread so me and my friend Illinois08 decided to help the cause because we love XDA and this is to support them!
We pulled the images for the animation from here: Youtube
All the credit for the actual animation goes to XDA TV! If I knew an actual person I would put them!
All Illinois08 and myself did was pulled the images and added our own touches and put it all in a flashable zip for everyone with sound!
I hope everyone enjoys and please remember that XDA is an Awesome community and XDA deserves all the credit!

Instructions:
Download zip.
Place on SD.
Flash from recovery.
Reboot!
Sorry for the size! We couldn't make it any smaller so it is 21 mb.
NOTE not for gingerbread yet! Custom ROM EC05 until 2.3 supports bootanimation.zip...

BTW... It doesnt look like this on the phone. The gif is just actual size of images. On phone it does normal 480x800!

Can I open this up and place the bootanimation.zip in the /system/media..... I just flashed anonymous rom i3 and the kernel doesn't support boot ani flash

No... I do not think any gingerbread roms support system/media for bootanimation.zip yet. We have to wait until a kernel is made with support. Stock samsung software is weird and doesn't even go off bootanimation.zip.
Unless he changed it which he may have already modded but not that I have seen.
If you try you make experience force closes after push...
Yeah I found the bootanimation (the Droid boot) that he put on there for his rom bbut I can't move it or delete it I guess I can switch between ec05 and ef02 with a quick nand switch lol
Someone's gotta review it on youtube to actually see what it looks like and hear sound. My Webcam sucks.

Yeah... I was thinking Im gonna theme i3 before I flash it again so I could probably just drop the xda boot ani in there and then flash the rom with all goodies included

Always create a Nandroid backup before just to be safe.
All boot animations were tested on my HTC Dream/G1 & should work on most hvga devices(320x480 screen resolution)
To install:
adb push C:\(file location)\bootanimation.zip /data/local/
or
place bootanimation.zip on root of sdcard
& in Terminal type:
su
cp /sdcard/bootanimation.zip /data/local/
reboot

If you have the time and patience, maybe you could make a Motorola boot animation? The Galaxy S has its own boot animation and now I'm just using the Droid's Froyo boot animation. Stupid Moto.

Installation:

No, you just need to replace your current bootanimation file on your phone with this one. You can do this using ADB or root explorer. Just search the forum for tutorial

after you put the bootanimation file on the proper place, did you change the file permission?

First time I made a bootanimation, I extract the file and examine the content.
Just follow the current folder and file structure and re-zip with new image files.
If failed google will always there for you with a tons of tutorial just like @hav0c said-->

Hello im kinda noob developing, but maybe my knowledge in Photo & Video works for something Lol.
Inspired in the movie Tron (i saw it tonight again lol, the 1982 and new one) decie to create something similar, cause most of thing in Android are like that world.
I do it 2 Resolutions "Standar" and "High Quality".

Well my idea was to do an update of the original 3.0 but ok in aprox half hour i gonog to upload the Boot with out 3.1 text.
Hapy to like it

I think... yes, cause u need to install some File Explorer to acces system/media, get Overwrite permisions and change ir for the original "bootanimation.zip".
Dunno if maybe u can replace it by ADB. U can try.

No, you can push it through adb. Look for instructions in other boot animation threads.

He's porting from Another ACS members work for ET4G. Not the CM7 version. The actual sdk dump lacks many images.

Uhh ill need a little more details as to what exactly your inquiring about my man...but I'm asking if the scrolling toggles in the notification bar that Maddoggin but together will be included in another version like some of the other themed versions but together did.
