Just updated from Google Play (Pro version) and now starting to throw FC (process com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup).
Uninstalled and reinstalled...granted SU....still FC.

Got it too two days ago, when the paid market is available to Singapore. I was browsing the market and find it look different but cannot figure out what is it, until I go to downloads and realise that it has a Update All button, this where I realise I got the 2.2 market.
However I thought the new market is only 2.2 only?

Mine crashed when I first tried to open a paid app's page, but after that it works again, when I reopen Market. Have you tried uninstalling the update and let it update again and once it done that, close and reopen market and try to poke around to see if it force close again.

I havent received this update and the APK provided causes force closes all the time. Im Telus Milestone on telus running GOT 2.1 update /w TELUS Lite 4.1

Just update manualy. This silent update needs OTA update enabled. As it is basicly OTA, but just the silent version And custom ROMs dont have OTA working usualy.
The best feature in this market was not posted.
This market remembers what apps you had installed, and after doing factory/changing ROM this market automaticly installs back all the apps! Wonderful, no more need for MyBackupPro, well it is for apps that should be bought

Im also running TELUS Lite 4.1 and getting the exact same problem.
sooo... what features do we gain over the update that was given by default, versus your .apk file?
Is it really worth my time to get this?
As far as know there is no difference to getting update ofcialy or like this way? After all update only updates the market app, nothing else.

The new market keep force closing...can't even get it to open. I tried clearing data and cache and that didn't help. Uninstalled updates and downloaded an early version of the market and that one tries to open but FC's too. Running Miui 1.8.5. Any ideas on how to fix this. Annoying.
Did you ever get this going? I am having the same issue, tried all I can think of.
I had this problem too one one nook (have access to 2, both on miui). Only solution so far was rolling back using titanium and the renaming market updater with .bak to disable it. If i didn't market would update and fc again.
Strange thing is - the other nook is still fine and is on same market release as the other was when it was force closing.
Hoping for a better solution.
I dont like the new market, its design sucks and it lags terribly..
The solution is easy. Use Titanium Backup to remove the otherwise impossible to remove Market Updater application.
Then go into your System > Applications menu and choose to uninstall updates for Market.
This way you can use the old, properly working market, without worrying bout the OS to redownload the new one.

I am having the same problem on the newest miui build that is available. Is anyone stil updating miui?
Any one in here having issues with this version? This one is making me nuts!
It downloads but does not install apps, it stays stuck at downloading, I have done all possible way to fix but no success. i have cleared chache, uninstall update blah, even went to the extreme of wiping my whole phone starting from scratch thinking it was my damn phone still it does not work.
Anyone having same issues? or know a work around?

Then start the app, let it update and it's working again! (at least that's what did it for me)
I have ics and i have no problems, maybe we must to install ics

yep tried it, works for a while but it still updates automatically
I am thinking already this update should not have been made available for GB.......I might think it's only for ICS devices

Solution:
I uninstalled updates (went back to version 3.5.19) and freezed market updater with titanium backup. And it works. :good:

i am also using ics and experincing same problem it could be something to do with google servers becz sometimes i am able to install the apps other times i have to it just keeps on waiting for download
Google or say Goofle messed up big time....they replied back to me saying my phone was rooted!! I mean wtf!!!? they think every android users are noobies and have to buy their arguments.
Freezing market updater with TB works up to now.
Hmmm...looks like freezing and even uninstalling market updater still doesn't stop it from updating.

I reported this problem to google and they replied quickly that they now this problem that have only gt-i9001 and they are working on :good:
Tried this and I'm able to keep version 3.5.19 with no update.
I have installed this one: Vending-3.5.19.noupdate.norestrictions-aligned.apk

Whenever I try and update or install apps on the new play store it crashes. When I uninstall the update it updates it back to 5.3.6. Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, having the same problem with my HTC Evo 3D (Android 4.0.4). Updated from Play Store 5.2.x to 5.3.6 and have just the same issue. Tried uninstalling 5.3.6, tried 5.3.5, tried old 5.2.x from before - even there is the same problem now. I also uninstalled Play Services and tried different versions and deleted and readded my Google account from settings. Nothing helped at the moment.

So finally i got my Mate 20 PRO, and i am excited to try it for games. But i cannot download any apps from google playstore. My internet connection is stable and good. I wonder why i can't download any apps on google playstore. I tried clearing the cache of Playstore and play services. I also tried resetting the phone and nothing new happened. Can someone help me? With my last phone the mate 9, I installed apkpure, then for a few days nothing would download or update. I couldn't even download a image from Google. I tried everything, then I thought I would uninstall recently added applications. As soon as I removed apkpure everything started running fine again.
