Just to update this thread, Diztronic has come out with a case for the Droid RAZR M. I got mine Friday and used it over the weekend. I wrote a review and also posted additional pictures on Amazon.
*I can't post a link but it should be easy to find*
This is my first TPU case, I was previously using a Seidio Surface (hard shell) case on a Droid Incredible with over 2 years of use. A comparison picture of the two is shown in the customer images. I purchased the matte version of the case for the Motorola Droid RAZR M and I have used the over the past weekend for a total of 3 days of use.
Feel: It has a hard, but flexible, plastic type feel to it, but the matte finish gives it a little grip. I haven't had any problems with holding it so far but its not exactly a confidence inspiring amount of grip. Its much better than the hard glossy plastic backs on some phones (like my old Galaxy S II) but probably a very slight step down from this phone without a case. In comparison the Seidio case, has a rubberized type coating on it which gives adds enough grip you are not worried about dropping the phone but is just as easy to slide in and out of your pocket..
Protection: The level of protection this case provides is plenty enough for my peace of mind. Drops from waist height on hard ground should not be a problem. This is one area where the TPU material has its advantage over a hard shell case but not really enough to rule out one or the other.
Build Quality: The case slides on perfectly on the phone and will not come off accidentally. It is not difficult to remove the case either. All the cutouts are pretty much spot on as shown in the customer images. There is no cutout for the SD and SIM card slot, it's easy enough to remove the cover and take the cards out if need be so I think this was a good choice. The power button and volume rocker are molded and are easy to press. The feel is not as clear as without the case but I have no problem distinguishing between buttons or if I have pressed one or not.
Design:
- I was not a fan of their other cases having a glossy part on top so I was pleased to see this case have a minimal amount of gloss and it is only applied to the raised edge on the front that protects the phone when face down. Still, a full matte case would not be a bad thing.
- The logo on the back of the phone is a glossy and looks very professional.
- The matte finish resists fingerprint but if your hands are oily it will still show up. Its easy enough to wipe them off with a shirt or paper towel, etc.
- I had a few times when I had problems due to the edge to edge display where I could not press a button on the screen with my thumb. However, I was able to simply push the case a little out of the way with my thumb and reach the button. It is something that cannot be avoided but is not a large annoyance by any means.
- One of my biggest complaints about the case the uncovered area on the bottom of the screen. I am assuming they did this to leave room for the microphone at the bottom however it looks very strange and does not follow the lines of the phone. It seems like they could have followed the lines of the bezel around the screen and put a small cutout for the microphone like one hard case of the RAZR M has. It would still be easy enough to fit the case on by slipping the bottom of the phone in the case first.
Size: This is a relatively slim case however after using the phone for a week and a half without a case, it is definitely noticeable especially the width when holding the phone in my opinion. Here are some measurements I took with the case on the phone.
. Thickness:
. Bare - 10.5 mm
. Case - 13.0 mm
. Change - 2.5 mm
. Percent Difference - 21.3%
. Width:
. Bare - 60.97 mm
. Case - 65.15 mm
. Change - 4.18 mm
. Percent Difference - 6.6%
. Height:
. Bare - 122.45 mm
. Case - 126.70 mm
. Change - 4.25 mm
. Percent Difference - 3.4%
. Thickness of back of case: 1.57 mm (0.062 inch as shown in customer images)
Price: Can't beat the value of this case. I noticed most of Diztronic's previous cases were right under $10 so I was a little surprised to see it at $12.50 however that should not be a deal breaker for anyone. I also heard that they usually come with a screen protector included but I didn't get one and the description didn't say anything about including one so it didn't bother me but just wanted to inform potential customers.
Conclusion: If they update this case I would like to see them cover the exposed area under the screen and maybe add a little more grip to the properties of the material. They could also reduce the thickness of the case by about 15% or so and that would also be an improvement in my eyes. If Seidio came out with a 'Surface' hard shell case, I would probably switch over but for now I believe this is the best case on the market for my needs.

Thanks for the great review. I picked up a few cases - the Verizon glossy silicone and this eBay TPU case. I also ordered the Diztronic, which should be arriving today.
With the eBay case, I like how thin it is; however, as with the Diztronic case, the area where the mic is located (at the front of the phone) is not protected. Furthermore, the back of the case does not have a cutout for the microphone (or whatever that is above the camera). Also, there is a cutout for the SIM and Micro SD card. The case also has buttons for the power and volume button. Lastly, the cutout for the headphone is not quite as precise. For $5, I was not expecting too much.
The Verizon case, on the other hand, offers more protection - the mic at the front of the phone is protected, the cutouts are much more well done (the headphone cutout is more precise, the rear mic has a cutout), and there is no cutout for the SIM card, which I actually prefer. However, whether it is my imagination or not, it feels thicker overall than the eBay case.
Both cases are fingerprint magnets, though the eBay case is a purer black; thus, the fingerprints show up more, though they are easy to wipe off.
Based on the price difference ($5 for the eBay case v. $20+ tax for the Verizon case), I opted to stick with my $5 eBay case.
I did order the Diztronic, which should be arriving today. I will give it a whirl tonight to see whether it is worth the $10 premium over the eBay case ($12.50 + $2.50 shipping, direct from Diztronic). Diztronic seems to be well-regarded; however, I am concerned about the matte housing, particularly as to how oils will stain the finish of the phone.
I'll be back in a few days w/ my own final thoughts. We'll see whether I stick w/ the eBay case or the Diztronic.
One more thing - the eBay case appears to provide adequate protection. On day 1 of owning the phone, I managed to accidentally drop it on concrete from about waist-high. Luckily, I dropped it on its back, as opposed to the screen. No dings on the exposed camera.

I did get some oily fingerprints on it from working on my car. However I just grabbed a rag and the came right off. I wouldn't be worried about oil staying on it.
The rubberized coating on the Seidio case was harder to get oil off of but not impossible.

Received my Diztronic case, and I definitely prefer it over the Verizon case, as well as the $5 eBay case. I am a huge fan of the matte finish - after about 12 hours of handling - there are no fingerprints or oil stains! Also, the fit is a lot more snug and secure than either the Verizon or the eBay case. With my prior cases, the sides came off way too easily. With the diztronic, the sides feel a lot more solid, although removing the case is still not too difficult.
The cutouts are all where they need to be, and the "look" of the case is simply more elegant and professional-looking. Lastly, the case is thin but appears like it will provide sufficient protection for minor drops, though I'm sure you can get an Otterbox for tank-like protection. The case also has a small lip on the screen so that you can place your phone facedown w/o the screen touching the surface.
In my opinion, this was $15 well spent.
Started using Diztronic's case for the M. Really loving the look and feel, but the buttons and less responsive than I had hoped, and overall grip is pretty lacking (although it could be worse).
Overall, I felt that this is a solid deal for $10.

Does anybody have this? It looks really sharp (and I'm about to order one) but the only thing holding me back is the top/bottom. It looks like it doesn't cover it properly. Whenever I've dropped a phone and got some scuffs, it's always the top and bottom that take the brunt of it.
If you have this case, could you post some pics? Or provide some insight to the protection? Here is a link to it on Amazon:

i had this case for a few weeks now. i'm pretty happy with it. phone sits nice and snug inside the case with a nice feel to the material and barely adds any dimensions it.
the front extends a bit past the edge of the phone so that its raised off your glass if put face down. the top and bottom is exposed but if it falls on any flat surface the edges of the case sticks out far enough that it'll hit the case first and not the phone itself. not sure if the case will pop out on a fall and don't intend to find out, but it fits snug enough that sometimes it takes the back battery door off when i remove the case. screen protector that comes with the case is complete junk.

Thanks for the link, just checked it out. I'm still torn. I absolutely LOVE the look and sleekness of it, but I know as soon as I buy it I'll drop my phone and scuff the top. This would anger me
I dropped my x2 three days after purchase and scuffed it all up right at the top. I haven't let this Bionic be naked once - it was covered before I left the store.
It's a damn shame too - because this phone is sexy naked.

I have the Incipio Feather and didn't like how the phone was exposed on the bottom either. I also didn't like the feel of the phone at the bottom with the case on.
I bought a couple Cruzer Lite cases instead and really like them. Check Amazon.
I bought the incipio feather a few weeks ago and its by far the best case out there if you like to keep the curve of the phone and you dont want to add an siginificant bulk

I for one, love the Feather case...but alas, I contacted Incipio and they have no plans to make one for the extended battery. Does anyone know of a case that is similar to the feather, but fits the extended battery?

I'm not a big big fan of cases. I had a Droid 1 with the Body Glove that gave really good protection but it made it really bulky and hard to get in and out of pockets. When I upgraded to the Droid X, I just got the full body invisiShield, which worked great but did not protect against drops and dents
The Bionic with the plastic full cover backing, I didn't think a full body invisiShield would have been the right choice to go (actually my friend has it and he has huge peeling problems). When I shopping amazon, I came across this TPU case, and for $9, it was worth a shot... It seriously was the best buy I could've ever made. When its on your phone, it is solid. It doesn't feel flexible and I haven't dropped my Bionic, yet. The backing is a nice matte black -- it has a very natural feel (like you don't have a case). It does add SLIGHT girth/weight, but its not at all cumbersome. The Bionic fits real snug and it lips around the edges in the front (you can set it down face down and the screen doesn't touch the table -- this is a huge convenience, one example would having your phone drop flat on the front side, given that there aren't any rocks or pointed objects (but if you dropped it even w/o the case, well same story...).
The best part, it fits in the Cardock PERFECTLY. Downside, it does not fit on the desk dock... but when I'm at home or at my desk... I rock my Bionic naked... and the case is flexible, so its easy to take off/on.

Thanks for the post - good read.
I researched the case you spoke of and it's very similar to the Verizon gel case I currently have. It definitely provides the right amount of protection, but I'm looking to get that "sexy naked feel" the unprotected Bionic provides.
Here is what I'm thinking. I'm going to order the matte black phantomskinz skin. Cover the top and bottom (the only parts exposed from the incipio feather case) and then rock the incipio. Might be slightly ghetto, but I'm sure I can get it looking good. That will give me the lightweight feel of the incipio case with some protection from nicks and scratches on the top and bottom.
I'll post pics when I make it happen.
I would definitely invest a little more for the balance of sexy and protection, this was just the quick fix for now but its turning into a permanence since it really tops the silicon gels.. pictures just don't do it justice.

I've just become a huge fan of TPU after picking this up. I'm not a big fan of high gloss or clear/patterned designs, the matte black is definitely a sexy finish.

You sure love your TPU. Lol. Few questions:
Have you seen the Verizon gel case that speak of?
How similar/different is it? Size wise? Obviously one is matte and one is glossy.
Just curious, cause that's what I rock, and from pics it seems the matte vs. glossy is the only real noticeable difference.

Yeah, when the Droid X came out, another friend of mine got the Verizon case at the store. The ones we are talking about are the silicone gel cases that are really flexible and rubbery. I would almost describe it as sticky as over time it gets softer and attracts more lint. These slip off the phone easily sometimes. The width that it adds is pretty minimal since it is a floppy material, and a hard shell case is just the opposite in that respect. The hard shell cases in my experience fit the phone real nice, and are not floppy at all, and add minimal width. When you drop a hard shell though, the hardshell cracks over time and it doesnt really distribute the shock. But its to your preference and likelihood of dropping your phone I guess. I'm just really backing how cheap the TPU cases are and how reliable the material is. It seriously is something you have to see to beleive. Let me know how the incipio is!

Update..
I just noticed my desk dock had a "padding"... it totally fits with this case on!
Got this case today.
Initial impressions:
*Absolutely love the thinness of it. It feels like I don't have a case on. Looks sharp.
CONS:
*No top and bottom protection (I knew this before purchase)
*Back gets smudgey

You know what I just realized? When I wrote this post, my phone was in a TPU case. Lol.
I got the smoky argyle one, and definitely loved the appearance and lightweight feel of it. I thought it felt a little janky by the power button (was pretty loose) and there were some leftover nubs from where it was cut - clearly visible against the black background of the screen.
I got some black sandpaper and sanded it down, but it left the case looking like garbage. I got it for $2.95 + $2.95 shipping, so I'm not complaining. I might end up ordering another.
I just got this case, iridescent red one, I agree the top and bottom is exposed but the look and feel of it is very nice. It is very sexy looking as well, doesn't cover anything that shouldn't be covered like holes etc.
The main reason I got this one was that someone said it would fit in the Moto car dock, and it does. However, if I hit a bump some times it pops up justttttt enough to stop charging. Pop it back down and it stays for a while again.
Funny no one else ever mentions this but I live in Florida, and every single black droid I have owned (1, 2, 2global, and now bionic) overheats when going on long trips and using Nav. Can't charge it when it overheats. I wanted to go with Iridescent Red to maybe reflect some of that heat...hope it works.
Also, red and black just go together....
I loved the one for the M7 and had to get it for the M8. Pics in the imgur link.
IMO the best aluminum bumper out there.
They fixed the tactileness of the volume button and cutouts are perfect. I particularly love how they cut out the top for the IR blaster. The edges are flush with my glass screen protector. The bolts are now allen key hex head with bigger bolt heads. PS didn't affect my reception on both the M7 and M8 for Tmo US.

Looks really nice. Price is a little too steep for me though. $50 for an aluminium bumper when there are a few for less than half that. I am wondering if it is worth the premium.

You're right. I have bought a couple $10 ones off eBay. Those were flimsy compared to the DevilCase and the buttons never worked for me. The DC is easy to slip on and it seems like they put effort into it if that helps.
Though I'm the kind of guy that would buy $70 custom dbrand skins.
What did this cost you if you don't mind me asking? Have you noticed any issues with signal?
The lanyard loop on the bottom has basically sold me on this case.
I saw a 60FPS sample video from a concert on Reddit. That video sold this phone to me.
However I WILL NOTE bring my phone to a concert as crazy as I go with no wrist-strap.
This is the only case I've seen so far with one. Anyone know of some others with lanyard loops?
Finally, a proper bumper for M8.
I've tried *all* the cheap variants, ~$10 each(likely produced by same factory), extremely thin, their fits are not snug, your phone may slide around, even scratch itself on the case. I added a layer of soft electrical tape all around the internals to get them to fit better. Impacts on the corners will easily dent/bend the cases such that they may not fit anymore. One of them even sliced INTO the back of my phone, chipping the corners(a painful sight). After a while(~1 week), they'll start expanding, becoming looser around the middle and developing a soft bulge.
This costs roughly $32 USD, I'm not sure about shipping(I can only read simplified chinese). If I'm not wrong, each package comes with 5 sets of stickers for the front and back(shown in the video). Best part is that the bumper is designed just well enough to keep elevate the back of the phone off the table when placed on its back(shown in last image), none of the cheaper variants do that, though one of them do have thick fronts, suggesting to place the phone screen-down(no contact).
OP, please help clarify what I couldn't! And nice find!
This case looks great. I don't know of any cases off hand that have an IR cutout. I can't believe they make so many cases without that.

They're $49.99 on Amazon Prime. (USA) I wanted a premium bumper for my premium phone.
http://www.amazon.com/DevilCase-Alu...=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1407767057&sr=1-2
Black, Titanium Gray, Silver, Red, Champagne Gold.
Looks like all that's available are Red, Blue and Silver
I don't think US customers get a skin (mine didn't)
DevilCase only officially sells through Amazon to the US. I have my dbrand on anyway.
EDIT: The skins are about $8 USD
http://www.amazon.com/DevilCase-Bac..._3_m?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1407767701&sr=1-3
Half the price of the dbrand (Except it looks like the front doesn't wrap around like the dbrand)
But yeah, I had the same bumper for the M7 and threw my phone around no problems. No flex to the bumper at all.

Hey just so you guys know, you can order from the taiwan website! They will ship it international and include a guide to purchase for foreigners as well. The grey seems to be out of stock on anything but the taiwan site, so I am going to try ordering from there!
I hope they make it in plastic or polycarbonate. Metal just kills the reception.

I think that's why they left the top of the phone uncovered. Since the M8 is wrapped in metal except for the top and the screen, most of the antenna are likely to be at the top, so this wouldn't interfere with signals so much. Then again, this is just a guess.
The previous bumpers I've used which wraps around entirely do noticeably affect signal strength, though.

The antenna goes under the white strips on the back.
The top is just for the IR blaster, really.

Received mine here in Germany from Taiwan today, ordered directly from their website. Took 9 days, price including shipping was 37,50 €, plus 7,19 € import tax, which I payed when I picked it up from customs.
No reception loss, fits perfect, and the skins are included (all available colours).
Best decision since buying the One M8. :good:
Ordered mine one week ago from France.
For those people like me from country where it is impossible to ordered in amazon.com, here is my workaround, shipito.com.
Make an account on that site, pay 5 dollars, get an US address, send the DevilCase to the US address.
When shipito receive it, send it to your address.
Will post pictures when getting mine
Bumper
So just to clarify, if you have the face up the back is completely off the surface it's laid on? And likewise if the screen is down? I really like the look of it, and really interested.

Correct, Face down, the bumper is flush with my glass screen protector. Just enough to lay flat but not touch the front. On the back the lip is higher on the top and bottom and it's curved a little bit.
After reading this thread and since I wanted to switch to a more pocket-friendly protection (used UAG Maverick semi-clear case before hand, which was excellent but slightly bulging in pocket), I decided to order this bumper from their Taiwanese website.
Ordered the gray color, a perfect match to the gunmetal M8 if you ask me.
Had to pay approx. 9.7$ (USD, that is) for customs fee, which is slightly annoying but that's not Devilcase's fault.
The bumper itself is very well build and precisely cut, feels very durable, volume buttons are responsive and easy to press, cut outs for USB + headphone + IR blaster are generous and the lanyard hole is a nice extra (if a matching color lanyard was included that could be nice too ).
The bumper came with five stickers: Gold, Blue, Black and 2 different shades of Gray. The stickers have brushed metal texture on them but the texture goes vertically whereas the M8 had a horizontally textured body.
Personally, I have a naked SlickWraps sticker on my device so I haven't tested Devilcase's stickers but someday in the future I'll probably want to change things up a bit and will find them useful.
Protection is excellent as the front has a tiny lip and the back has a curve that lifts the device from the surface it sits on.
Overall, excellent bumper. Not a cheap case, price-wise and quality-wise.
Very recommended for those who want minimum bulk yet high quality material and fashionable protection.
Thank you for letting me know about this case and hope this mini-review helped others too

While purchasing my HTC One M8 (2nd hand from Craigslist), I got this along with with a Ringke Slim as part of the purchase deal. I am thankful that I did not put any money into buying this particular case...Here's why:
Pros:
One of the thinnest cases available.
Very customizable and modular.
Fits onto the phone very well.
Cons:
The color combinations make this highly expensive phone look like a cheap children's toy.
Very difficult to install onto the phone (And may cause scratches on the sides of the phone).
Very weak design (I suspect with one drop, the entire case will shatter or crack).
The build quality is very poor (only 6 small tabs hold the top and bottom portion of the case).
Feels very weak and fragile when held.
The retail box showcases the case fairly well.
When you take out the case you can see and feel how cheaply made it is.
Really? Just 3 tabs/indentations to hold one portion of the case together...
Who would feel comfortable with these bright color variations?
In conclusion, I would never use this case. Its so poorly made, I'm afraid pieces of it will fall off if I put my phone in my pocket. It provides the absolute minimum shock protection and is a complete eyesore.
I can't in good conscious sell this case to some poor soul. Its the worst case I've ever seen and held. When its time for me to upgrade my phone, I'll give this case for free...It's just not worth the $9-$15 that's being sold on Amazon.
Thank you for doing this review. When I got my M8 a while ago I was about to get it but I decided to get a Speck Candyshell. What case do you have currently?
No problem.
The case I use for day-to-day is the MYRIANN Ultra Slim Transparent Case. Since I don't use the IR functionality, the only real issue is the hard to press volume rocker. This case protects the edges very well and I'm quite satisfied with it.
These are my current cases:
I might get the transparent case. I really don't care about the IR blaster since that is one feature that I do not use.

Great choice. Its the only case that I know that completely seals up the most vital crevices from dust and debris.
LG made my favorite case for the N5 and it looks like they've made something similar for the 5x as well.
+The official LG Snap On case is hard, thin plastic with no lip and no button coverings. With my N5, it was nearly impossible to tell there was even a case on: it's just that thin.
-The only downside was due to not having a lip, the phone can shift around a tiny bit inside the case as the lip tends to hold the phone in place. It's also a bit expensive ($20-25).
I'll post some links I've found to buy the product here but most of mine are from sites that sell to Canada. Feel free to share any links you've found to buy the case in the US or other countries as well.

Thanks to @Infekxion for bringing this case to my attention.
For a super-thin case I picked up this one (I'd had one of these imak cases for a Razr Maxx a long time ago as well): http://www.ebay.com/itm/11181578731...49&var=410801075038&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
It does have a small front lip, but is also ultra thin, fits tight as a drum, and at $7 delivered is dirt cheap. Nice texture for better grip as well.

Nice find. Looks like one of the "quick sand" type cases. Those are great too (I had one for my N5) though the official LG case was noticeably thinner and with no lip felt like there wasn't even a case on the device.
On the up side the quicksand cases have unparalleled grip, though some people might be thrown off by the rough texture.

Interesting looking case, I think this'll be #3 or 4 i've bought, I tend to accumulate cases until I find one I like. It's certainly cheap enough to be disposable if I don't like it.
Sweet. I remember this case well (in N5 forums) but never got one they were a pita to find for me So I got the ringke slim for the N5 still have it and phone. I've gone caseless on the 5X so far I really like it but my OCD makes me buy cases....
Does it scratch the phone in any way?
I used similar case for my n5 and I remember it scratches corners when I try to put it on/off

I actually never took that case off my N5 since it was easy to forget it had one on lol. I suspect the same will be true for this version. However I could imagine scratches being a possibility since thin hard cases tend to be quite tight and and difficult to remove.
There is a techniques I've seen used to help remove those types of cases safely using a taped credit card.
Any idea where can I get this in the UK? I got the official one from google but it's just too bulky for my liking...
EDIT: Just found it on amazon UK. Here's the link for anyone interested (white version also available!):

Is this case as slippery as the phone? I normally have my phones naked but for the 5x it is slipping out of my fingers when trying to pick it up on the sides specifically and it has slid out of my pocket a few times.

Ive yet to receive mine but if it's the same as with the N5 case, the matte plastic will be almost identical to the 5x plastic.
For something with more grip check out that quicksand case linked earlier in this thread. Or if you don't mind a bulkier case I quite like the Diztonic matte texture I've been using for the last couple weeks. It's your standard case size but very easy to pick up and put down, has a better texture for gripping, and no doubt will protect well in a fall.
This thin hardshell is more just to protect from scratches and minor bumps while not noticeably enlarging the size of the device.
I got my case yesterday and finally have a chance to upload some pics. It's a little bit thicker than the original but I enjoy it just as much. The caliper I used may need slight adjustments and the bottom edges gave me the best reading but you get the idea. I really like how there's no lip on this one either.

Thank you. LG Logo looks removable. Is it?
Yes it is, doesn't look like it'll come out accidentally. It's a nice little accent that goes well with the imprint ring.

It's enough to be removable. I'll consider to buy this one. Maybe the ice one. I don't know.
Has anyone found this in white for sale in the US?

No scratches yet. I have a way of removing the case, same way with the old N5, hold phone with top end pressing into my waist and pry the bottom edges with my thumbnails. Slides off pretty easy. I recommend sitting down while doing it.

is imak thinner than spigen one?
i have spigen case installed. but the spigen's lower left corner has space with phone... too bad....
btw imak is really cheap... only $3 in china, so i am afraid of the protection when phone fall from hands....

None of the thin cases are really designed to protect in a drop. More just for scratches and minor bumps.
They might help a bit but even a thick case is no guarantee to protect the device in a drop.
I've personally tried the Diztronic case which is less than $10. It's made from thicker TPU material with a lip that would offer more drop protection than these thin cases.
"My hand is pretty small - but the phone is very comfortable to hold. :3 ( with and without the fusion case. )
The case made the phone less slippery though. ( which is a good thing - as it is less likely to slip out of my hand, lol. )"
I don't know if this case has been reviewed yet or not but I just got it today. I had to find a case quick and it needed to be cheap since I don't know if I'll be getting the HTC 10 or LG G5. It also needed to be available for same day Amazon shipping since I couldn't go another day without a case. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to use this phone without a case but it's design makes it a little difficult for me. My palm is always touching the screen which causes some minor issues but my biggest complaint is while playing a game such as Trials Frontier. When playing a game like this, it starts to become uncomfortable after just 5 minutes of play. It's most likely due to the phones thin edges which are rounded but still sharp when holding it horizontally.
Anyway, this case fixed all of my issues. It still keeps the phone very thing but it provides just enough thickness to the edges to make the phone feel more comfortable when using. The case itself feels well made but I suppose there isn't much to screw up with a TPU case. All of the cutouts match up and the buttons stay very crisp. The case provides a nice grip without providing to much grip to where it becomes an issue sliding your phone in and out of your pockets. The actual fit of the case is very snug but it's still easy to remove. I suppose if you keep on removing it and installing it, there is a possibility it could become loose.
In regards to protection it's not going to work any miracles but I'm sure it would provide some kind of protection during drops. It's a super thin case that has the corners slightly raised. They are raised just enough to keep the display off of a hard surface if the phone falls face down or if you like keeping your phone face down on the table. These raised corners however only slightly sit above the front glass so dropping it on an uneven surface such as asphalt could have dire consequences. The back is no problem at all as the raised corners give the back glass more clearance.
If you're looking for a crystal clear super thin case that offers nice grip, decent protection and allows you to showcase this nice looking phone then you might be interested in it. If you care more about protection than the way your phone looks and feels then this probably isn't the case for you.
You can pick it up on Amazon for $12.99 (PRIME Eligible.)
Side Note: The Edge display keeps full functionality if that's important to you.

I did this late last night. I'll take some pictures today and add them.
i bought 4 luvvitt cases when they were like $4-5 on slickdeals including this one. haven't opened this one yet, but will. thanks for the review.
Does the back have texture? Does part of the phones glass back stick to it at all?
Also btw the sale on these cases (including the normal clear one) are still going on with the code SLICK007

Yes. The back sides are textured. I also just removed it to see if it stuck and no it doesn't.
I don't know what kind of deal that coupon code gets you but it its $10 or less then I'd definitely get one. I needed the case same day shipped through Amazon Prime so I just paid full price.

Just wanted to help out on the real pictures. It's fine I've been using the Spigen Tough Armor for now. Just wanted a clear one for home or if show of how nice the phone looks while still on case.
Thanks from the real pictures. I knew I was forgetting something today. My wife had me running around like a chicken with my head cut off today since we are having family over our house for Easter tomorrow.

can you detail your opinions about the build and pros cons of the Luvvitt cases.
Bought sleek armor and aside from the lack of lip it seems like a nice low profile case with some protection. Just dont like the fact that the phone when face down with the case does not have enough lip to protect the screen.
The home button rest directly on the surface.Testing this out I caused micro scratches on the home button which is naturally a bit raised.
Would love pics and opinions on what yours are like...
