once you use it "naked", you will never go back. tablet's screen is not easy to scratch like a phone's since we don't slide it in and out the pocket regularly

If I was the only one using it I would but I have a 11 year old that loves fruit ninja and cut the rope and LOVES her long nails. i know that the screen will be able to withstand it but I don't want to take that chance.

well i use screen protector on my mobile but not in my tablet reason is that it does not get mixed with keys coins etc so no harm ,also the new coatings of screen are scratch resistant, thats my 2cents

Spigen makes one of the best protectors i'v ever used. Very smooth and clear

is available for preorder.

Having had an extremely positive experience with a Skinomi protector that I installed on my wife's Kindle Fire HD, I ordered one for the Nexus 10.

Even though it states that the product will be released on November 20, I have already received a shipping confirmation.

PLEASE, no one mention garbage like zagg. thanks..

Just an FYI, Amazon has that same ArmorSuit for a few bucks less

In my experience, they always make the screen look awful. It's made of gorrilla glass anyway, thats the point is that you shouldn't need to use a screen protector.

As Dja357 said, it's made of gorilla glass. No screen protector needed.

I ordered some $5 protectors off ebay for mine.. i mainly like them for anti-glare.. BUT it does just destroy picture quality
As for scratches.. my fire's protector has a huge gouge across it. and no idea how it got there was worth the money to protect it

The screen quality does go down a bit with some protectors, but they help with glare and make it easier to clean too. I'm going to wait and see what type of case I end up finding before I decide on a protector though, its slim pickings right now

I'm more concerned of the back. But back protector is ridiculously overpriced right now
Sent from my beloved home phone.

Call me a crazy noob but I just took some scissors and snipped off the tab for removing the protector that came on the nexus 10. I left the original screen protector in place. It fits perfectly, there are no bubbles, no trapped fibers it is the best installed screen protector I've ever had. I will admit it is not quite as smooth as the exposed gorilla glass around the front camera and sensor but it is close and I have the piece of mind that should any horrible accident (or even a minor one) befall my tablet, I know that I can always rip off this screen protector to see a perfect piece of glass, untouched by human hands, beneath. Having a screen protector, for me, is mostly psychological.

Plus 1......whenever a bubble appears I just slide it off with my finger easier than any paid protectors. No dirt/lint on corners. Screen quality is beautiful even with it on so I can't imagine with it off. I'm sticking with this original until a smart cover with glowing reviews come out...

I can vouch for that... Had it on my iPad screens because believe it or not iPad screens skratch with NOTHING so I learnt my lesson and put protectors on. I had Spigen protector and even though they are pricey NO BODY including myself ever noticed there was a protector on top of the screen.

I have a spigen on my galaxy note, I'm gonna get a n10 soon and definitely will buy one for it , and with two kids a screen protector is a no brainer, you can't tell the difference with the spigen on it. Is an awesome screen protector.

screen protectors

who's using them? i horribly failed at putting one on today (a free one that came with my case..looked crappy though with tons of bubbles between the 3 layers before i even put it on lol) but yeah, i'm real bad at putting protectors on tablets because it kept coming out crooked because of that damn home button etc.
anyway, i've got a pack of 5 coming in the mail sometime this week, and i'm wondering if i should even bother attempting again, or just use it naked. it feels so good without a protector, but i'm afraid of scratching the screen. i've been using screen protectors since 2011 with my HTC Rezound, so idk what to do. i always end up with tiny scratches on my protectors, so i'm thinking i'll end up scratching the screen..

Put one on but spend at least 10 bucks for a decent one. Illunisheild thats the one I got from amazon for the 8.4 its pretty good.
I got these:

I always put screen protectors on all of my phones and tablets. I've just put one on my Tab S 8.4, had a few dusts under the protector. usually I would rip it out and try again, but I thought not today! Because fortunately the screen protector came with some stickers to help get rid of the dust.
Happy to say it is dust and bubble free now. Although it is not one of those fancy screen protectors, just a cheap one called elec shield.
invisible shield is the best.

I ordered these from Amazon as well. Should be in today.
I'll give it a try and see if I like it. Probably gonna feel weird at first though.
I too would like to buy one. I asked ismooth on twitter but they are not gonna make one for the tab S (I have one for my note 3 and it's just perfect).
I think I'm gonna go Invisibleshield. It's not cheap but I've only heard good things about their products :good:
anyone have any tricks as to how to get it on nice and straight on the tablets? I'm bad at tablets for protectors but decent at phones. I saw one idea where you place it down on the screen then tape the sides like a hinge, then you flip it over, peel it off, and just flip it back and lay it on the tablet and it should line up perfectly. wonder if it works.

That's exactly what I did. Works perfectly. The screen protector I bought even came with the positioning tape and stickers for dust removal. But you can just use Scotch tapes.
Mr shield
I have used many different screen protector products. I like spigen and I just installed the Mr shield ones. The are two finishes. Clear and matte. The matte finish cuts a lot of glare but impacts out door viewing. I now have the clear and love it. No bubbles. I have several videos on screen protectors that show tips on install . Herr is my initial install http://youtu.be/NHzarYjTtzE

sweet! i'll give it a try when they come in
Putting on a screen protector reminds one of what a dirty filthy planet we live on. There is dust EVERYWHERE. One tried and true method is to run a hot shower in your bathroom for 10 minutes with the door closed until the room steams up. This pulls all of the airborne dust from the air. Turn the shower off, and use the tape hinge method to apply the protector.
Despite your best efforts you are likely to STILL get that ONE DAMNED PIECE OF DUST FROM HELL that manages to somehow get on the screen. If that happens, DO NOT TRY TO PEEL THE PROTECTOR UP FROM THE EDGE because if you bend it at all it will never seat again properly and you'll have a bubble that won't go away. Use tape to stick to the outside near the corner and gently lift that way, then use another piece of tape to grab the dust particle.
One negative of putting a screen protector on a tablet this size. Unless the protector is tempered glass, you are likely to feel a bit of drag as you swipe the screen - no plastic will ever feel as smooth as glass - and because the area is larger than your phone, you'll notice the resistance more. Also, unless the screen protector has an oleophobic coating, it will be harder to clean greasy fingerprints of it than from glass. Last point, most screen protectors are actually softer than glass so you are likely to get it pretty scratched up which, while saving your glass, leaves you with a scratched up viewing surface you have to look at. The alternative is to buy a screen protector with a hardness of 9 or above with an oleophobic coating but those tend to be a lot more expensive.
Get a pack of 3 or more if you can. You WILL screw it up a few times and you WILL want to replace them occasionally as they get scratched up pretty easily depending upon how anal you are about such things.
good advice, thanks! but do you guys think this thing needs one in the end? I know gorilla glass is pretty soft and scratches easily so idk..

I don't believe this tablet has Gorilla Glass, at least I don't believe the specs say so (could be wrong?). So yes, it could scratch easily. You can try and be careful but all takes is a tiny bit of grit on your finger, stylus or wiping cloth and you are done, Gorilla Glass or no.
Actually you know, skip the steamy bathroom. Just do it in a dry room but use a strip of masking tape and screen until every bit of dust is gone. Also remember, after you place the protector on the screen with the taped hinge, make sure you clean the screen again because it will get dust on it from the bottom of the protector.
Mr Shield makes very good inexpensive protectors.

Why put a cheap screen protector on a premium device like the tab s. The best deserves the best or better. my screen protector cost 2 for 13 and a tempered glass on is on its way for $18. You cant even tell there on when installed correct.

Be very careful with the tempered glass protector. NEVER left it up by the edges - use tape. They bend VERY easily and once bent will never lay down flat properly again. Every tempered glass protector I've ever used developed sealing problems along the edges, especially near the home button. YMMV but that is my experience.
There aren't good selection of screen protectors in the UK. Looked in Amazon, Ebay, Google, nothing with quality. So I only got the Elec shield.
I'd get tempered glass if I could, but as long as I screen is protected for now, then I'm happy enough.

Best Glass Screen Protector?

What is the best glass screen protector available right now for the note 4? I wish the spigen gLass nano.slim was available....
spigen gLass nano.slim for sure, however, being in the same boat as most of yall waiting for it to become available I just ordered the iSmooth one as I've used them before and it's pretty good quality compared to the cheapo's out there.
Just to get me by...oh well...
This is what I have; I like tech armor because of their lifetime warranty. I have not used a glass screen protector before but put one of these on my wife's iphone and it seems great...

Why do people need it now?
Sometimes I forget I have my keys, or loose change in my pocket. Don't want t o scratch the screen.

The question is:
Which glass screen protector will have the greatest coverage (closest to the edges) as most, if not all, glass protectors are cut short stopping right before the curves near the edges.
This may be a problem.....having second thoughts about glass screen protectors now...
I think the iloom e might have full coverage. They bragged about being the first to do it on iPhone 6 and that also has the 2.5D glass as well.
i grabbed this one, and it shipped really fast; not sure how it will work, but its full coverage, and under 9 bucks!

I don't use screen protectors either. But ever since I saw a few people here at work with glass screen protectors on their new iphones I've been looking around and they seem pretty awesome. I've seen a few videos on youtube where they smash the screen with a hammer and only the protector broke with the screen left intact.. Also the anti-fingerprint coating is a plus. The cases I buy always have to have a lip but the screen protector is just in case.
This UAG case I have on my note 2 has saved my phone so so many times from being dropped 5ft in the air flat on its face.
The tech armor doesn't come close to covering the whole screen..piss
I have always been partial to invisisheilds. The extreme versions is what I've used on my pass galaxy devices. Then I moved to the glass version of their product on my note 3. It was perfectly clear had a life time warranty. I am looking forward to using the same for my note 4.
I bought the Envelop one. Thing isn't even big enough, just ordered a Spigen one.
I bought two Spigens based on reputation and price: $3.49 each (plus $5.00 shipping) at the early morning (ET) Amazon flash sale. If I had to pay full price, I'd also consider a non-glass solution, Rhino Shield.
Darn, I bought the tech armor glass last week. I guess it'll have to hold me over until better ones come out. I bought it direct from Techarmor.com and used promo code TechArmor2962 for 30% off. Came out to be $9. I bought the Spigen one for the iPhone 6 and it didn't cover the entire front either.
I am still debating on whether to buy screen protectors either glass or not as I haven't used screen protectors in years and everything I have/had was/is fine...
but seeing how the note 4 would be the most expensive mobile/handheld device I've bought and come to think of it probably the most expensive thing I have every bought in my life I might wanna protect it from here and back XD

Rhino Shield's website has a variety of videos persuasively showing the need for some kind of screen protection. As between their product and a good glass screen protector, there seem to be both pluses and minuses, so long as one is willing to accept the fact that, in an acute situation, the glass screen protector will be destroyed.
Any of the glass protectors available leave the space between the home button and the bottom of the phone exposed? I don't think I want a glass protector that encircles the home button because that would mean trouble for the fingerprint scanner as far as I can tell - a sticker for the home button would surely interfere with it.
Thanks!

For what it's worth, I have the Mime Ghost glass protector and it encircles the home button. It doesn't effect the finger print scanner at all. It works great.
With that being said, I can't recommend the Mime. Like other glass protectors thus far the sides are no where close to staying flush against the screen.

Matte vs Glossy Screen Protector

Hey everyone. So I just got my brand new droid turbo and was wondering what brand and type of screen protector you are using and if you recommend it.
I understand the general pros and cons of matte vs glossy, but with the droid turbo having a quadHD display and having the pixels not so close to the top of the screen as other phones (from what I heard) should that affect choosing one over the other?
Thanks for any and all input!
Waiting for zagg glass or zagg invisishield HD... don't get anything else.
I've been a long time Zagg user, but picked up the Skinomi - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OYX80W4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Put it on last night and pretty happy with how easy it went on and the fact it fit pretty much edge to edge (a little shy on the bottom but since I'm using the Tech21 case from Verizon pretty unnoticable. A lot cheaper than the Zagg but quality seems on par. It will be interesting to see how it holds up.
The skinomi looks like a quality product. How is the 'drag' when sliding your finger across the screen compared to zagg?

Non-existent. Comparable to a Zagg HD screen, no orange peel feel on the Skinomi. I think I'm noticing a little more finger oil left behind on the Skinomi vs. the Zagg but not enough to be noticeable and not 100% sure. The screen fit is much better than the Zagg's I put on my wife and son's MotoX's.

Edit: I echo a later comment about 'dents' in the Skinomi. I imagine it's the same property that allows for self healing, but it's making me crazy. I've ordered
Motorola Droid Turbo (Verizon) XT1254 Tempered Glass Screen Protect... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P8V5J4I/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_RvFGub1RNXY44 and will follow up.
1/7/15 the tempered glass is great. Fits great.
Skinomi has been great so far. I also will note, that once the application fully dried there was no clarity issues (rainbowing) that I've have had in the past with some screen protectors.
I'm not having a good experience with the skinomi. Ordered two a week ago for mine and my wife's turbo, they both went on ok, yet mine had some bubbles in the lower left corner, figured it would clear up in a day or two when all the solution dried up. Wrong, instead it peeled up and would not stick back down. Contacted skinomi for a replacement, recieved Monday, today the upper right corner on the new one peeled up... Bummed.
The upper right corner on the new one had the same type of little bubbles the lower left corner had on the previous. I think it's something to do with the adhesive underside..
I installed skinomi 3 days ago and so far so good. Clarity is solid and the feel of the screen, which is important to me, is smooth . My only problem is that the screen protector gets indents easily, even when I softly press my fingernail against it. I'm not sure if they will work themselves out after a while, but I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker since the product is still doing its job well.

Unfortunately mine are not clearing up and I'm noticing more appearing Not really noticeable during regular use, just if I look for them but will have to see what the next few weeks brings...
I would advise anyone who is unsure to get an HD Clear screen protector. I've never really liked my husband's anti-glare very much. I think it takes away from the screen quality.

So it started off well enough but what I noticed is that over time it continued to pick up more and more marks in the protector which never healed and now it's starting to peel up on the edges. Time to find another brand or just go naked since they give us one free screen replacement.
Posted in the glass thread but I am pretty satisfied with this so figure I would share....
If anybody is looking for Zagg quality (plastic glossy) screen protectors I will recommend the XtremeGuard wet install. Very easy to install and after 8 hours you will not have any bubbles. I will eventually get a tempered glass version but not right now as it seems the jury is mostly out still. This is a cheap ($1.99) fix. I am super picky on screen protectors and will stand by this guy. It fits exactly edge to edge. Total screen coverage with no overhang.
For reference, I worked at Best Buy (back in the day) and always used Zagg protectors and would say this rivals it for 10% of the price. Definitely worth a try for those feeling adventurous with the wet install. I hate the crappy dry installs..

Still waiting for that tempered glass as well. I bought an hd screen protector from ebay, which left a bubbly mess... so now that Im waiting for the next brand to come in the mail, I've been going with no screen protector, and it's sooooo much better. I'm just going to have to be super careful not to drop. Not sure that I'll ever be able to use a device with a screen protector again after this.

The 'HD' dry installs are always bubbly messes. I guess that's why they sell them in packs of 6. I will never go back to them regardless if they are a name brand like Xtremeguard.
I really don't like screen protectors in general but use my phone at the gym and don't trust myself. The wet install is a solid protector until a good tempered glass comes out.

Hm, I've had some fair luck with the dry install ones. As long as you do it properly, most brands are pretty good. my favorites are tech armor and amfilm, personally, although amfilm doesnt have a screen protector for the turbo, seemingly.

Glossy VS Matt screen protector Ipad?
I noticed there are two types. For the ipad which is better ( i generally use it at home, sometimes take it outside). Whats the difference and which ones better?

If you take it outside, the anti-glare screen protectors will help with sun rays and glare on your screen, but you DO lose some quality of the image. HD will just be a clear piece of plastic that protects the screen, but fingerprints and glare are a bit more of an issue.

Dazzling white vs Titanium Bronze

hello folks!
So I'm about to receive the titanium bronze Samsung galaxy tab s 8.4 and will have 14 days to make an exchange. I went to the store the other day and had a comparison with the texture of Titanium bronze vs dazzling white. So I made a little scratch test with my finger nails on the demos and the white can barely see any scratches being made while the bronze can definitely see scratch marks made. Despite this I was wondering what other pros/cons for these back covers have? I'm most likely am going to have a skin protection for the front/back of the tablet because I want to protect any scratch marks and finger prints in case. Does anyone know of any good skin protection out there? Is ZAGG any good? I'm also looking for book cases that can make the tablet stand at a 45 degree, cover the front and back for extra protection. I welcome all feedbacks and recommendations
I recommend the tempered glass screen protectors. I have one on mine. Just like the original screen.
I'm not able to scratch my back, what you using keys?
Tbh i think its pointless buying a nice tablet like this if all youre gonna do is completely cover it up and put another glass screen/protector in front of it. Making it look crap and spoiling the experience until you sell . Samsung could have done that themselves, but who would have bought it then?
Phones and covers yes, screen protectors no. In my experience screens dont get scratched/damaged unless you really abuse the device.
I have the Samsung simple cover and it compliments the tab s perfectly. Dont wanna hide that nice back.

I was able to make scratch marks that were apparent in the bronze and the scratches were easily visible if you were to take a real close look at it. If my nails can make a scratch mark out of it, i'd best be putting a screen protector on the back too : )

I use the genuine samsung simple cover, but i have seen a book cover which is remarkably like the samsung one for way less.

I beg to differ about using glass screen will make it look crap, im using a brando rounded edges tempered glass and it adds to the beauty, now it looks like a giant note for with glass screen tapered smoothly through the side. And i forgot it's even there. It would be easy/cheaper to replace a tempered glass rather than the whole digitizer when you got it scratched.
Also using a smart cover free from sammy when i bought minde. Serves its purpose.
On aother note, be carefull on thr faux metallic bronze side. It's so soft that a little bump with an edged object will leave its mark.

Thank god I thought I was the only person going crazy here because I definitely felt as if the titanium bronze's back cover was easy to make a mark on it(be it from scratch, smudge, etc). But I'm one of those fanatics where I need to first get a protector on the tablet before I even begin to use it haha. I've been seeing a lot of 'tempered glass screen protectors' than before, is it the best type of protector out there atm? Is it like in between glass and plastic? I've also had plastic screen protector or skin protector as some would call it, on my phone and have had no issues, no corner peels or as much finger prints to none, clear and see through but I do want to keep up to date of the current protection of phones/tablets. What are some benefits of the tempered glass protector have? All I really care about really are the smudges like finger prints, corner peels, no dust, no bubbles, scratch resistant of course and most importantly clear/see through.

I am the same way. I always have a screen protector ready for when I get a new phone or tablet. I like to keep my electronics in good shape. Have switched to the tempered screen protectors a while back and can definitely say it is well worth it. I use to alway buy square trade warranty for my phones but have stopped since using the tempered screen protectors. The screen is really the most valuable piece to protect. I can attest that the tempered glass really works. Both of my daughters have dropped their phones and the tempered screen protector shattered but the screen on the phone did not. Thus well worth the investment. A normal screen protector would have done nothing to absorb the impact. Anyway, I highly recommend them. Also, check reviews and different brands on Amazon. You don't have to spend an arm an a leg on these. I paid $8 for iCarez for my G3 and girls iPhones. Just as good as Zagg which people pay $40 - 50 dollars for. As far as the Galaxy tab S, I also added one due to the size of the tablet. I am not using a case since I have the matching keyboard. I have not had a tablet this large before so was definitely concerned about dropping it. Picked up the Skinomi tempered glass. A bit more at $23 but quite a bit larger screen as well.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting a tempered glass protector from Skinomi because of their life time replacement warranty : )
I made another thread discussing about the skin protections of Skinomi for the back covers.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal.../skinomi-skin-protector-carbon-fiber-t3019907
Carbon fiber, Wood and Brushed... but unfortunately no reviews anywhere

I also picked up their clear back skin. Just got so can't comment on it yet. Again, this is the clear back. As mentioned, I have the matching keyboard so I am using this without a case on. I wanted to make sure the back at least had something on to prevent from potential scratches and dings. Not as good as standard case, but better than nothing at all.

Clear skin would be a good idea but I don't know if it has grid-like pattern that allows air bubbles to escape just like the wood/brushed/carbon skins have. But yeah, I guess i'll be the guinea pig to test it out, still debating carbon fiber/brushed. I'll write a review and show pics of it when I order it and have everything set up ready
Didn't know there are hardware differences between the two. I got myself a white Tab S because that's what was on sale at the moment. I'd buy it in any color other than pink.

Anyone going to go bare without a screen protector?

I pre ordered my note 8 with Verizon and it came in yesterday!
I have the spigen kick stand case on it now. Got it from Amazon prime for 17 bucks and it's great. Makes the phone easier to handle.
I have the cheap plastic screen protector that came on the phone in the box. Really can't decide on a screen protector. I hate the wet application ones and the dry adhesive tempered glass always bubble. Thinking about going raw....any one else?
I'm supposed to get mine tomorrow but none of my accessories are here and I ordered the phone after the accessories. I wouldn't do it only because of some of the complaints of the s8 and scratches on the screen. There's some screen protector that I'm gonna try that is supposed to be a hybrid between regular protectors and tempered. Hopefully I can order that soon but I'm gonna have to use the one in the box or a temporary tempered glass on it

I am,in place of a screen protector,I'm using a liquid sealer.
Here's one that's relatively inexpensive:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/NanoBlot-Liquid-Screen-Protector-Phone/165968396
https://www.walmart.com/ip/NanoBlot-Liquid-Screen-Protector-Tablet/112875380
And another that costs a bit more, but, good for several applications:
https://www.nanoflowx.com/spraygard
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nanoflow-X-...tector-PROTECTS-UP-TO-16-PHONES-/172590962858
Do these sealers work?
That's debatable, but,I've been using several different brands for about two years & while it is impossible to prove a negative I haven't had a single blemish on any of my phones for 2+ years.
Do not mistake this stuff as an equal replacement for a screen protector,it's merely providing scratch resistance, nothing in regards to breakage.
I don't recommend these sealers to everyone, especially to those who are prone to exposing their phones to scratching (using the phone w/dirty fingers/exposed to the elements/dropping/typically careless in regards to pocketing/pursing with items that may scratch on a regular basis,etc...)
I don't baby my phone, but,I do take care to keep it in a pocket holster while @ work & in a neoprene sleeve most other times.
For me,a screen protector is not necessary,so,I use a sealer for added protection against scratching.
Some think they're snake oil & TBH,I don't blame 'em,but,I loathe screen protectors as a whole,less a perfectly installed factory one,as w/the Huawei Mate 9,you'd be hard-pressed to notice.
I wish a factory-installed protector was an option, perhaps I'd be more inclined to use one, provided it didn't have the looks akin to a protective bra on a car circa 1980-1990.........................

With my first Note 7 I used Sharkproof "snake oil" and like you was very careful with daily handling. For the 4 weeks (!) i had my first Note 7 I had no issues. The only issue I had was that Sharkproof made the screen too slippery. For my third Note 7, the second was a swapped device from Samsung which went on eBay, I used Samsung's OEM screen protector. On the whole this was a great option as the S Pen worked well and was more effective than gel/TPU type and I managed not to waste money searching for the holy grail of the tempered glass solution. For the Note8, Samsung have not made available their own screen protector.
EDIT : And so for the Note8, I'm going to have to waste money on TPU/Gel like protectors until Samsung....

You would have social services take my phone in to protective custody, if you saw how I treated it.
Was just looking at my S7E screen, thinking "that's actually
pretty good, for its age". Then remembered I smashed it and had it replaced a month ago.
I have a case on it now...
My problem with screen protectors: Every one I've used has looked and felt worse than the micro scratches it might prevent.

LMFAO,you sound like one of my friends from my youth who handled LP's as if they were Frisbee's on a good day & more like a Zildjian on a drum solo..... ?
Does the S8 have the same gorilla glass the Note 8 will have?
I was so hopeful that i could forego the screen protector on this one but from reading this thread i doubt it.
Last note I had was the 4 and i had the screen crack on me.
no matter how many people say they got no scratches, never go without protector. they are either blind, lie or can't place the phone in right angle to see those scratches.
i always buy protectors because of the scratches and not because the screen could crack.
on my s4 which has gorilla glass 3. i haven't had a protector for the last year after using always the same protector 3 years before.
since then there aren't any hard scratch on the display or anything but i notice alot of fine micro scratches but only when i put heavy light on it and hold it in the right angle.
i have used it much, but mostly at home and also kept care of it. still it happened.
as far as i know and have read this isn't any better on the newest gorilla glas 5. so i will not risk anything and keep on using protectors.
for the note i just simply can't find anything good.
whitestone dome on the s8 was good, but overpriced, not friendly for every case, popped up after a few months or just cracked very fast.
not good enough for this kind of money otherwise it would be good is guess.
all other glass protectors are useless since they only stick to the sides and will force problems like bad touch, dirt underneath or popping up very fast.
then there are wet tpu protectors which i don't like. they are too thin and flexible. they just don't feel right, leave marks quickly and often got a yellow touch or rainbow effect.
also they will probably not stick long on the edges and are mostly not case friendly even if they say so.
so the only thing which i consider are the good old school tpu/pet protectors which are applied without any water or so.
i hope they will stick good on the edges and if they are case friendly nothing will pop up.
it's a little bit harder to get all the bubbles out but i rather put some time into placing the protector right and remove the bubbles then buying every few weeks a new one or even go without any.
of course they will also feel kinda cheap like plastic (it is plastic afterall) but atleast they are not so thin and flexible like the wet tpu ones.
for now i will try this one and hope it will be good. if not well then im fuc*ed cause i can't find anything else!! (

Bare always feels great!
However, the cuts and scratches really detract. Insurance will not cover that as normal wear and tear. So, for the first time, I'm wrapping mine up. hehe
Bought 9H screen protector. If it's not as "Sensitive" I can always take it off.
