2wcr - kernel with 2-way call recording
I can't make 2-way call recording.I've tried to use Total Recall, but not working.
Got to do some modding in the kernel...I think?
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Any developer using call recording program?

So many kernel developers, but no one doing something about our problem.
I've got HTC One with the same kind of ****(can't record a call - 2 way recording)but the developers solved it for over a month...i think.
Can you do the same for HTC Desire C
Please:good:
Coucou!
I have the same need. Nobody can do something for us?

Just a though.
Does ICS (4.0.3) have call recording files existing and possibly enabled somewhere?
So are there any change to get call recording to SGS running ICS (porting from compatible device to sgs or so)?

as far as i know call recording on SGS worked only on 2.1 :|
although i'd be extremely happy if it weren't true

If you can be a little more specific on your setup (rom, kernel, rooted or not, etc) perhaps a dev can help you out!
So, now i have seen people are trying to port from Pico, but as far as i can see that's not working out...
Maybe, there are other similar devices that it is easier to port from...
I was wondering maybe the OneV? Maybe some older devices?
I am dying for CM, doesn't matter if CM9, 10 or 10.1...
Maybe i'm going to port something myself, it's about time i learn ROMing
thx
One V should also work

the one v should normally work.
But i personally think the pico is the best for developing cm9 or 10
I was working on this and ported wi-fi audio and camera from pico without luck so i am going to start developing again and hopefully there comes a cm9 or 10 for desire c
I just took all the files out of mujenis version and modified it a litle bit with cygwin still working on it
If you are serious about doing this, could you post updates in a developer thread? thank you.

I am here to help! I don't have a lot of time to do this but I will help.
I took the audio files from pico the boot anim starts working but nothing else
I won't be using pico files no more I will use nameless rom files(desire c)
Try the audio libs from desire V.

That's what I wanted to say, the desire v is like a desirec with faster processor and bigger screen. I wouldn't be surprised if a desire v Rom would work just fine on a c
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
Desire V has like no developers though. Is there even any custom roms? Lol
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
Haven't checked that, I can image
The v is even worse known then the c
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
As far as I know the screen resolution is different on a desire v, so if there was a rom on it, we would need to resize all the apps to our desire c resolution, otherwise non of the apps will look right etc...
Hi again i dont no if its just me but does the htc one loose volume wen upgrading to any 4.2.2 rom on stock 4.1.2 it seemed as tho it was louder playin music on stock 4.1.2 compared to 4.2.2

If im not mistaken.. I have read somewhere.. Its tune down by HTC.. Nothing we can do bout it... Someone correct me if im wrong thanks

I thought the bigger issue was the firmware changing from 1.27 to 1.29 a couple months ago where many say the max volume was dropped. Personally I didn't notice such a dramatic difference though.

Both of these guys ^^^^^ are correct. One of the only ways i know to return it to higher levels is to install a custom kernel that has sound control (Such as Tbaldens Performance Kernel 2.1.4) and install an app (like trickster mod) that will give you the ability to control these levels. See attached pics.
AT&T HTC One | ARHD 12.0
Tbalden Perf Kernel 2.1.4 UV/OC/UC
Thanks for reply lads it cleared slot of things if htc felt as tho the sound needed reajusting then im fine with that  and thanks for the reply and may i ask whats the best settings to use on trickster??

Indeed, I was also interested when HTC lowered the volume. Again I can't speak from personal experience on this but there was a lot of talk about popping from the speakers initially which you don't hear as much about now. Perhaps it was for the better Still, awesome to know we can go back if we want

Hi all,
I flashed the [ROM] CM10.1 AOSP 4.2.2 Jellybean [KANG] [July-23]. Sometimes when I make a call or answer a call, the person on the other end cannot hear me. I would have to call them back, then it works. Does anyone have this issue? Thanks everyone.

After a reboot... Call your voicemail... Wait for it to pick up... Then hang up...
