Does anyone have a pack that has S Pen applications like S Note and S Memo on custom ROMs?
EDIT: I use Paranoid Android 3.10 on JellyBean 4.2.2
They only work on TW roms.

Is there another application that I can use to instantly edit the captured pictures?
NO.
By the way, Papyrus is a fine replacement for SNote.
There is apps on the market than can do all these. Search what feature you want and download.
Search Spen or "S pen"

Papyrus is great and all, but the lines aren't as smooth as S Memo. I know this is a necro post, but someone may be interested. Papyrus IS a great and free app, but it leaves something to be desired in fluidity. Still better than TW, IMO.
I had the same issue. But I converted the notes files into text format and upload to Google Keep app, which is available in play store.
Copy all snotes files to PC and rename the extension to .zip or rar format. Then open the archive files to find thumbnail jpeg and type the contents in notepad and copy to Google keep

There is handwrite, papyrus and others...
I found to be the best "freenote" and color note
somehow have better accuracy
Is there a way to get my S Notes from my Samsung account somewhere? From the PC? I'm using an AOSP ROM, and I want to get my S Notes back. Is there a way, or would I have to flash a TouchWiz ROM to resynchronize them?
If u have not wiped internal memory then u can find snotes files there. Once found then follow the above said procedure

...there is , try Adobe PhotoShop Touch. I've heard a lot of hype about Papyrus...Give "Write" a try - has more of the awesome S Note options, like the ignore hand/palm thing, so you can write like most ppl normally do, w/o you're whole hand in the air.
Papyrus is good... some features like the true eraser and export to dropbox are premium features that don't cost that much.
I prefer write as it offers a lot of functionality.
You can also use Evernote

Umm...I highly doubt it. It is just a launcher. If you want Samsung apps and a samsung UI why not get the Vibrant or SGS4g?

I have no clue what qwerty remocon is, but the Nexus S should have the same DLNA compatibility as any other SGS phone so its just a matter of finding an app or modifying AllShare to work on the SNS

That is most likely true and it sounds like you need a TouchWiz phone :/
I like this phone much better than my former vibrant. I only asked because those galaxy variants have some great features. None would be worth going back to touchwiz proper and rfs and lag fixes, etc. Still, getting some hacked touchwiz framework to allow the installation of those great codecs and some of the apps another poster listed would be the best of both worlds, especially since this phone has MOST of the same hardware.

Needs a bookmark sync to be the winner
If only this had a bookmark sync or some way to import from firefox/chrome. Other than that this is definitely my favourite browser!
agreed about the import of bookmarks, I have been trying to do it for a while, found the .db file that holds the info but no real fast way of doing it batch style. Also the link to the original thread is down, Emailed the app developer about this. I would be using this for my galaxy note 10.1, found this thread on the google machine, not much about this app but I like that it has flash support

Here's an add-on to import from Firefox =) it's in the market too under tint browser add-ons. Holo is based on tint and it's basically just an updated version of it.

There is Tiny apps, that you can find on the play store in two flavours: paid and free. ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ragingtools.tinyappslite).
It is a collection of 5 floating small apps: note keeper, drawing app, calculator, voice recorder and music player, that can be opened on top of other running app to have them handy when you are doing something and need to quickly do something else.
You can activate every single tiny app by means of a widget.
I've bought the paid version and used the app for some week before deciding that they were not so much essential to me.
I think they work well and do what they are supposed to do, even though Qslides are probably more refined, from a graphical point of view.
I used them on a 10.1 CM. In the play store there is nothing written about the compatibility with CM 10.2, so if you want to try them out, you'd better start with the "light" unpaid version, first.

This is directed to all who know something about java and in this particular case smali.
Is it possible that dialer, contacts and sms stock apps take so much seconds to open ? We also have a bug into stock launcher about apps that disappear from folder if them are installed on the second storage and keyboard is very slow..
Well this is the point: is someone (with the knowledge) interested on trying to improve those apps? I know that there are alternative apps but the intent is improving the stock ones, if it is possible. All working methods are appreciated!

I use Email for work heavily. Can someone please let me know? TIA!
I just checked and my note 3 is the same as my note 4, which do not look like gmail. Can you post a screen shot?

Because the Note doesn't use the Google stock email app. Samsung built their own based off of AOSP,
It's ugly, and the fonts are HUGE, but at least it has split-screen mode in landscape. If you don't like it, there's a lot of other email apps out there.

Thanks! But this sucks - it's like going back in time!
Thread moved to Q&A - please post in the correct sections - thanks.
You can install any other email app you want. If you want to take advantage of the Samsung features though, you'll need to use the ugly one.
Since I got this phone Gmail no longer works for me now. So im force to use the default mail client.
