Let's Find Out the Minimum Amount of Services Needed to Run the Gear and Save Memory! - Samsung Galaxy Gear

Hi there!
Yesterday, I've received (quite late, I know!) my Galaxy Gear SM-V700 and proceeded to pair it to me Note 3 running stock 4.2.2.
What I first noticed after touching the phone with the NFC cradle, was that a GAZILLION of things started installing: Gear Manager, Update 1, more than a couple of progresses bar (each installing several stuff), plugins, Samsung App client, Samsung Apps update, Samsung Account, Samsung Account update, Gear1 plugin., etc. etc.!
A lot of applications and services were needed. All the "Apps" suite (Samsung Apps, Samsung Account and their updates) were required to install apps to the Gear. Since there are very few apps for the watch, I installed all I would ever need and proceeded to freeze that suite again without any negative implications to the Gear utilization (or the Gear Manager)
The thing is that for the daily usage, many services were added that are running all the time. My idea would be to:
1) Freeze those that are not needed or are used for features I don't use/care of the Gear (i.e. S Voice, Pedometer)
2) If not possible to freeze, just Greenify the most possible apps without affecting daily usage
So, this is what the Gear left on my device:
APPS/SERVICES THAT RUN AT STARTUP (WITH THE BOOT_COMPLETED INTENT)
ConnectionManager: com.sec.android.service.connectionmanager
Gear1 Plugin: com.samsung.android.gear1plugin
goproviders: com.samsung.accesory.goproviders
NSyncProvider: com.samsung.android.notiproviders.applicationmanager
Samsung Accesory Service: com.samsung.accessory.core
saproviders: com.samsung.accesory.saproviders
APPS/SERVICES INSTALLED (AS IN TITANIUM BACKUP)
TextTemplateProvider 2.3.0
SANotiProvider 1.0.9.42
NSyncProvider 1.021
Gear1 Plugin 1.7.052101
saproviders 2.0.87
goproviders 2.0.87
WeatherProvider 140521.01_2.0.18
Update Gear software 2.140442.2011
ConnectionManager v 1.1.10
SAFileTransferCore 2.0.18.4.1
Samsung Accesory Service 2.14.41
Gear Manager 2.1.14052101
APPS/SERVICES ALREADY EXISTING IN THE DEVICE
AccuweatherPhone2013.apk
WeatherWidgetDaemon.apk
GREENIFY
Check all of these and each of their memory usage! :crying:

To sum it up, my idea would be to know what every app/service affects on the Gear functionality, so each of us could freeze/Greenify those that we don't care for.
The best would be to be able to freeze them, but if this is not possible, at least Greenify them so the "shut down" when the phone is not in use (of course, without breaking the required Gear functionalities!)
I'll do my part and start testing with freezing each of them and check the most possible combinations to see what they do and report back. If possible, please help me out with these by testing that by yourself so we could find out these faster.
Thanks in advance
EDIT:
RESULTS (I'll update this section as I reach more conclusions)
APPS/SERVICES THAT CAN BE FROZEN
AccuweatherPhone2013.apk, WeatherWidgetDaemon.apk: if you don't want the weather to show neither on the clock face or the Gear weather app. Also needed for Accuweather Widget on the phone

Thanks, great find!!

[Q] Mystery "streaming media" app using data

Hey all,
Droid 3 using Minimoto 1.7 (Safestrap install) here. I've been using the phone as normal for almost a year before this happened -

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Can anyone help me figure out what this "streaming media" app is? I was using the internet as normal one day and suddenly I noticed it had gulped 100MB in a very short time. At that point I thought it might have been the Youtube app (which Advanced Task Killer reported was running in the background) streaming crap so I deinstalled the app (also turned off 'allow apps from unknown sources'), rebooted the phone, and very carefully browsed for a bit while checking the data usage frequently. Suddenly it had taken another 130 MB.
I only have 500MB per month which is my only non-work internet access and I watch it like a hawk. This "thing" has now eaten half of that. Extremely annoyed!
Right now the only thing I have installed that might be considered "streaming media" is Soundcloud, which I haven't even run in a couple months. I'm getting worried about malware, etc. as I have no idea what this is nor what it's doing. I've never seen that show up in the data logger before. BTW the data logging app is My Data Manager but I have confirmed the extra data use appears on my bill, i.e. it is 'real' data and not just a bug in the app. I have "auto update apps" turned off in the Play Store and the "system updates" screen comes up blank (didn't think Minimoto would 'pull in' updates anyway?)
Also, I put my SIM card back in my old phone (HTC Dream running Android 1.5) and it works just as it always did with no unexplained data. At this point I don't want to get the Droid online at all for fear that it would gobble up the rest of my data and go over. (I thought of running something like Avast or Malwarebytes but it seems they are only legitimately available from the play store which means the phone must be online - argh!)
Any help appreciated - thanks in advance!

[Q] System apps safe to delete?

Hello fellow XperianSP's ...
I noted that there are so many system apps that I don't actually use, or apparently do not use.
Take, for instance. Xperia™ with Flickr. I already have the Flickr app, and the latter allows me greater control of uploading. So, I do not need that app, right?
Also, the Xperia Link™ app. The description on Play Store explicitly said that it's used to connect the SP with an Xperia Tablet or Vaio PC, neither of which I have. So, it should be safe to remove, no? My laptop can satisfactorily tether (via WiFi) to the SP anyways.
If you have a list of system apps safe to delete -- or, at the very least, freeze using Titanium Backup -- I'd be very grateful if you share.
TIA!

IF I HELPED YOU PRESS THE THANKS BYTTON
Here is a detailed list
It explains which can be removed safely and the description of each one...
Some apps may not be there so you'd better check out the list that @greek_assassin mentioned above.
Thanks for the input, people!
I'm chronicling my de-bloatware-ing experience in the following Google Docs spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1F2JE_HWBRkp3yUhDUwGeK5Pl2I4fOQCRL0cPvEmn5HU/edit?usp=sharing
I'll continually update the spreadsheet as I go beyond Freezing to Uninstalling and/or finding more apps to Freeze/Uninstall.
(Do note that the list might not exactly match stock ROM because I'm running eXistenZ Ultra 3.3.0)
Can try System App Remover. It gives some recommendation on what can be removed (but you can remove more!).

Yes
I had already deleted some bloatwares from my phone.and its safe and beneficial to RAM also..Some of the Sony apps are eating RAM very much.
And eating battery also.
So removing bloatwares helps to Device perfomence better.

Undoubtedly. Of that, I have no objection.
The question was: Which bloatware apps are safe to remove.
As I've written above, and will now repeat, I'm doing experimentation through trial-and-error, and sharing the results for the world via this Google Drive spreadsheet:

Found a way to actually open up some of the Evenwell apps using secret codes

I've spent a great deal of time trying to assess what these Evenwell apps do and have managed to open up a few using secret codes taken from the apps manifest.
1) Use this code on your phone dialler - *#"#3277#*#* it's for Stability Monitor app. This app from the looks of it is designed to send Nokia/Evenwell log reports from ANR crashes, boot reports amongst other things. By opening up the Stability Monitor app, you can actually choose to send yourself all the reports instead of them being uploaded to a server by periodically having zip files saved on your SD card! Very useful indeed.
2) *#*#666#*#* - EMM app. Yes one of the most hated of Evenwell apps that stays running constantly unless you're prepared to use ADB commands. You can manually set up CPU, GPU and DRAM Governors as if you have a rooted phone! You can either switch them off entirely or have them in use at your options. The option2s are switch off, default, screen or heavy app. There are even options for when force stop apps occur and something called dropcache.
You can also see all current app processes and even what EMM considers to be whitelisted apps. Surprisingly it doesn't consider Google Play Services to be whitelisted which answers my own question about why I would get popups to say the app stopped. There is even a way to manually add an app to the whitelist but I have not been successful with this yet as I am not as technically gifted as most people in here.
I will see about uploading some images to the net so I can post here of actual screenshots as I have not made 10 posts yet here so I cannot upload direct from my phone.
There are a few others I've discovered I can open and will update here as soon as I work out what each app does and what you can do on them when you open them up.
I would appreciate some technical assistance with regards to the EMM app as so far by making my own amendments, all I've done is heat my phone up so high I struggle to pick it up! If anyone can test out the CPU, GPU & DRAM Governor options to see which are the best, please update here.
*EDIT* Here's a link to the album I created here to post screenshots -

[SOLVED ]XPrivacyLua Pro - "Buy feature" greyed out

Hi,
I had to reinstall my whole phone. I already purchased the feature to enable hooks for apps in XPrivacyLua Pro before installing everything new.
Now I want to enable my hook again and now the "buy this feature" context menu is appearing but both items are grey, what shall I do?

Solution was to uninstall and reinstall the app from PlayStore.
I had restored a backup from the app with data, maybe thats the reason, why it didn't work.
How can check xprivacylua working correctly? Ex: i pick an app note, block it access clipboard, then test clipboard will be empty in that app, right?

The app isn't available on the Play Store anymore. And if I install the APK manually, it still has the same issue.
True.
I have the same.
DL: https://bitbucket.org/M66B/xlua-companion/downloads/
On or after July 12 the pro companion app will be removed from the Play store by Google because it uses the permission QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES. I am not going to try to provide a justification for this permission because Google will most likely reject it anyway because an app is not allowed to directly or indirectly have an effect on other apps, which is the whole purpose of XPrivacyLua.
This means that the pro companion app will only be available outside of the Play store after July 12. Pro feature purchases will keep being recognized as long as the app is kept installed, but it won't be possible to install the app again after it has been removed from the Play store by Google.
Note that it is not allowed to use Play store purchases without/outside of the Play store. So, I can't transfer or exchange a Play store purchase for anything else because it would mean violating the agreement I have with Google as a developer, which could have consequences for the other apps published in the Play store (FairEmail and NetGuard).

[CLOSED][APP][XPOSED][6.0+] XPrivacyLua - Android privacy manager [UNSUPPORTED]
XPrivacyLua Really simple to use privacy manager for Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later (successor of XPrivacy). Revoking Android permissions from apps often let apps crash or malfunction. XPrivacyLua solves this by feeding apps fake data...

horrible battery consumption s20 fe exynos disable apps options power consumption

How about friends trying to find a solution to the high battery consumption of these teams with exynos I would like to delve a little more into this topic because it is not completely clear to me...
What would happen if I choose the apps that seem to me to go in the inactive category and those that go in the always inactive category... BUT I don't activate the first option to put unused apps inactive....
What is the function of the first option? It is so that I put them automatically from what I see... But if I don't activate it but I still choose the category of inactive and always inactive apps... Does it fulfill the function? Or why does the first option always have to be activated?

also within location I saw that in the section to always allow location all these apps appear. Can't you disable or uninstall some?
I have the phone with nova launcher and many apps inactive always and so on and everything continues to be enough for me and with rest too
I have the phone with nova launcher and manual brightness, also many applications in always inactive mode and it continues to spend the same. I even see many apps that force the stop to remove permissions and I don't open them anymore and they continue to generate consumption. What happens if I disable these applications with adb:
*quick share agent
*wireless emergency alert
*android car
*authentication framework
*bixby vision
*bixby voice
*find my mobile
*continuity service mde service framework
*meta app installer, meta app services, meta app manager
*samsung text to speech engine
*private share
*quick share
*bixby routines
*samsung editing assets
*samsung free
*samsung galaxy friends
*samsung visit in
*customization service
*sticker center
If you want to find out, do it safely, i.e. backup first.
All you need is a PC and >ADB AppControl<.
