[APP] Network Dashboard - shortcuts to connectivity

This app is about the same as Connectivity Shortcuts but when we run app from shortcuts on homescreen and on/off connectivity (eg. WiFi) doesn't go back to the app but go back to homescreen (Connectivity Shortcuts in the same situation go back to the app, not homescreen). For me this app is better as Connectivity Shortcuts.

it also looks so much more metro. it's sleeker. (and i suggest people go listen to the latest podcast at WPDevPodcast.com for some more info about the app.)

I suggest people also read the comments on the podcast as it clears up the whole situation. The shortcuts were developed independently, dashboard is more refined in the current version.

I'm not sure, but perhaps this is not possible.

It would be great to show BT/Wifi status (on/off) directly on Live Tile. Should be possible on Mango.

I agree with Radek Hulán. It will be great to show BT/Wifi status (on/off) directly on Live Tile. Would it be possible to modify it?

Version 1.1 is already in marketpalce. You can update app, but must remove old shorcuts from homescreen because new version shows status connection "live tile" (shortcuts from old version don't).

Only status of Wifi and Data Connection can be displayed by these Apps as there is no interface to query Bluetooth or Airplane Mode-State.

windows phone 7 marketplace v1.6.3 does not find it to download the XAP file on my desktop
I can only download from my phone marketplace to install directly but cant get my hands on the XAP that way so I can look at the inside of it & change icons

It's very strange, because I can download XAP of this application. I use 3Mktplace, not marketplace. If you want, I can send you app to PM, after I wake up today.

there is a screen that keeps coming up in both free & trial version
it needs to be removed saying:
"Thank you for using Lightning Dial. Tap the Back button to return to the home screen"
free & trial app users should accept the Ads..but this screen is annoying & unnecessary as after you use an icon, you should go straight back to home screen

Lightning Dial - New Version
Hi guys,
I am the developer of Lightning Dial, the first app in this thread.
Thank you for posting it here, especially in a thread called "Best apps collection..."
I will soon make its own thread in this forum where everyone will be able to suggest new features, report bugs and discuss it. I still cannot do that because I am a new user and cannot post links, but this will soon pass.

Quad is the quickest way to launch applications.
The first version of the beta is simple, you have access to a T9 or regular keyboard to filter apps, and 3 options to sort your apps.
With this two features, you will be able to launch your apps faster.

Install shortcut is used to put a shortcut of an app on the homescreen

You asked us what Quad is ? At first, we deliberately gave you no information in order to gather your spontaneous feedbacks. So, what is Quad ? See this post...
Quad stands for "QUick App Drawer"
First, you can sort your app list. Depending on your needs you can sort them by recent activity, by amount of launches, by download date or simply by names. All your favorite apps are brought to you effortlessly.
But what about all your other apps, the ones you launch once or twice in the week? With Quad you'll be able to found and launch an app very quickly by using the predictive keyboard.
For example, type "758" to find and launch Plume for Twitter
Why is it so fast ? Because most of the time, only one or two keys will be enough to find the app you need.
With time, Quad learns the apps you use the most and gives them a better rank when you perform a search.
For us, Quad aims to replace the default drawer. Thus, we added its basic features. With a long press, you'll be able to quickly reach actions to perform on your apps like uninstalling them, sending shorcuts on the homescreen, viewing their details or opening them in Play Store.
These features are only the first steps, Quad improvement is still in progress and that's why we need your feedbacks.
In the future we'll add more cool stuff and it may go beyond apps launching... So, keep in touch!

I like the floating window in your new version! Strangely it's position is moving if I start an app from within the launcher. Moreover it would be cool if the it could be disabled in running apps. Sometimes it's on the wrong place, like the keyboard. Maybe it would be helpful if it could only be activated for the homescreen?

thanks for your answer! I like your improvements very much but with the double tap function there is a catch. When I'm typing fast on the dialpad, the floating window is closing. I think you should remove that feature. Anyways I like it :good:

There's indeed an issue that has been fixed in development. This fix will be available in the next beta.

Just wanted to kudos you people for this awesome app, just missing 'use as launcher' 'force orientation' and 'direct call to a number' options, with those you can replace 3 or 4 default apps, just with this one.. well maybe making it a bit faster could be good too
Right now I'm using Xposed's module App settings to force portrait orientation and Target Home Launcher to use it as home launcher, but best would be having those options in the app.

I would tweak how it handles ads because i got a full screen add that I couldn't remove until I clicked on it and then redirected me away from the app. (While this may sound great, having a 100% click through rate is suspicious and you wont get paid =P )
I will attach a screen shot. just giving a heads up about the full screen ad

The fmradio app does not allow installation.
I use, Android Nougat.
