Apus Launcher - ONE Themes and Apps

Ive tried many launchers and some are better than others , right now Im trying out the Apus launcher for my opo and I gotta say I like it , its very simple , the way I like it ~

Looks interesting. Will give it a try.

BUZZ launcher is awesome as well!

Link to the launcher OP is mentioining, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apusapps.launcher&hl=en

i like aviate.. its similar have some good in build widgets too

Nova
Nova Launcher stil the best

Good launcher but doesn't work well with lower than the system's DPI. No third party icon packs (Belle UI is awesome), the desktop grid can't be changed, can't scale up the icons. Good launcher if you are running stock.
By the way, OPO looks great on around 370 DPI, everyone should give it a try.

what the best low dpi launcher?

So far Apex, Nova and Smart have icon scale up to 170% but the first 2 require a paid version for this feature.
I'm currently using Smart Launcher 2 and I'm happy with it.

If you're not on ART, you could use Xposed and install app settings. This module allows you to set the DPI per app. I personally use 410 and use app settings to set Nova and Apollo to the stock 480. Works splendid for me!
Note: only when you're on dalvik.

Best launcher poll

What's the best launcher for the N7? If other, please specify which one.
In my opinion, I enjoy using NOVA.
Nova

I should've added Go Launcher to the poll.
I've never used a bad launcher. Apex is my current favorite. My least favorite was Go.
*nvm*
Nova for me, just like how they are showing the initiative

completely stock, Jelly Bean!
When using Samsung, HTC phones you become so jealous of the stock android launcher that it becomes an obsession.
Whilst touchwiz and sense offer some things that are better, as a past/current user of these phones, we just want to speed and compatibility that nexus devices can offer.
I don't think I'll ever root & install a custom rom on my Nexus 7, it's sexy, super fast & smooth & just what I wanted.
Enough to make me also consider a Nexus phone as my next phone too.

I use go launcher ex, not the HD tablet version. The one for the phone just works better for me.
I like the paid version of Nova the best, but if I wanted a free replacement I'd go with Apex.
At the moment I like the stock launcher the best. I can't really seem to get either Nova or Apex to look the way I want them to.
Apex for some reason I can't have 6 rows in landscape mode, because the gap between the icons and the labels is larger than normal that the labels end up vanishing with more than 5 rows in landscape.
Also I don't like how the dock bar rotates with the screen.
Nova launcher seems to have gotten better after the recent update, I can move icons easier now. One cosmetic issue that bugs me though is I've turned off the google search bar, however in landscape mode it still shows the divider bar between where the search bar was and the rest of the screen on the left side. I really wish that could be removed.

Currently using apex pro, also use adw pro
But I have pre ordered chameleon which will dominate.

Nova is amazing, and blazingly fast. Very clear difference from Apex, which I used for a few days. Sticking with Nova Pro.
I like sslauncher. Different and loved it on my note as well. Just wished had more themes
From the Note to Nexus 7
Stock is great, using Nova to hide apps and sort apps into folders though, and is just as good
Using Nova Prime. Mimics 4.1 quite well and adds more function. No regrets. The reason I purchased Prime is because I already own Widget Locker and I chose to continue my support for the developer.

Hey there,
I have the next launcher and i'm very pleased with this launcher. He's very smooth and stable with lots of features for adjusting app and so on.. Try this one and i think you will agree with me that this is the one....
o boy..try both... and decide
They are similar but I found Nova better designed.

not all of us have the same settings on our phones so it's best to download and try both - you'll see which launcher suits you best...
I think Apex =)
I found Nova to be both smooth and good looking with many settings but then again... It´s very personal.
Apex

It all comes down to preference
Im using the NOVA launcher and Im very happy with it... of course, the pro version
Nova.....really smoother than apex and the main thing low memory usage....since our O2x ram is bottlenecking i would prefere nova over other launchers....:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I recommend also nova, smoother than apex based on my own observation..
i found nova launcher also smoother on cm10

Apex is better, go here mycolorscreen.com

nova launcher is doing an excellent job right now on JB
I keep switching between nova and launcher7 depending upon the look I want
I confirm : Nova is very smooth
More than trebuchet and Apex !
i think apex is better
but you have to try it on yourself
Nova is much smoother on our phone and allows customizing the app drawer decorations color (the blue underline under tab names) without installing a theme.
It is a nice touch when you use transparency and want to match your wallpaper color.
NEXT Launcher, from the GO team Devs..I never saw better launcher after i installed NEXT..
It's on an early stage though, but there are many things to come, cause GO team will continue build new things for their apks..
Nova and Apex are both very nice launcher, if i have the choise i want use Nova launcher because you have more settings

Which launcher uses the least resources?

I'm currently running ADW EX. It's working well but it gets laggy. Also I know task killers aren't need e d anymore, but with the lack of a recent apps menu I'm wondering if I should install one.I'm on the KFHD 8.9
No opinions on this?
I'm using go launcher HD, it seems more smooth than adw, try it. Greetings! !

Using Nova Launcher here set up with only one home screen and it's buttery smooth.
APEX Launcher
I like the free APEX launcher, is customizable, stable and is not consuming a lot of resources...

This is the "correct" answer.
I've tried ADW, Go, and Nova, and Nova is the smoothest and the lightest (in resource usage) of those 3.
Thanks for weighing in. I'll give Nova a go. Now it's there any way to get task switching going?
AW: Which launcher uses the least resources?
It's not real task switch but still you can easily switch from every app to another.
Called 'swipepad'

I wish nova had a tablet mode. That would make it perfect.

Best Launcher???

Greetings Guy...Wanna know about yours expieriece, wich one culd be the best laucher for the TP???
nova seems the smoothest to me. and of course has plenty of options.
I use Apex, but there are many good ones available. It's a matter of personal preference.
Nova has plenty of options and is quite fast. But the stock one that comes with cm is quite fine too (trebuchet) and if you don't need too much customization is quite similar to nova.
I personally use Nova because I got it for $0.25 during one of Google's sales. It's a good smooth browser with a bunch of customization options. That said, there are a bunch of launchers out there that take a different view on things. There are 3d launchers like Next that run adequately on the TP. Action Launcher has a couple of very nice features that I like as well... but not enough to give up the customization of Nova.
In the end, it really is all up to what you like and what you want. That's what Android is all about. Do you want fancy? Do you want smooth? Do you want customization? Try em all out and see which one you like.
I Like the GO Launcher EX

I have always used Holo Launcher, and now Holo Launcher HD on my touchpad. Lightweight but smooth and responsive.
Not heavy on customization like Nova or Apex.

i have 8.4 lte samsung tab s. which is the best launcher? less laggy (no root)

whats a good launcher to make it faster and other other tips?

Debloating.
Much performance is to be gained by debloating ! Nova Launcher is a launcher I'd be recommending if you're still not happy with the performance gained from the debloat thread.
+1 nova launcher rocks

I've tried a bunch of launchers and went back to nova. It seems most comfortable and least fussy. I need to do less work to get it to look the v way I want. Is it the most innovative and have most neato features? No. But I only want to spend so much time fiddling with my launcher.
I have no issue using stock launcher, works fine for me. maybe i'm used to it.
tried others but then went back to touchwiz

I'm using Apex on all my Android devices. I've tried Nova too and they seem almost identical...so much so I can't quite tell what the differences are.
I'm using nova because it is simple yet fully customizable. Touchwiz was good also but I wanted other icons without the need of an extra apk just to load them.
