Anyone else got lip sync issues on the YouTube app? I've tried uninstall etc but no joy. Any fix would be appreciated . Really irratating as I spend hours on this app !

I had this problem to, I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it but still the same. the problem is the app stops for a second or two and the audio keeps playing. the video resumes
Sadly mine is always about a second apart.
Tried a factory reset but that hasn't solved the problem , beginning to wonder if my s6 has another problem to go with gaps around the screen and poor white uniformity
Any resolution for this?

I had this problem too but after i flashed the latest xsterolite update i don't have it anymore

Hello, I've noticed my Galaxy Gear keeps rebooting randomly. It has no problem when stationary but when I'm driving or walking around it just keeps rebooting. Any help would be appreciated.

Nope everything is stock. Tried to reboot note 3, tried to reboot the gear. Nothing helped. Tried to factory reset the Gear as well, still didn't fix anything.
I'm wondering if it's something with the accelerometer cause it does fine when it's sitting on my desk.
Maybe a faulty unit with a loose battery connection...?

Strange, I would reflash the stock image in ODIN..
Iv had to do this a few times myself, mucking around with system files and bricking my gear

Adam, I had the same issue when i got my watch. I noticed it was randomly shutting off. More investigating revealed that it shut off if moved/wiggled.

Run over to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and search for SM-V700.
Download the most relevant image country/carrier, it doesn't have to match up exactly..

Awesome. Oddly, everytime you do anything on this device it seems you need to rerrot and reapply all of your apps. I just put an entire image on it and it kept everything!
Most importantly, I got my camera back

I think you are right, with one caveat. I just went all day without it happening, I disabled the auto screen wake-up though. I think it doesn't have the motion problem if it's not trying to detect any motion.
What did you do with yours? Get a new one?
Ever find a fix for this? Mine does it even with auto wake up disabled and has been since I got the watch. Thinking I may have to send it in for warranty replacement
Temporary Fix to my Problem
Hey, so I had the same exact problem. It was so bad to the point where if I moved the gear at all, it would shut down/reboot. How I fixed it was I turned it on without moving the Gear too much (a very hard task). I kept it on for two hours without moving it; after, I noticed it wouldn't automatically turn off again while I put it on my wrist. I don't know how this fixed the issue, but at the moment it is working well without shutting off/rebooting. I will update you guys on how the Gear is working in the next few days. Hope this clears up any confusion because I know I was very frustrated.
I have the same proble...randomly reboot and sometimes switching off and i can not switch it on again till i put it into the carging case. When the carging started,i remove the watch from the case and i can switch it on. So i dont think its a hardware issue. Will try to put the tizen system on it.
You guys are correct, the moment motion detection is stopped, this gear SMV700 stops rebooting while walking, driving, moving basically.
There is no precise info on this even firmware upgrade doesn't fix it.
Hey need some help 360photos app on my gear vr for s6 has gotten some extreme lag now with head movement and I have no Idea why? Only app that does it... well cinema does it slightly but 360photos is like I'm tripping hard on shrooms or drank a fifth of vodka and everytime I move my head it's like a blur till I stop my head and it focuses. Does it regardless of Internet connection (turned on airplane mode to see if it was a streaming issue).* Uninstalled 360photos and oculus home neither of which helped me. Only thing I've really tinkered with in the actual vr apps is sideloading downloaded videos into milkvr app. Most of which don't work now that I downloaded the latest update, for some reason. I didn't convert them when uploaded them onto s6 just copied them but still not sure why that would be an issue. Anyone else having this issue or is there anything that I can do to make it clear up the way it was when I bought it. Really don't want to have go through the bulls hit Hassel of resetting my phone. Help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
I have experienced this a few times with my S6. Both times turned out to cause by some third party app. First one was a sense 7 clock widget. After uninstalling, issue went away. Second time was after installing sygic gps. Your issue could very well be the same, some rouge app that was poorly written.

No I got it fixed would say that was it but havn't deleted any apps. I had to go into the dialer enter *#0*# brings up a menu, select scope ( I think, been a few days since I figured it out) and you have to run checks on gyroscope and manually calibarate compass.
I noticed a bug in the YouTube app on my device (note 8 SM-N950F).
while a video is playing if I minimized the movie and then maximized it (quickly few times in a row) the phone crash to boot.
I didn't face any kind of crash in the month I have it except this scenario in the youtube app .

I have had the same thing. It would just randomly crash out and reboot my phone when minimising/maximising videos from the little preview window when scrolling.

I manage to find more info by trying diffrent things. I think maybe it's memory management bug. If the device is fresh from boot with nothing else running then it won't crash. But with some apps open in the background then it always happens. not randomly at all.
Did you solved it?

It happens so rarely that I haven't really done anything about it. It will happen out of the blue one day and won't show up for weeks. I have gone on the Samsung Members app and it detected an unexpected reboot which it reported to Samsung so maybe they will fix it eventually.
Same thing for me. Happened already 3 times. While resizing the window or passing from portrait to landscape.

I have same problem like you. Whenever there is an apps running in the background, it will crash. I happen rarely for me but this week, youtube and instagram crash 4 times already each. Yea most likely its Ram management.

I've checked now and it won't crash. I don't know if it's related but Yesterday I've installed the latest OTA update (which was the first since I've got my unit). Any way it's seems fixed as far as i can see. Didn't do anything except updating all my apps and the unit itself to the latest version available. If it will happen again I'll keep you update.

Same, i also got the first update on my Note8 yesterday too.
Since the oreo update I have problems with smart view when I cast my screen to my smart TV. When the phone screen is on there's no problem but when screen is off the signal becomes unstable losing sound and getting a choppy image. Also now i can't use the phone when casting the screen, on nougat the phone was able to split the screen in order to cast and use another app at the same time. Now on oreo I have this problems, any idea?

I was thinking on a factory reset too... impossible to set smart view on priority or something like that, really don't know how to do. Tried with several browsers and looks that just go fine with video stock and Google movies, did you try with those app?

No I didn't I will on the weekend tho... I have howver tried several appslike netflix, default video app with recorded videos, SMPC and I even installed the periscope app to give live streaming a go (soccer games, yeah!) all of them got choppy after the screen goes dark and maybe 2 -3 mins after the screen sharing starts.
perhaps we'll have to wait on update for those apps instead of blamming it on the update alone?

So it seems that is a oreo problem... I have to say that the problem is less frequent and there is some occasions when idon't have any problem. Really don't do anything specific, just clean cache on stock recovery.

We have to send a report with Samsung members to MAYBE, and just MAYBE, they could say: ah ja, there is a problem annoying our beloved users; lets fix it right now! :silly:
So the other morning I was doing some screen recording for one of my games and I noticed when I finished that I could not get the screen recorder to turn off. so it was at this point that I restarted the phone and when I turned it back on it was stuck on. It wasn't actually recording anything per say however the little white dot that you get for inputs was all over the screen you couldn't get rid of it and you were unable to turn the recorder on or off though red magic time. Now I've only seen one other person have this bug and if you tried to go through red magic for any kind of support to this point than you know why I'm posting here instead of messaging them.
due to issues with the XDA app I was unable to directly upload video of the air so I uploaded it to my YouTube channel so that you guys can be the exact problem I'm having if you haven't experienced it yourself. I've also uploaded a screenshot of the only other person I've seen having this problem statement about it.

I see a lot of South and Southeast Asian users asking for support about getting mobile screen recording sorted out. Are you people who stream on Twitch or some other native service who are trying to make it a career?

i had same issue on my rm3s. only solution i was able to find is a factory reset.

This is a solution I desperately need to avoid lol. I have way too much uncut footage to work with to reset my phone now.
Unfortunately, I have same issue with my RM3 Global ROM. The only thing I could do is to reset to factory settings. I'll loose all my recordings

Use the backup settings in phones settings. I started uploading all my recordings to photos and everything else to drive. Still no word on a solution so today I think I'll do the reset

Alright
So I went ahead just did the reset today guys, fixed the issue for now, and got me a lot more storage space hahaha. So back your photos videos and recordings up to Google drive or the photos app back up your contacts and messages and app data through the backup option in settings and you should be good to go in terms of saving data.
