Device related
* Camera: Google Camera does not work (Camera shutter will not be closed correctly,
'cant connect to camera' message), every other app works fine
* USB: When you use the Mass Storage Feature the first time, you need to enable it!
(Connect to your Computer, Select Mass Storage Option in Notifications
and enable your preffered mode! It is just needed after the first boot).
CM related
* Ringtones only work from internal SD card (not external sd card)
* Hardware encryption not functionally
* Fingerprint sensor not implemented
FAQ
Q: Do the edge features work?
A: No, its a TouchWiz exclusive feature and is NOT implemented in cyanogenmod.
Q: You said something about Termal Engine in HW/Status?
A: Yes, i will release an app in the next days, so you can alter throtteling temps,
Higher temps = better performance, Lower temps, cooler device.
(NEW thermal engine by faux instead of samsung ones)
Q: Where can i find Google Apps?
A: You can download it here: Github RAW (from CyanogenMod).
Installation
1. download the ROM and GAPPS (look into FAQ for gapps download link)
2. do a FULL WIPE
3. flash ROM and, without reboot, Google Apps
4. Reboot

who always helped me out with little advises. I will continue to upload new versions and try to push changes to the
cyanogenmod gerrit to get our device fully supported by cm nightlys. Have fun guys.

Hi,
Sorry if this is a silly question but i just wanted to check,
I know the edge features dont work so does the screen go all the way to the edge as just one screen or is there just a black bar where the edge is?

no, but exynos variant is panned

Thanks for the support!
One question, which variants is this designed for? You mentioned exynos variant is planned. Will this work on all Snapdragon devices? Thanks again!

Work on n9150 ?

only qcom variants, N915F, N915FY, N915G ...
T-Mobile and ATT Variants are untested, but i bet they wont work and you risk bricking the device ...
(better wait for my att and tmo support)

Can you make one for the Sprint N915P variant?

Can I flash it on N9150?

Thank you! Finally a clean version of the best ROM there is. Really appreciate it.
I've got a question: I know the Edge feature is not available for non-TW ROMs, and have been using RessurectionRemix (based on CM12.1) for some time now. However, I always found it annoying to have the Edge screen just enlarge the normal screen - not only makes it the whole Edge feature rather pointless, it also feels really awkward sometimes since that part of the screen is really sensitive to nonintended commands.
What good apps are out there that would replace Edge functionality? What I'm specifically looking for is something that makes it possible to permanently move the main screen content (i.e. the keyboard) away from the Edge screen, and then use that "empty" part of the screen for a sidebar or something like that. I've been looking at a couple of apps and solutions now, but so far haven't been able to find something that allows to permanently occupy the right side of the screen and not just overlap.

I love you for bringing this rom to our phones

bad news ...
i bricked my note edge by flashing one of my custom kernels for cm.
I need to pay 200€ for it, it would be great if someone could help me out so i can continue development :/

No.
So, I am obviously missing something. Every AOSP rom that I try just hangs at a black screen during boot. Never even a boot animation. Running Alliance TW rom just fine in slot 1.
G900V retail (not dev edition).
Can someone clue me in on where my derp moment is here? I'd love to be running CM or Liquid..
Thx.
Edit: After waiting at black screen, I notice that my power button does make the capacitive buttons illuminate, and i am getting some sound too. But black screen.

Can you turn if off again and get a logcat this time? It might be a device specific error hence why it's not happening on mine.
Playing around with it right now, for some reason I can't get the swipe typing on the stock keyboard to work. Not a major issue, the primary way I text, but just an inconvenience.

Yeah I clean flashed the 3/9 build with same issue also getting a weird greenish tint on my phone.. What's the easiest way to get a logcat? Can I just use the built in bug report option to do this?

the easiest way to make a logcat is using applications for it like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nolanlawson.logcat but this is e.g.
also you can do it from terminal (This requires that you install and configure the bridge adb on your pc) or cmd (into pc) run: adb shell logcat > logcat.log
and you can send the .log file
You can find more information in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141817
Will the logcat catch a reason for the theme engine causing a fast reboot whenever I change the icon theme? Or does rebooting cause it to lose the data?

Yes, this ROM is stable. A5 device tree is used because A3 and A5 is very similar so it is fine to use A5 device tree.
However, if there are bugs(other than the ones mentioned in OP), please report and state your A3 variant and provide logs, so the developer can fix them and make a better build.

This is an unofficial port of LineageOS cm-12.1 to our Samsung tab 7.7. I'm a beginner in building custom roms, so please be patient with me. This rom is based on the device tree of DanielHK with small modifications to run smooth with its low memory. Compare to my CM-13.0 - here almost all works - Bluetooth, Kindle app, DRM. I tuned it strongly to get Lollipop fast enough. Still there are some lags starting apps - but it's quite usable - try yourself

Just want to thank you for the work you have done. I installed on my i815 and functions as described. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help get the 4G radio working. I don't know much about building roms but willing to do any testing.

Hi,
I just have registered to say thank you. :good: :good:
I'd like to ask if you know more stable version than this, because the device reboots randomly while browsing or watching videos.
is the device so outdated that it can't be used on daily basis ?
I'm running Cyanogen 12 but it's too heavy, that Rom lightest wheel? Have fixed the bugs?
Great Work .. Thx
Is the device and kernel tree stable? Hoping to *aquire* a tab 7.7 from a generous member on the cite and hybris 12.1 is much nicer to work with than 11.
I would like to thank you bro for the good work.
I think this ROM was the best ive tried for my p6800 out there. There is a few bugs but I dont mind it becouse I'm only using my tab for watching anime.
Support miracast?

WaveOS 4.0 - Rasmalai
WaveOS is an android custom ROM based on AOSP, focused on delivering a perfect blend of aesthetics, functionality and performance out of the box. The version 4.X is based on Android 11. Various optimizations and enhancements have been merged from CAF and upstream AOSP to maximize performance and battery backup, and improve OS functionality. We provide a unique and beautiful user interface out-of-the-box that's inspired by OnePlus' OxygenOS, and can be tweaked to your liking. We've also added handy features and customizations that improves user experience and proves to be useful at the end of the day, rather than bloating the ROM with unwanted features and customizations that could cause stability issues. We hope you like it! #NeverBetter

Not much change. Maybe the same.
Hi, I now have this ROM (see attachment). To install WaveOS do I need to update the firmware or do various downgrades, or can I install the ROM directly following the instructions?
Thx
You've done a great job! I migrated from stock MIUI 10 and I feel the entire system works 10 times faster and better. It seems that everything works properly: radio fm, wifi, 4G, bluetooth, camera photo & video + flashlight, LED indicator, 2DTW, screen rotation, vibration, 3 physical button navigation. Charging and discharging behaves as expected.
At first run I installed all the apps on the internal storage and there was about 3GB of free space left, so I formatted my 16 GB external SD and moved everything to it. Now I have 10GB of free space on my internal memory.
What is working as not expected (WaveOS 4.1):
— Gesture navigation works except the swipe from either the left or right edge to go back (this issue was confirmed by other users on other forums).— Some parts of the firmware are still in English i.e not translated (I'm using italian).— Scrolling screenshot
I really hope you will keep to maintain this firmware because the problems found appear to be at the software level.
As mentioned earlier, swipe actions are not working from both sides. Plus did not find any option to turn off hardware nav keys. Kindly resolve these issues in the next update, hope it will come soon.
By the way, as far as I have experienced installing numerous ROMs in Redmi 4A, this ROM is the smoothest, fastest and beautiful one (no offence what so ever). Aesthetics of the ROM developer is good. It also has decent battery backup, so I will stick to it and wait for bug cleanups.

Hey Thago,
I really liked the Custom Rom that you created. It is very smooth with almost zero lags. There are some times that there is a foreclose e.g. extreme battery saver, but, all in all I really liked it. Great Job!

Hey Thago,
I have installed the ROM and it is perfect. There is only some small inaccuracy in the Italian translation.
Thank you very much
PS. If you tell me where the translation files are I can fix the errors.
