Slim Ghost TPU Cases (Pictures)

I recently bought a few of these cases, very thin and works great. its a hard thin case. Great product from a US seller! I don't even like cases on my phone but this one is so thin its awesome.

I used to have such cases on my sII and note2 really slim and gripy but you have to clean them often or else they will cause damage to your shiny housing especially round the screen bezels:crying:

I ve had them for about a year, my brother had one too same problem on his sII if you clean it you will be ok

Well since the forum got split up here goes..
Just received an email they're available for pre-order on Amazon and will begin shipping in 2-4 weeks,..

the best thing i like about this case so far is that it helps protect the camera lens. make it a bit recessed so it doesn't protrude as much. if i receive it early i will post pics.. i believe the case will be released in one or two more colors, right now it's available in three: Satin Silver, Gunmetal, and Champagne Gold.

Received my phone yesterday. Now just waiting on my Neo Hybrid. ?

I picked up the Heavy Duty case and got it already. Seems like a pretty nice case. I'll post pics with it before it's on the phone and after when I get the phone from Sprint hopefully on the 10th.

Here are the images with the case.

I have the Spigen Thin Fit (http://amzn.com/B00SV63DKE) in gun metal, and I am very pleased with it. Ordered from Amazon and have been using it on the phone since the 1st of this month.
When I received it it felt as if the phone was "rattling" around in the case a bit, but it didn't really bother me.
A day or two later I got this e-mail:
The case came in this past Saturday, and it is definitely a better fit, no more rattle!
I have bought Spigen products for many of my previous devices, and customer service like this ensures I will continue to do so.

Coming from the Nexus 5 this phone is still very thin with this case on.

Naked or with Case

I just wanted to know who was thinking of just going bare bones naked on this bad boy, or if it will be in need of a case?

gonna get a clear case, so basically naked

For me it depends on how slippery the phone is. I've had a couple of phones that you just couldn't hold on to without a case.

I used a ringke slim on my N5 and N6. I've been naked with the G4 since it launched. If the 5X is sufficiently grippy naked, which I hope it is, then I'll go with that

I have a Ringke Slim (clear), TUDIA TPU (black) and the ADOPTED one (clear and hasn't arrived yet). The TUDIA and Ringke are nice so far but I only opened them to see how they felt.

Just bought the smoke black Ringke Fusion for my N5X Carbon. Hope it is decent and matches it well.
My N4's bumper has saved it a few times, but I'll see how this feels in the hand without, though.

I like a black leather skin and a PET screen protector. Hoping Slickwraps steps up to the plate for the skin. I usually carry mine in a pouch case (PDAir) on my belt.

Sorry about the late reply overall its pretty good and I love the minimal front bezel bump

Ringke told me their cases don't work with the fingerprint sensor. Can anyone confirm?

I'll let you know but it doesn't ship until 10/27 according to Google. I'll post pictures and compare it to my other cases for you

Spigen Armor Cases and Sapphire Black Color Match

What's the best match for the Sapphire Black? Slate Metal or Gunmetal?

I had a smoke black, semi-transparent Orzly FlexiSlim on mine when I had the sapphire one and it looked pretty smexy.
EDIT: as far as those two choices go, personally I'd go with slate metal.

Went with Slate Metal before I saw this. Pretty good match.

Dbrand Galaxy Note 8

pre ordered my skins a while back, went for red & black carbon fiber, curious about the white marble & dragon skin tho, cant wait for them to release the green carbon fiber skins

on a glass phone its pretty much a no brainer, adds grip, protects from scratches, hide smudge marks, helps you locate the fingerprint scanner - whats not to like?

Probably ordering a few... I have a dbrand dark wood skin for my S8+ and love it. I might try it the lighter wood for my Note 8

If you've applied screen protectors before then it's way easier as you don't need to look out for dust fibers, just small grains that may cause lumps, plus you can take it off and stick it back on again as long as you're careful
They provide video tutorials for each device they sell skins for.
They do front skins too but I'm not a huge fan of them

These skins by dbrand are the best! They are very thick and protect well. I just took the one off my note 5 which I bought as soon as it came out, and it is brand new looking now. The skin also came off slowly but cleanly, with no need to clean after removing. Also look for xda packs they offer at special prices.

Whatever you do, Dbrand is fine. Just don't order anything from Slickwraps....worst service I ever experienced.

I've had a dbrand skin on ALL of my past phones during at least one point or another and always go back to them. Will be ordering the Black Dragon skin because I have never tried this one yet(but looks cool) and the Hyperblack Titanium just in case I don't like the Dragon skin.

I had the Dragon Skin for Samsung s8+, looks nice, but like other posters say it's pretty easy to put on. A quick YouTube and you'll have a bunch of videos to help you.

Got the Black Dragon skin with a Red Carbon Fiber accent.
Excited to see it in-person!

Are DBRAND skins waterproof ?

How is it putting on case and removing case with a dbrand skin? Does it thicken the phone in anyway. Does makes it hard to remove or put on case?

ive not had any issues with water - its made out of 3m vinyl so it should hold up

depends on the case, i use the ringke fusion and generic tpu cases and theyre flawless, i dont think the ultra thin snap-on cases would play well with the skin but the skin is very thin

i think the alcohol will remove the adhesive but water should be fine
