A few days ago I bought a X98 Air III. I have the version with Android and 32 gb. Now I would like to upgrade to a Dual Bios to install Windows 10. I currently have the mirek rom with android 5. Now I've read that, that i need a 4.4.4 rom for installing dual bios. Where can I get such a rom ? Does anybody have a little guide for me ?

Hello to anyone, I'm trying to understand something about modding and upgrade this tablet.
I've read on the main thread but everything is for model c6j6 or c9j8.
Questions are:
1) is there a custom rom for c5j6? If not which one should I get?
2) do I need to upgrade the bios to have a custom rom or to pass to lollipop rom?
I hope to get some answer since I can't post to specific thread yet.

c5j6 is the most "compatible" version, it seems to work with all of Mirek's custom ROMs perfectly. According to the chart, you should run BIOS version 2.02 (I think it is the stock ROM on that version so no need to upgrade, just verify that it is 2.02). I want ask you experts for your knowledge. How can I root my AIR III to remove bloatware and chinese apps.

EDIT: I found the solution for rooting here in the forum in this thread. I do everything as descripted. I start the launcher with cwm-recovery (option 5 in secent Screen) and then in third screen with T4, so it was possible to root the Teclast AIR III

Very glad to be among you ! I am a Teclast X98 3G (C5J6) owner since 3 months. I like mirek190 roms. But I have touch problem with android 4.4.4. I even installed the last version (mirek190_rom_v5.1 - android 4.4.4) but the result is the same: the touch does not respond. So I have downloaded boot_touch_fixed_for_mirek190_roms.img to solve the problem. Since i am newbie in flashing, i don't know where to put this downloaded image. So i need your help to fix this touch problem on my Teclast X98 3G (C5J6). Thanks in advance !

Just replace the boot.img file in the mirek android 4.4.4 download package with the boot_touch_fixed_for_mirek190_roms.img (rename to boot.img) and flash using the instructions provided by mirek.

I have had this phone since 2 years ago, now i have not get any lollipop updates, how can i do?
I want a lot lollipop for first cause Samung has promised it, but the most important reason is the battery, performance and for modding with some custom roms presents in this forum.
I wanna know if i can update my phone, for example using Odin or any other way.
If someone has my same phone model version please contact me and teach me how to update.
I read a lot of articles about the updating of my model but im scared, cause maybe i can brick my phone and i can't buy anyother now.
