This mod will allow you to listen to media using the main speaker and the phone earpiece at the same time, resulting in a much better audio experience.
Steps:
1: Using a root file manager, go to system/etc and rename mixer_paths_tasha.xml to mixer_paths_tasha.xml.bak
2: Download my mixer_paths_tasha.xml
3: Paste my mixer_paths_tasha.xml into system/etc and check all the permission boxes
(On Oreo place in system/vendor/etc)
Done, enjoy!

I didn't notice until I rebooted my phone, but this broke google assistant voice commands on my G6. I moved my original
back in place, rebooted, and assistant voice commands worked again. Did the process over with this mod, rebooted, and GA voice
commands were broken again. I made sure all the perms were set correctly.
I don't use OK Google, but decided to try it using your mod and that worked fine.

Neither am I.
I will root my phone after Lg stop it's system enhancements update (not security).
Btw mine is h870ds varient so root access possibilities is depend on Lg.
Slowly it seems to go ahead. If I finally dare to roto, I will also test this mod :good:
Working good volume is higher and sound seems to flow from the center of the phone when you watch on it. Before was all from down side of phone... GOOD! thank you

I used this mod in my old phones so i know that this wouldn't work on LG Optimus 4X. But i may be wrong. So if you don't mind can you share screenshots if you've tested it already? It is not pleasant for people having to flash kdz again and again after trying your mods.

I didn't know we have that app on market...
So, yeah , basically it's same thing but it's not working every time.
Sometimes app can't activate and nothing happens but when it's working it's working great...
Tnx for sharing...
One idea, maybe to try to add all libraries from smar calling (Z2) and use them eith this app, that could maybe fix those issues...

For me almost every other call won't work...
So , it's 50% successful
I don't get toast msg "activated" and it doesn't work.
But as soon as I repeat call from other devico - it's working...
That's something developer explained on market (app info).

Hi Funky,
alright this app works flawlessly I also tried the other apps from the same developer they work just fine
Do you have any idea how can I remove the gestures one that we installed from the Z2 port? I flashed it from recovery but I don't know how to remove it. Because this app is much better than that one

Why?
I flash those lib and apk files after I installed this app from market.
It can only be advantage to have those files
If you have app smart calling just uninstall it.
If you still want to "uninstall" all files you've flashed.
Open that zip file on PC (or on phone but it's easier to compare when you open it on other device/PC)
And you'll see what files you should delete.
Delete them and that's all

So you're saying that the files from the flashable smart call handling Z2 port will help this app from the google play store? if I remove them the app we both installed from google play store won't work?
I would like to remove it because anyway it's not working the whole time and I don't like extra files on my device lol

The directory it's saved in should be in the dialog that appears after you press "Install" — read it.
Ended up downloading a copy, haven't needed it yet. After everything including the questionable module was installed my low battery on s4 came on. Now charging.

Hey guys!
Just ported AudioFX over from CM14.1's 1125th build. Works fine and system-wide as it does on CM. It's designed to work with Android 7.X.X (7.0 - 7.1.1). Theoretically though, it may work on previous versions of Android though I haven't tested it. Just a quick post, hope you guys like it!
Just flash the attached ZIP from your recovery. You'll be done!
Cheers. Let me know!
