This is ota update directly from B839 to B852,there is NO NEED to return to the B830.

Restore stock recovery, and do a local update

tried now on my phone ( rooted ) and instal fail, waiting for full firmware

install failed for me as well,
I put the archive in a "dload" folder, made local update
i use B839, non rooted

Dont extract the files, put update.zip to dload and make local update

I got this one as a automatic OTA update.

Installed it over b839, working like charm. Thanks ☺

There is no difference between b839 and b852!!!
And I don't know why i lost my motion control and huawei Swype!!!
Maybe I lost them because of Factory reset that I have done after update.
Did you do factory reset after update???

It should optimize the compatibility with apps.
Problems with snapchat pictures and facebook Videos and the lockscreen.
In german forum they say its also running even better than b839.
Havent installed it yet for myself but will do the next days.

i updated my device but still have problem with 4g. there is only wcdma/gsm.

P9 remove retail demo mode

I just bought a Huawei P9, The screen went into sleep mode after 15 seconds though, so I tried to change this. After saving, nothing happened though, When I press the power button a demo shows up. Turns out what I bought was a retail demo device.
it has many other problems :/
Anyone here knows how to get rid of that demo ?

My best guess would be the same method I used to 'debrand' my one.
My one was from Orange and had 2 of their apps i couldn't uninstall.
Steps I did to convert it to c432b180.
- Download SRK tool + C432 full update zip
- Unlock bootloader with srk tool
- Root
- Once rooted use the change oeminfo and custom.bin to c432.
- Restart device in update mode (vol + - and power) with the dload file method in sdcard.
My device was then coverted to c432.
If bootloader is still unlocked, relock with srk.

i can confirm this procedure works. i converted my P9 demo to EU and and it worked without any problem. i upgraded to nougat 7.0 and had battery drain issues and downgraded to C432B136 without any problems.

Just realized there is no Music app.

Gapps installer works, but doesn't sync contacts... Anybody has the same problem?

I can't even get past setup wizard. "Checking connection" never finishes. Not sure what's up with this. It did the same thing when I tried the last beta, too.

Can't understand.Do you want to flash the recovery without unlocking?

Just want to tell you that this does makes the Xiaomi.eu ROM comes to bootloop.
The ROM works fine with the other version of TWRP though.

I have rooted using Magisk. How to use the call recorder using Magisk

I need to modify the file for C675 but i think its not working because of L09.
I dont have a magisk version but on xda you will find a magisk oreo call recorder file.

Any news for BKL-L09 compatibility ?

The callrecorder works optimally in call, no bugs.
The only issue is that the app callrecorder does not start anymore and then if you want to use the recorder functions (not for calls) you have to resort to third-party apps. @Blackball Can you solve this issue?

Huawei is finally rolling our call recording feature in India with updates. got this on 6X, v10 now. I have used the MOD BTW while rooted
