When using the stock camera app I often note, that it claims much battery, sometimes about 1 percent for every minute of using.
Can somebody confirm this high energy usage?

Help! My screen randomly lights up partial on its own, when I mean partially I mean the screen is off but the backlight is on and stays on until I press the power button. This happened before and I was told that LiteFlow was probably the cause of it, causing wakelocks, so I uninstalled it and I've not noticed it since. Then suddenly the last few days I've noticed it happen again, I've got betterbatterystats installed and I've been keeping an eye on the wakelocks, nothing stands out!
Is anyone else having this same issue?

This happens due to low battery mode. If it is enabled, once the battery reaches the % mentioned for it to deactivate, the brightness kicks in and keeps the phone on and not on standby.
Example : your battery is at 3% and the low battery mode is set at 5%. As soon as the battery charge hits the 5%. We face the issue.

You are right, I've watched it over last few weeks and it only happens when low battery mode is enabled. Let's hope Sony address this and fix it!

Hello people of the forum I'm a follower of all the threads about this amazing phone lg, but lately I start to see some of this problems:
- the common lag of the main screen that takes about 10 to 15 seconds to load all the app launchers
- the battery is the main problem when I fully charged I could easily loose about 15 to 20% of the battery with 20min of usage during a video or light games
- when I load videos of YouTube they get pause itself and it restart all the video again
- some games like jewel dash (that's is a light game) kick me off after a few minutes of play
- I changed to jb from its mainly because the heat of the phone during playing videos or games, although this problem persist after the update
I applied all the things what the forum show like the factory reset after the update the wipe data. I installed the firmware with kdz tool... I will appreciate all your help about this subject I'm really de desperate... Btw my phone is rooted but I'm very newbie on this subject of cyanogedmod and the flashing so be comprehensive on that
Thx for all ur help
First go to settings and factory reset the device and then boot in stock recovery and choose wipe data factory reset and wipe nv partition when finished remove the battery and reinsert it and flash the firmware with kdz update when flashing finished root your device and then install supersu integrate(move) into system and factory reset again and then use a root file manager go to root>system>app and delete lgmits.apk and mlt.apk and reboot
I used this my own method my 4x is butterly smooth and also better battery life.
To improve performance use greenify,in developer setting select background process limit atmost 2 process it's resets in every boot, and also select animation effects off

Do you think tegra overclock will improve my phone and how I can use it? Thx for ur help
Enviado desde mi LG-P880 usando Tapatalk 2
You can control the active core like lg gear box but don't use cpu clock or changing frequency governor, you can also force all selected core online to improve games performance and also you're able to overclock gpu
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
How can I use this app for improve the battery life and produce less heat? I'm using one core right now as I read on another thread but when I want to modify the gpu clock it don't make the chance it's permanent on 50 Mhz as I read on another thread it's because the cpu and gpu r not unlinked how can I modify in this case mu gpu? Thx for ur help

The default value of gpu is 200 and i chaned it to 330

And how I can reduce the drain battery and the heat? That's my main problem
Enviado desde mi LG-P880 usando Tapatalk 2
Try to uninstall Google Maps and Google Plus also use greenify to hibernate user apps.
Heat is normal for Tegra3 processor

Ok and the gpu c. Clock on 330 and how many core I should use during normal use of phone and how many for game performance

An this one's r the setting of tegra overclock
Enviado desde mi LG-P880 usando Tapatalk 2
Don't use core selection because tegra3 uses cores selection automatically, it's enables and disabales cores as requirements but lg modified it to prevent forcing all cores online in games.
So gaming you can select 4 cores online and normal use just select 2 cores
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda premium
I don't experimented yet with tegra fps you can search in google for more info.
But normally in every 4x cell standby is in top on battery use.
For gpu clock select 3d at 380mhz and 2d half of the 3d value.

try using your phone without any extra case or guard behind it. that may help.
It really sucks the heat and the drain battery problem and u don't know how to stop that is not possible that my phone just hace 5-6 hours of battery and I need to charge it 3 times in the day

20hrs and battery drains only when screen turns on, it sounds very normal to me consider you still have about half juice left. As least my phone is pretty much like that.

get Custom Kernel/Rom, deactivate 2 Cores, set max Clock to 1024, set Brightnes to 0%.
That will help. But you won't like it ^^
You could have told in two word, get Nokia.
Stock ROM or rooted?
You can try Greenify and use Battery calibration app(e.g. Du Battery Saver).
Hit Thanks if you like.

Hello,
I find the battery is awesome on Miui 7 BUT it could be better:
loosing 15% battery for 1.5 hour of not using the phone seems too much for me.
Anyone sharing good experience on that matter?
Hey my friend i get awesome battery life... If you can see.. I would get over 10 SOT "screen on time" mostly i use just whats app and music... Here are the proofs.. I am on the latest miui 7 rom developer.. I would in your situation flash full wipe and install one by one every app and try hold some time between every installation... And in this time keep an aye of your battery and with a wakelock app and better battery stats... Try and reply.. And dont forget.. Calibrate your battery at first after clean flash..

What do you mean by "calibrate your battery "?

You have such battery life on Note Pro? It seems impossible . I and all people I know have only 4,5 SOT not more.
Which firmware do you use? Brightness is AUTO?

Hello, is there anybody who's using ACC on Mi 8 with MIUI? If so, is it safe to install and use? Is the charging speed better? Thanks.

Hi,
I use the Pocophone F1, Mi Max 3 and 2 both with MIUI 10.
Both work 100%.
Regarding the speed of the charging, I advise the default because the faster the battery, the degrade the battery.
Good luck!
