Requirements
- Unlocked OP6T with TWRP preinstalled and kernel ZIP copied to phone. OR use Franco's AnyKernel installer for rooted devices
- BACKUP: make sure you backed up your original Boot partition in TWRP, before installing this! Installer only modifies BOOT (kernel zImage)
- INSTALL: install the zip from your sdcard through TWRP
- Reboot.
-- If not using PlayStore Donation apps, then install CleanSlateCompanion-x.y.z.apk / CleanSlateConfig-x.y.z.apk (download in this thread). Please grant Notification Access and the permission to read/write SDCard, read phone call status.
------ !! IF YOU UPDATED THE COMPANION APP, Don't forget to Open it again as well after update !!
--- use CS Configuration App to configure stuff without rooting
Companion application writes /sdcard/uci_sys.cfg to communicate with kernel, you'll find it there after first running the app, don't delete it.
If rebooting, please wait until the CleanSlate apps pop up a toast with "CleanSlate companion activated" and "CleanSlate configuration applied". FOR THIS TO WORK, YOU NEED TO LOCK THE APPS in app switcher. Details here: post with info OxygeneOS would otherwise clean the app from Autostart upon Boot completion.
Then all should be fine!
Known bugs:
- You need to reload Chrome switching KAdAway on/off, and also KAdaway only blocks ads in Chrome and maybe other browsers.

Yeah, haven't tested it myself, but hopefully it could work. OnePlus unified the op6 and op6t sources into one project with one common default configuration, so I'm positive.
I have some doubts about the cleanslate high brightness mode because the fingerprint reader on 6t uses hbm too.
We will see how it works...

Great new phone, I wish I had one to test stuff, but looks like we have a nice unified source for op6 and 6t so changes on the 6 should generally work.

It is using marginally increased battery, I couldn't really see it eating the battery away. You can play around with how often it flashes. Also it can be set to only do flash when the phone is face down on a surface, not in your pocket, or in hand.
It's also done in a CPU sleep time friendly manner, to not interrupt the Deepsleep more than the bare minimum needed.

Works again fingerprint!!!!!

The Google Chrome and GAPPS is quite easy to fix. Just look at the permissions from the gapps flasher and set them correctly. I suspect Google Chrome has a lib file that it can't access. After you install Google Chrome normally look in it's data folder /data/data/com.google.something and go into lib if there's a file there something.so it needs to be under /system/lib if you have it installed as a system app (or normalapp since it didn't copy it to the relevant folder since it's not actually installed just copied). If theres no file under lib then this is not it.
If you wan't more speed ODEX it and preload the classes like the Official Port does. (If you already did this then ignore it)
EDIT: I don't have the ROM so if I might be wrong.
EDIT2: why do you say you have to wipe cache and dalvik again? If it's necessary there's something wrong in your updater script.

I assure you it won't, Unlike Mercurified, which just releases recklessly, MercurySandwich undergoes tests before being released. So if this ROM fries OB, i will be the first one.

i used the rom for about 15mins then reverted back to official shendu.
major bugs are:
the rom lags more than official one. whenever u select something, it takes time to load up.
unlike u said, camera is still not fixed. its same as official. when select video recording, the screen freezes and phone gets hot. only rebooting makes phone get back to normal.
battery drain was quite high for the little i used the rom.
and then a minor bug..the letterings in the clock in the main menu isnt centered well.

HOW-TO Install the rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock in Developer settings!
1. Download latest bootloader and modem from here:
Bootloader/Modem
2. Download latest odin
3. Flash BL in BL tab and CP in CP tab of odin. Then follow the steps on this side until you get a working custom recovery: TWRP
4. If you are done with bootloader, modem and recovery we can move on, boot into twrp holding power, home button and volume up while phone is powered off
5. This will delete all your personal data! Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now connect your phone to PC and copy the rom file inside your internal or external sd card
8. Flash the rom and wait until it is finished
9. Reboot your phone and enjoy !
10. During initial setup, do not enable private folder (because it does not work yet) and will get an encryption error if enabled!

Hello I was just wondering if I select S7E UI, will the camera UI go back to s7e UI as well? How about setting wise? Eventhough a certain camera modes have been fixed in the oast for Samsung isocell, the image quality from n7 port is very bad and very obvious when placed s7e and n7 port images side by side. Several users with samsung isocell camera sensor have confirmed this on the other thread

Are you planning to add mods or implement a ROMcontrol if ROM would be fast enough on deodex? I am asking because SuperMan is a perfect ROM for everyday use for an experienced Android user.

You misunderstood me. I was asking if you are planning to implement mods when there would be a possibility to get deodexed ROM.

Is "OEM UNLOCK " not supposed to allow the installation of custom roms? I guess that's why it's always advised to have it turned on before installing custom roms etc.. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Just trying to be sure about this.

Yes it is. But I say to you: if it would be disabled, the rom would not work and your phone would not boot.

Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:
The Rom itself contains many many custom features via RomControl, I'll list the most important ones below, still you are very welcome to try them all via the RomControl app (choosable in aroma). Now enough talking, wish you much fun flashing the rom and hope you'll enjoy it! :fingers-crossed:

How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done :highfive:
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S7e TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press home+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open IronControl Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

- face unlock by samsung, we have trusted face by google instead
- Back key light not working due to the fact, that the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 don't have hardware buttons anymore. We need to wait for a similar device as the S7 to get android 7.1.1 to fix it
- Knox related features such as secure folder, samsung pay or samsung pass may not work any longer after rooting your phone

Just as a small addition:
If you are using any 3rd party kernel (not the included IronKernel) you may want to ask your developer to include this wifi hotspot fix. Using 3rd party kernel will break the hotspot function!!
Please, again. If this issue happens it's not an issue with the rom BUT the kernel. I hope all devs will include it for n8 ports

Spen not removed because the same rom can be installed on n8 devices. I think n8 users would kill me

Update: The battery life is same as S7 edge stock.... I guess my battery is deteriorated from charging the phone too much.....

Rom did not install Applock although I found it in Aroma. It is not selected

Yes, i tried to copy "cscfeature.xml" & applock.apk from another rom (Note 8 DX port rom) and it work fine

Hi there.
I'm not against root.
I just want to give you the freedom of not using superuser permission if not necessary to achieve the goal of the given case. Like if you are happy with this kernel you won't see it asking for superuser permission. (Only wireguard will require it if you plan on using it)
Unlocking your phone and flashing stuff is great, but if for some reason you want to avoid giving away the keys of your "vault" to third parties you know very little about through super permission granting... Then here's a possibility.
In the age where you store so much value on your phone, like banking, crypto currency, private chats it might matter a lot when there's a possibility to customize your phone with only unlocking, no root.
Unlocking does NOT equal root/ superuser.
Does this make sense?

It's very similar but kernel based and does not require reboot to switch it on / off.
It's convenient when going into the app you simply toggle it and save, restart chrome and the site asking for ads to be on works again... using the premium app its possible

Not yet. I'm still struggling with input driver tweaks on kernel 4.9, somewhat stuff changed..
Needs some more time to check what works how, but planning on adding some Fingerprint input tweaks first.
Sweep2sleep would be cool too, if one's phone is not used in Gestures mode... so that's on the list to check.

Requirements
- Unlocked OnePlus 8 Pro, stock or with magisk root
- BACKUP: make sure you have a stock image downloaded (boot img) from OnePlus before installing this!
Installation Guide
Firstly install CleanSlate configuration and CleanSlate companion apps on your phone (both found down below in Download section). Set them up initially.
- Non-rooted method: 0. download the non-rooted boot img
1. reboot to bootloader (adb reboot-bootloader)
2. temporary boot cleanslate_x.y.z_stock_20xx-xx-xx.img (fastboot boot cleanslate.......img)
3. if everything went fine, you can reboot to bootloader and flash the image: fastboot flash boot cleanslate.......img
4. reboot, enjoy
- Rooted method: 0. download the installer zip
1. install magisk and a capable kernel manager like EXKM/FrancoKernel
2. flash the cleanslate installer zip from the kernel manager
3. reboot, enjoy

Is there a major issue with it? I see some updates by OnePlus related to screen's edge touch sensitivity.
Actually I'm not sure how it works on the Op8Pro, but it's a possibility to disable some touch areas like the edges, if that is something good on the edges..
Maybe a possibility to switch off edge touch area completely/temporarily is something you think would help?
Unfortunately I don't have the phone, so I'm relying on input and results from people who actually can test.
First I'd like to see if the kernel works at all, hopefully we will see that too.

Will this work on the regular oneplus 8?

Me and many other users experience some kind of touchlag, especially on qhd resolution.
It's not just the edges - you can really notice that kinda lag when typing for examples.
The screen feels dull and not as responsive as e.g. on the 7 pro.
And no, this should not be hardware related since this is my 3. Unit and all of the 3 phones had that issue. There is already a thread on xda and the oneplus community about it.
Another user has the theory of frame drops but idk what exactly is the particular reason.

I have no idea yet. As far as I understand it could work actually, but I haven't checked the differences between the device boot images.
The source is the same and there's only one default config in the tree released by OnePlus.
If temporary booting works with the OnePlus 8/pro it could be relatively risk free to try, but I don't have any of the devices unfortunately.
Kernels on 6/6t worked fine between devices, but I'm unable to promise it will.

It's not going to be easy as I don't have the device, but I thought I'll give it a try without it.
The price of the phone is pretty high and for this year I'm already out of my phone budget.

Tried on a OP 8 pro and phone won't boot..... Qualcomm crushdump state.

A new version with a different compiler and cleaned up compilation settings...

8 Pro 12/256 model. This version went into crashdump mode as well.

maybe phone cannot boot kernel without flashing.
try stock boot.img and running fastboot boot on it.
if that works then yes kernel does not work

Yep, we tried that with @blaze9090 and a repacked stock kernel image works to be temp booted fortunately, and that's how one of the rooting methods also works if I understand it correctly.
