Someone knows how to install GSI ROMS (Project Treble Forum) in our XZ1 Compact?
Your bootloader must be unlocked.
You must enter fastboot on your phone.
If you want to flash an Android 9.0 GSI be sure that you are on Android 9.0 stock rom, if you want to flash an Android 8.0 based GSI be on stock OREO rom.
Android 10 GSI won´t work on our phone.
type in: fastboot.exe flash system YourNameofGSI.img
fastboot.exe reboot
That`s it. I tried it with phh´s treble AOSP 9.0 GSI. Works fine.

SkyHigh is correct. Just make sure you're on stock rom then enter fastboot mode and flash the GSI to system and reboot.
I'm using /e/ Pie and it works great.

Thanks for reply. Do you tried install GSI ROM using TWRP?
Yes, you can do. Just switch from ZIP to Image and put it to system partition. It works the same way.
Can Android 13 GSI ROMs work on this phone?
Custom recovery like OrangeFox or TWRP is getting crashed after installing any android 12 based rom.
I tried Arrow OS Android 12 based rom and AOSP Android 12 Rom.
In both cases, after successfully flash of rom, when i again try to enter into recovery, it just loads and restarts and it keeps restarting.
Note: Same recovery is working fine with android 11 based roms.
Any solution will be appreciated...
My device is Huawei P9(EVA-AL10),using EMUI 8.0.0.550.
And I tried flash phhusson's AOSP 11 GSI on the phone,and it not boot
A10/11 requires data decryption to boot
Hey, how can i install twrp on android 12 to reinstall rom?

i flashed and using lineageos 20.0230110 android 13
now i have the lineage recovery because the SHRP recovery did not fit and kept rebooting,
after flashing the lineageos recovery all is stable, but i want to flash costom recovery to fix low volume problem,
i tried orangefox/twrp/SHRP but they are all just "flashing" the initial logo at boot boot recovery will not load
can you point me to the suitable recovery for this system- redmi note 9 merlin

Where did you get lineageos 20.0230110 android 13 for Redmi Note 9, is it merlin?
I don't think there is a custom recovery for Note 9 with Android 13 or 12 yet
is there an official version for this device?
