Best settings for Moto Audio? - Moto G Power Themes, Apps, and Mods

I purchased a G Power a few weeks ago, and I really like the speakers of the phone. What settings do you guys in the Moto audio app use to get the most out the speakers? I personally just use bass boost, as the speakers are a little too bass-light for me with stock settings.

It mostly depends on your headphones/speakers, not in some magical settings. I prefer the "Music" preset in headphones and the "Automatical" setting on speakers.

[Q] Headset sound quality

Hello Everyone,
I have a Moto Milestone. I would like to use Milestone as MP3 player. I plugged the original Milestone headset and the sound quality was awful. There was no sub bass at all!) From that time, I used my previous phone (Nokia N73) as MP3 player (it's sound is extremely good compare to Milestone.)
Today I got a Nokia headset with a voice call button on it. I plugged it to my Milestone and the sound was awful, BUT if I push the button on the Headset the sound of the Milestone become extremely beautiful, I hear sub basses and higher sounds too.
Can anyone has idea for this? Can someone tell me, how will such a good voice come from Milestone's original headset?
Thanks.

Hi There,
There is no one, who has this problem?
I just use DSP Manager and poweramp's EQ to adjust the audio. Now I get really good audio from it after massive tweaking.
Still not as good as my old Archos Gmini400.
Also I re-read your post and that thing with the headset button is weird as hell.
I just use fairly high end headphones. (AKG K518LE)

Thanks for the answer. But it is true. I use a Sony-Ericsson X10 mini's headset and if I push the button in the headset, the sound quality became as same as my Sennheiser HD435.
I'm thinking about short-circuited the headset's button ...

Audio

Can someone comment on the music player audio quality and how it compares to viperaudio mod? If it is subpar, what music player are you using? I'm on verizon so viperaudio is not an option until/if we get root. Thanks in advance.

My experience so far has been good. Through the 3.5mm headphone jack it plays really well through my car stereo, nice dynamic sound with pretty low distortion. More base heavy than I would go for but definitely well rounded. The phone speaker itself I find a little distorted due to the big base but it depends on your style of music and volume levels. The volume goes quite high also.
I'm comparing this to my last phone which was the nexus 5, personally I felt the nexus 5 volume was too low and lacked any base and made it sound tinny because of it. Even with viper audio I was never satisfied with it. The Moto x on the other hand got a few smiles from me with how it handled some of my favorite tracks on my commute.
The last phone I can remember really enjoying my music on was the galaxy s1 international version with voodoo music mod. That was quite a while though and honestly can't remember it enough to compare. Still, maybe that gives you some indication to what I would be looking for audio wise
Im using Apollo for my music player and the sound is great. If u have upgraded to 5.0 theres a built in EQ under settings/sound where u can modify how it sounds thru headphones and front speakers.
That's also in 4.4

Sub/Amp install Question

Hey guys,
First post here however i've been lurking these forums for a long while.
Anyway, today I installed a Sub/Amp combo into my 2015 Lancer Se. Thing works a treat, pounds really hard.
However, I have noticed that I am unable to generate any bass whatsoever from Spotify. Poweramp works a treat as its got an inbuilt eq in the app which allows you to crank the bass, generating tons of bass. I understand that there are eq apps available from here (ViPER4Android) and a whole load of them from the app store although non of them seem to effect the audio at all even though im rooted. Am I missing something here?
Thanks in advance!
i was actually looking into this with my 2017 hyundai elantra .. but came with an in-dash stereo
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using XDA-Developers mobile app
Have you tried tinkering with the settings on the amp itself instead, what I always do is cracking it up all the way and then use my remote to get it in alignment with the music. Otherwise I would guess to start trying every equalizer in the playstore until one works
don't use power amp to set up the stereo, i made the same mistake. I have my power amp set to add extra base in the eq for when i have my crappy bluetooth headphones on. If you have a decent sub and amp it will be too much, that's why you have bass only when you listen to power amp. Try setting up your sub with just regular old FM station or spotify. Adjust the gain on your amp and set the crossover. then use the stereos EQ to fine tune it in. Don't rely on Android to adjust all that, even with Viper....It will sound the same across all sources if you set it up this way.
power amp is a double edge sword for me right now. I like it on my headphones, hate it for in my car. if i adjust it to sound good in my car it will sound weak on my headphones. I want two profiles for the blue tooth, but good luck i know.

sound enhancements?

I love my Moto x4 and I use it constantly everyday. I just switched from my Moto z play that broke (sad face) and overall, I'm liking some features of this phone better. One thing I have noticed is the sound that comes through the phones speaker or when hooked up to Bluetooth speakers doesn't sound very good. On my Moto z play and my older Moto g4, the sound quality was much much better and when hooked up to Bluetooth speakers, they really packed a punch. I will hook this phone up to the same speaker and play the same song but it doesn't sound as loud nor does it hold much bass. What would be the best sound enhancement app I could get without screwing the phone up?

Audio equilizer

First let me say I am LOVING my P30 Pro
I came from the Samsung s10 and so much about this phone is better. For me battery life being the main thing!
One thing I miss is the audio tools from the Samsung. Where you can calibrate each ear as well as approx 10 audio frequencies (graphic equilizer).
Is there anything out there that would make up for this? Maybe a 3rd party app?
Also the volume with headphones, both wired and Bluetooth is a lot less than the Samsung. Anyway this can be boosted?
Thanks
Graphic equalizer is present, under the Sound settings > Dolby Atmos.
Maximum volume is ok for me.
There is a app, its called Neutralizer, for calibrating your ears. But i suggest to take a better headphone amp like SXFI AMP from creative. It meassures your heat transfer function and convolve it to music signal. It has an equalizer too. Need some time until everything fits but after that its great - first time you can have a real staging and no more "in head" music.
