i would suggest to all of you guys before flashing any beta recovery you must be in stock rom version 11.0.4.
why?
1. From shas said, you must be in stock rom to use sp flash tool to recover your phone if you bricked it.
meaning no fastboot and no recovery loading to your phone or no light or anything(dead phone or hard bricked).
2. if you flashed miui 12 rom then you flashed recovery then your device got bricked you will no longer recover your phone unless you go to service center to fix it.
I would like to hear some suggestions from other members of redmi 9.
correct me if i am wrong.
thank you.

I really hope I have not bricked my mi3.
I recently installed cyanogen 12 Dev rom onto the phone but had terrible trouble installing a gapps package.
I was using cwm recovery r11, so I decided to change the recovery to twrp.
Still I could not get gapps to install! So earlier on I noticed the phone was really hot and over heating and when I looked at it it was stuck on the cyanogen boot logo.
I don't know how this happened but anyway I put the phone into recovery to try and cool it.
I then backed up the current rom on twrp and then tried to install a previous aosp rom that was working fine with gapps..
But when I wiped cache and then tried to install the zip file was missing so I tried to restore the backed up cyanogen 12 rom but the restore was not there.???
So twrp was telling me their was no os on the phone.
I tried to turn off the phone and then reboot to recovery in the hope the restore would be there but now the phone won't do anything.. Nothing.!
Even when I charge it no lights, nothing..
Am I f###ked or is their hope.
Please help.

let me explain everything why have i created this thread.
My phone was only charging when switched off. I was on Lineage OS (by daniel_hk) at that time so i thought it is because of that custom ROM.
I, then, intended to flash stock ROM, this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-note/development/official-build-lenovo-k3-note-k50a40-6-t3370537
debloated version.
I booted into TWRP recovery (v3.1.1-2 by daniel_hk).
Wiped everything and tried flashing K3 Note S433 Debloated ROM from the link i mentioned above. I received error 7. Now i was stuck without any OS in the phone.
Then I tried to flash other version of twrp (3.1.1-0) in phone using sp flash tool but received another error- "PMT is changed for the ROM! It must be downloaded" :/
I googled and found the solution is format the flash using sp flash tool. I did it and flashed the recovery but my phone went dead completely! No responses at all.
Finally i decided to install the original S433 ROM in K3 Note using SP Flash tool but then i receved another error - "BROM: Error 4008"
Then I tried another version of SP Flash tool, v5.1628 (previously v5.1604), Received the PMT changed error then formatted again then flashed the Original ROM.
Now my phone is Unbricked but still not charging and i have no IMEI also.
Favours/Helps that i want-
1. Main thing i want my phone to charge when it is powered on. Watched this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7qtDMu_WTU but I am not able to enter Engineering Mode.
2. I want to install debloated version of this ROM through TWRP and for that i have to flash twrp now but to flash TWRP i will need to format using SP Flash tool first (becuase of error "PMT is Changed in the ROM") and if i do that my phone will be bricked again! If i somehow flashed the recovery then i'll not be able to flash the debloated version of the ROM because of the "Error 7".
3. Want my IMEI back
Any Help will be really appreciated.
And sorry if any similar thread already exists I couldn't find the best solution for me anywhere so i created my own!
dude , first thing to remember;
even if your os is completely gone and recovery option is still working , then don't ever do these stupid things.
I've been in your place . But i always knows that if your recovery is still working then there's 99.9% you can fix it.but it seems like you've ruined everything with other flash tools. Dude , unlike every phones, k3 note has it's own k3 note manager software available in xda forums. You can download twrp backups here . Lenovo stock rom backup was here, only you have to do is download and place it on the correct folder. Then press restore!!!
But you ruined everything. I don't know if it turn on again. You came here after all of this and asking us to help now? I
install a custom rom after installing the stockrom (which got error7 during install)
after u get error7 when installing the firmware,,you wont have any os for the phone to boot.
just flash someother custom rom after u got that error.. phone will boot up.
Please compare whether all files of the stockrom you downloaded are extracted,i got error 7,and when i investigated the reason was that one of the file inside the rar file was not extracted.which inturn caused error during instalation

hows your phone?? alive??
Hey!I have a serious problem with my phone and I really need some help
My phone was running Android 8.1 (Custom ROM) before someone cracked the screen of my phone. After that i leave the phone to a service for repair. All good since i take it back. After i went to home i do a factory reset and guess what...bootloop.I tried to flash other ROM ( I was using TWRP 3.2) but smae results...I tried to flash other version of TWRP ,but when i typed in adb fastboot boot (recovery image name).iso the phone still remains in FASTBOOT and nothing happened.
Finally I saw that an older version of TWRP was workig (cofface TWRP recovery) and i flashed the original ROM (MIUI) wich was working
Now I want to know what they did to my phone. Why i can't flash any other recovery or Custom ROMs...What can I do?
I really need some help
Hi,
I decided to try to install the custom lineage ROM that was here.
I downloaded the ROM, followed the steps to install orange fox custom recovery. I flashed the ROM, rebooted and got stuck on the realme logo. Luckily I was able to bypass this boot loop and get back into recovery. Now that I am there, I just want to revert my phone to stock to avoid any more issues. My Bootloader is unlocked.
Question: How do I revert my phone to completely stock Realme X2 Pro / realme ui 1.0. I have an .ozip file containing the stock ROM. I do not want to permanently brick my device, please help. How do I revert all the partitions/ROM back to normal. Thank you.
EDIT: I tried flashing the ozip file, but when I rebooted it was still stuck on the logo screen. What should I do?
The issue has been solved, thank you.
Try to help me

Relevant comic https://xkcd.com/979/
I had the same problem just yesterday and i have successfully locked the bootloader and am back to stock rom.
Now this is not my method i read it here on xda but cant find that thread now.
First of all go to fastboot and in cmd type fastboot -w (this should wipe internal storage)
Then boot into recovery
Go to advanced wipe(cache, dalvik, system, data)
Go back into wipe menu and do format data and press yes.
Then reboot to recovery through reboot menu in recovery
It will ask for conformation as no rom is installed but continue to reboot.
Then flash the ozip(if you have a recovery compatibe to flash ozip otherwise use alpropriate zip file for flashing rom. In my case i had unofficial twrp).
After flash completes dont do anything and just reboot to system this should replace custom recovery with stock one.
Then reboot to recovery to check if it is replaced with a stock one.(Never try to lock bootloader with custom recovery installed it will hard brick your device.)
Then if stock recovery is installed reboot to bootloader and in cmd type
Fastboot flashing lock
Then accept the msg on phone to lock bootloader it will wipe your data and then you will have a phone with locked bootloader.
I again want to inform you that this is not my post but i had read it somewhere on xda i will try to find it and then put a link to it here.
So I was messing around with my newly bought M4 Pro 5G and I wanted to root it. I started the process of unlocking the phone(bootloader) a week ago and just yesterday I was actually able to do it. Then I installed TWRP to get a backup of the system but I guess that during that process I managed to wipe the whole system. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop that only shows the POCO logo and nothing else. Pressing VOL+/VOL- and Power button don't do anything at all and I think I've run out of options. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to install OS or TWRP back because for some reason it doesnt want to go into neither Fastboot or TWRP(I think I didnt install it properly because I had to use console commands almost everytime I wanted to launch it). Title sums up the problem.
Try to flash boot.img file of you stock ROM. It can help to exit bootloop. Or if this does not work i recommend you to reflash full rom once again from MI FLASH TOOL.
Hope it will help you.

Doesn't the phone have to be on fastboot to flash? I'm stuck in the POCO logo by the way. I haven't tried the "reflash full rom", is there anything else I might need besides the ROM and MI FLASH TOOL?
