No idea man, I was interested to know the same before considering to buy it...I don't see theusual section in XDA with android development for this XR20, so I guess it does not have a community that supports the modding yet

~Disclaimer~
1. You can't control the microphone gain (Android without root & iPhone), it's automatic. Speak for a few seconds to adjust the gain.
2. If you record calls with options 3 to 6, use a Y-split adapter to connect a headset and listen to the conference.

Hi,
That site with rooting it's Fake!

Xposed on Mate S Premium (CRR-UL20)?

Hello,
recently I was browsing the Internet to find out, whether is it possible to do some hax with this phone and found that it may be possible to root this phone using KingRoot app (I'm going to test this soon).
I also saw a thread with Xposed packages for EMUI. But my question is - is it possible to install Xposed on this phone, when installing TWRP is not available (it doesn't exist (yet?))?

magisk root VS chainfire

Hey guys just need to double check some information
Currently using a Google Pixel with Purenexus 7.1.2 and chainfires root.
Tired of waiting for PN 8.0 so going to slflash to stock and was wondering if magisk root would be a downgrade from chainfires as I am a power user

Not a step down at all, I've only had Titanium Backup give me any type of warning about it, but gave me no problems.

Not sure why you think it would be a "downgrade". It give you root, and that root functionality is not significantly any different from SuperSU. Plus, Magisk has a big collection of cool "systemless" modules which can be easily loaded and unloaded.
Each method has its pros and cons. Read up on both, and decide, as it's primarily a personal preference. But personally, I was a longtime SuperSU user, and was hesitant to jump on the Magisk bandwagon. But now that I have, I have yet to go back or even consider it.
The thing is, magisk provides simplicity over SuperSU. Also systemless feature give it ahead start of SuperSU

MagiskSU is based on SU original binaries so isn't a downgrade, its just that if you use Magisk, the su binary u will use will be ajusted for Magisk compatibility.
Then, Titanium Backup works with Magisk's root?

Viper4android on Note 9 (snapdragon) without root?

Hi everyone,
I just switched from my old good Galaxy S7 to a brand new Note 9 (snapdragon, couldn't find an exynos variant on my country)
and so far i'm loving it, the software (aside from the usual bloatware) has been excelent and nothing seems to be missing for me right now, EXCEPT for some decent quality audio.
I'm used to use mid-high tier headphones and all I can say is samsung is still giving us pretty much no control over the sound quality.
Now to the point of this post, I know there is a way to install viper4android by just changing the kernel to permissive (idk if this still works). I don't want to void my warranty by tripping knox this time, and up to this moment there is no reason for me to root my device except for the sound mod.
Does anyone know how to install viper4android without root?
Does anyone know how to change the kernel to permissive without tripping knox?
Does anyone know if there is or is in development a way to root without tripping knox?
Thanks for reading

Again as far as I know the only non root way to install Viper4android is through TWRP. Yes this will trip knox but is non root. TWRP will probably be available on a Snapdragon version Note 9 long before if ever root is. His wishes for no nox trip Viper4android are non existent.

what are the pros and cons (if any) of Magisk over SuperSU ? i apologize if this is

i searched for some info but couldn't find any at a glance so perhaps I will just ask you guys. I apologize if this is a FAQ and i just missed it. i have supersu. i wonder if i should move to Magisk ?
1. what are the pros of Magisk
2. any downsides of Magisk ?
3. is there any tutorial for converting from SuperSU to Magisk ? i managed to get TWRP and SuperSU because someone else did it on my phone. that person is no longer be able to help. different country different timezone. not a friend either. it was a paid service done in Hongkong where and when I bought the phone.
again I apologize if this is a FAQ. I'm a noob. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction. I just want to set this phone right from the get go. it's a virgin phone. haven't install anything yet. well i install Titanium Backup just to make sure root is working. 99% virgin i guess. thank you for any help and pointers

Open source. Actively maintined. Root hiding. Systemless modifications. Big community. Etc...
Possibly not compatible with as many devices as SuperSU was.

Is supersu even being developed anymore? I'd love to have at least some sort of crappy Plan B as it looks like magisk has a possibility of dying.

Asus ROG Phone 2 Tencent Game version WW should Root or Unroot?

My Asus ROG Phone 2 is a "Tencent Game" version. I already unlocked the Bootloader and changed the ROM from CN to WW so my device warranty gone already. So should I keep root my ROG Phone 2 or should I keep unrooted. I mean after rooting which extra facilities or which helpful modification I will get? After rooting I deleted some bloatware app like "Armoury Crae", "Netflix", "Facebook", etc but then my phone couldn't reboot after deleting those apps, so I reflash the rom and did not root again. So what I should do with my Unlocked Bootloader phone? Should I keep it rooted or just keep unrooted? If rooted phone can give me some extra advanced feature then please explain me what are those! Please!
well, if you need explanation of what rooting enables you to do... don't root your phone.

If it is very difficult to you to explain then you need not answer the post!
what i wanted to tell you is that if you don't know what rooting does to your phone, then you probably don't need root. or start educating yourself.

But, just in case, I have some Magisk modules. I attached them. And, in addition, is extremely easy to root this phone.

I've flashed both so. Thanks!
And what's your equalizer to listen the steps? More highs than bass?
And when they are cropped? It would be amazing for the last part of the match
Thx mate!
it's the movie preset. uses a lot of compression to bring up the background noise, such as steps in pubg, and brings down the volume of gunfire.
They are adding modules like this in the Magisk TG Channel.
Could someone be useful for us?
