I suppose they've removed the old 90 day requirement for sim unlocking, although being able to unlock your bootloader out of the box is nice. Think I'm done going through t-mobile and possibly just repairing my old 8t since those aren't locked down, and has rom support.

Buying Dev Edition for Europeans.

Being offered HTC One DE, I'm thinking if I can use it in Europe.
- As in, will I be able to flash another broadband if the stock gives me terrible signal?
- Will there be any bumps on the road?
according to this thread, you can flash modem via adb.
there are always bumps in the road.

Yes, but that thread also notes that after flashing the radio, it did not support the AWS band that the TMO radio is supposed to use.
but it still answers your question. you /can/ flash radio. bumps milage may vary.

I can only assume that they aren't accepting my card since it isn't from the states.
Guess this is going to make my final decision unless there is a way around this, but is there?

Still on Nougat 7.1.1

Hi.I got The Phone on eBay.I went to the software center to begin to install all the updates on my device. When Everything end and for my surprize im still on nougat. Then try the Companion desktop application on my desktop but in the end the same results:"youre on latest versión".I Want To Know how I can get the Oreo update without unlocking the bootloader.I don't want to unlock the bootloader Because I read some Place online that if you unlock the Sony Xperia bootloader the cámera and pictures Are Not Going To work one hundred percent. anyone can Give Me some info for me to Help me get the Oreo update? I call Sony Company and They don't have a clue.then I call tmobile and they Say that they not even sell that Phone. I don't know what to do. Any info will be good for me.

It should be pretty much the same as it was for the last two devices. SIM unlock is needed to unlock the bootloader but it should be easy enough to unlock the bootloader with the standard fastboot command until a tool comes out that bypasses or breaks the SIM lock.
Op7 op7 pro bootloader unlock is the the same fastboot process and the new standard a/b process for custom rom flashing as op6 so no worries it's coming soon enough
It took a few seconds. (OEM Unlock tick, ADB reboot to fastboot, etc)

I assume you need the unlock.bin for tmo just like the 6t.
Self promotion is not allowed here on XDA.

Dedicated Night Mode for the Camera App (T-Mobile)

Any way to port this over to North American phones? I know some European countries already have this. It sucks that we have no update on an ETA for us to get this update so I'm wondering if this can be ported right now?

I appreciate that suggestion but I've never been happy with the performance with something that's not meant for our phone.

night mode does not do anything really. you already have it on your phone it just does it automatically. It is not like Night Sight where you will see a world difference.

Sure but it's still nice to have the option to use it manually when you want.

I'm sorry to say, but if it's a "Verizon" branded device, you can't unlock the bootloader since Big Red won't allow it.
You would have needed to purchase one directly from Google as is described in this thread. Sorry mate.
Good luck, there's almost no chance that it will happen but people continue trying:
