i got a rom called Linux 3.1
it's not the problem
the problem i need the Iphone landscape Mode
OK go back home and try again.
This is a forum about Samsung Galaxy S I9000. This device runs Android and not Linux and it's not an iPhone (which runs iOS). Can you explain?

i installed rom called linus like darky and so on i need a landscape mode that equal to iphone landscape mode @@!!!!!!!!!

i had no clue that the amount of thanks that you have gives you any right to be rude. i've gotten thanks for posting a +1. so i'm still not convinced dude. it didn't upset me one bit. just stating the fact of what XDA is. i will go cuddle mommy most likely right after i cuddle yours. oh and i didn't know for a fact that that was what he was asking for. but if you didn't notice i gave him what i could instead of an ignorant ridiculous comment. by the way. you are really cool man. i would give anything to have the thanks count like you do. it would just make me feel like i was on top of the would. i would go around in in public telling others of my thanks count and use it in everyday situations. in fact, i just got in an argument with a friend a second ago and i told him that my thanks count is way up there and that maybe he should get on xda and hit mine just for conversing with him. thanks. and now i'm going to hit yours just because you make me fell so much better about myself.

I have never seen the iphone style rotation animation done on any android phone running any kind of system. It is something that has to be built into the operating system, and it just is not built into android.
So, to answer your question very clearly - no, you cannot get the iphone rotation animation on android.
maybe you should see video about samsung galaxy Tab8.9 i'v seen this rotation and it's have been done in the system called Android in galaxy S II in the gallery
check out the videos on you tube and then you will see

Even adobe reader app has an animation for layout switching... it's strange so little interest by the community for such an important feature...

If the SDK is installed then find the ddms.bat,run it and it will start the Dalvik Debug Monitor,rather usefull it is too.

I liked your "How To" for building ASOP, It would be cool to see a similar for Porting ROMs. Porting ROMs is normally very easy. There is a great write up on free your android. A video may help people try their first port

Some devices came with S-off because they were part of the development batch, or something along those lines anyway
Hi everyone, some people could try to take a screenshot with software, but all the software you saw needs root, and you haven't got Root, then if you have Android 4 (Nexus 7 has) or higher you can do this simple trick
1) Prepare the scene you want to shot
2) Press and Hold (VOL -) and (POWER)
An animation will appears with a sound
The screenshot is in gallery
NOTE: This is my first post, then if I'm doing something wrong say me. And I'm from Argentina and I'm learning English so, sorry if I have Grammatical errors.

While helpful participation is always encouraged, this is unfortunately a repost of a repost, so I am forced to close this..
I have a Samsung Galazy Mini and i tried upgrading the firmware using Samsung Kies.
Something went wrong and now its bricked.
(By something i mean Kies kept giving me errors, and got sick of it and "tripped" over the usb cable pulling it out of my phone while i had the android construction worker, with downloading underneath, on the screen)
It is not detected by the PC, phone wont turn on, hard reset buttons wont work.
Phone was not rooted and odin was not used.
Also holding up + down volume + big rectangle home button + power button, does not work.
Phone is completely unresponsive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Try this : remove battery,press volume up + power + home button while battery is out,then while keeping these button pressed insert the battery and should turn on in download mode,you can flash a firmware. If not workimg you can try a USB JIG

You know, sometimes ARMv6 is better than ARMv7, because they're cheap.
BTW, i think the brick are caused by both you (OP) and Kies. You'll need to take it to SSC (Samsung Service Center).
