Hi out there,
This is all very new to me. I tried to upgrade the rom and radio on my XDA from O2's website, followed all the instructions as per the PDF files, started the upload to the XDA. It stopped downloading and asked me to do a soft restart and then stopped altogether with an error message on the PC (error 100: model ID error). The XDA now shows serial version 1 and when put into the cradle shows USB version 1. I restarted the computer and tried to re-initiate download but keep on getting the same error message. Please HELP as the wife told me to leave this alone, (Xmas present!).

try this one, with latest ROM version + camera fix + radio 1.04 (latest) and special thanks goes to pug. put it back at cradle, and run the update. hope this will help you. thanks

Hi,
Does anyone has a problem with this ROM Upgrade ? [I've seen it before that some people can't use their speakerphone after upgrading the ROM]
can I soft reset the device and return to the DEFAULT factory settting if something wrong happens ?
I really need some advice in upgrading this ROM as I'm only a newbie here in this forum.

hi i tryed to download that file and it would not download i need it to fix my o2 xda lli as an upgrade whiped it like the other guy i got the same thing and dont know how to fix it any help would be great thanks

somewhere on this forum is a link to the O2 Ireland site with the latest ROMs for download. i've posted it somewhere just cant remember where.

iMate AKU2 ROM Available?

I hear iMate have posted their ROM update for the K-JAM, but I can't get it cos I don't have a K-JAM!
Can someone verify, and put it up on the FTP site?

Er, you can download it from their http server which is A LOT quicker, find the links in the other thread on this update...

BTW: is it safe to install this new imate ROM on an unbranded Qtek 9100?? They are the same hardware afaik.

If thier site is slow then it will be slow for everyone else.
If your connection is slow then every site (even this one) will be slow for you.
Why is your time to d/l files more valuable than others'?
You could just as easy as anyone else download and post the files here therefore contributing to this great site.

Latest Qtek Rom Download

Hi,
I tried to register on the myqtek website but it rejected my imei saying it didnt get delivered by the brightpoint corporation, could someone who can access these roms please upload it somewhere? I would really like the latest rom.

I dont' know if I can load it on the ftp, but if I can I'll put it there for you (and everyone who need it).

I looked on the ftp and on the myqtek's page and if you want the newest WWE version, it is already on the ftp.

WIKI links are dead (some)

I'm a noob and just bought an Alpine (used) and I wanted to change my rom I really dunno the term but it's kinda reformat my pc to a fresh start.
Doing a hard reset already has my Alpine an obvious custom progs in it. So i wanted to have it really restored.
I tried looking at wiki but most significant links are dead. Can anybody help me?

Almost 2 years later and the links are still dead!!! Where can we find out how to upgrade/replace the ROM on our Alpines?? I was able to download the "Extended ROM" data from xda-developers ftp but I don't know what to do with it.

A year ago I update links to different ROM's .
Where you have problems with dead links?

It was the links explaining how to use a rom like the extended/extracted rom on the Alpine ftp page.
But it doesnt matter now because I managed to find a more recent official update that I was looking for, for a long time. It was on "xdadev.f1ip.net"
Im getting the Xda IIi ready to sell on Ebay so it's now on version 1.11.169 WWE. Radio is still version 1.00 though but I'd rather just leave it with the official update
