I have worked fairly extensively on creating my own custom dialers and I really like the look of them on my PPC6600 from Sprint. The one problem I am having is that the numberpad keys that I push seem to remain the light blue color of the original keypad. For instance I have a black button and I press 9 and it turns blue. I can't seem to find the file I need to change in order to change the look. Any help is greatly appreciated

First- I have been trying to find where to lacate and change the background of Comm Manager for Port. and Land. to either balck or use an existing one I have. I can't find it in the registry to change the color base hue.
Second- My Wizard has the slide button on the side to control the volume, vibrate, mute function. I liked that but can't find where or how I can remap my button (6 P to H) to launch that function. I have already added to button6 to registry.
Third- I want to change the initial #1 screen that comes up on boot to something else other than that annoying white AT&T screen, I already changed the others.
If anyone can help me with these I would greatly appreciate it.
I use Resco by the way.

Let me start by saying I tried searching for a solution to this, asked a few people, no avail, so I am posting here hoping somebody has done something along the lines of what I am trying to do. I am having a little trouble with my jog tabs on my lock screen, the left one to be exact. Normally text pops up with "Unlock" or "Answer" when a call is coming in. Since changing my animation to the Bounce Animation found HERE the text has stopped showing. The jog bar does change to the correct color when sliding but no text. I looked through a whole Vanilla Rom of CM6.1 to look for a png that has the text but no luck. My guess it is controlled by XML, any idea on where the correct XML is that would need editing, and how?
Thanks in advance
Hey guys i have a quick question about the black gingerbread menu, when you click the menu button. I was able to make it black but the writing is black to so u cannot see it, how would i go about changing the font colour of the menu to white?
Thanks !
also need to know this,
sneaky workaround, works mostly is to "swipe" or "slide" your finger across a button to highlight and you can see the text.
you need to edit the xml files within the the framework AFAIK. Lost.prophet and ximmox solved the issue for the GSM Hero.

The answer is in that thread somewhere.... or just ask one of them how they did it.
Sorry for the long post.
Aright so here is the deal. We are making MattedGreens into an apk for theme chooser. We have great looking buttons. But for some reason, every time I change the buttons out, root explorer stops writing on them. At first I though It was because they were just to dark. So I switched it up. No luck. Then I figured I would try a plain white button. Again, only root explorer wont display text on them. I have tried making the 9patch huge, and also tiny. Nothing works. I then tried using the stock buttons. Which work normally, but as soon as I put them in my apk and install, root explorer wont display text on them. The specific buttons are the mount r/o(r/w) and when you click menu>>multiselect. So I figured I would pull Androdian and try those buttons. No luck still.
Does anyone have any ideas? Why it works for every other theme, and for stock, but not when packed in my theme? This is really frustrating me. Any suggestions are appreciated
I should also add this happens to the send button in mms as well. But the 9patch is the exact same!
Is there a way to keep the back and home buttons illuminated?
I've noticed sometimes in the dark they are lit up, but not always.
It would be nice not to have to grope around to find them.
HTC One AT&T stock.
I have been searching for a way to get this as well and have had no luck. I did come across an app with controls for changing the brightness of the back and home button lights so I figure it should be too hard for someone to make.
If anyone would like to do so, it would be greatly appreciated.
I've actually been asking around for this as well! I assume it would be a simple build.prop modification, but i'm no good in the build.prop and would probably mess somthing up if i tried it on my own. Would need someone to tell me what exactly to change.
I'm sure someone could write a quick script or an easy app. Just need to find someone willing, lol.
Try adding
ro.mot.buttonlight.timeout=0
in build.prop. Remember backup!
