These are old movies that are no longer copyrighted, so it's legal to download them. Most of them are available in pocket pc-ready versions (320x240 or 640x480).
There are some insanely funny, black & white horror B-movies; a lot of old cartoons too (Popeye!!); some Buster Keaton comedies; and you should definitely download Metropolis and Nosferatu.
ok as far as pocket pc games u can use the xda-developers search and type free pocket pc games or type free pocket mario games metriod retro man challege games and a list will show also for a list of different wed sites with many apps type pocket pc ultimate list of games and apps or mail me and I try to send u attachments peace out

Hi. When downloading movies etc I want to transfer them directly onto my Kaiser. On download page there are movies with different file extensions. These files are huge so to save time which extension will work on my Kaiser with Windows Media Player or do you think that Real Player is better.
Any advice?
You need to find a software that changes these movies into compatible video formats and sizable (for mobile devices) movies.
A few good ones im using are :
"Any Video Converter" (yes thats whats its called) [amazing software]
"SPB Mobile DVD"
Alternativley, try this thread
Thanks all for great replies. I am using " Pocket DVD Wizard " I purchased but then some movies I download are not compatible. I will read through the threads supplied. Thanks again
so i have tons of vids i wanna put on my wing but idk what type of format my stock wing can play..i have 2 vids that r mp4 that play fine....but when i try 2 put some more they run super slow or i get no image only sound.....any 1 know what other media players are available for the wing???
I would use tcpmp it's freeware and in my opinion by far the best and fastest video player if you just want to watch a movie...just google it and you'll find it
tcpmp is like VLC for the ppc (LOTS OF ANTONYMS)
it plays everything
Listen to the two guys above... The problem with lots of HTC phones is the lack of drivers. They skimped. Fortunately we have the freeware community.
You should also check out the commercial version of TCPMP, Core Player. I used to love TCPMP and never wanted to switch to Core until they rolled out the new ones.
core player is 20 € though. Thats a bit steep !
I did a search and can't find any threads on Netflix. I saw an ad on TV that they now offer on line streaming of movies...has anyone tried this on a tilt? For $4.99 that seems like a better deal than buying movies and downloading them on to the SD?
I watch streaming movies on my laptop using my Tilt as the modem, but I don't think there's a way to get it to work on a Windows Mobile device directly as you have to install a small activex app on your actual PC (it intregrates into windows media player) and then you watch streaming movies that way.
PS there is a way to download movies from your PC, remove the DRM from them, and then convert them to play on your Tilt. I won't go into that here, but if you google you will find info on how to do that.
That's too bad...I'm surprised somebody hasn't figured out a way to do it yet as that would be pretty popular.
Does anyone know if the WM Windows Media Player plays DRM encrytped files?
So when I record videos on my Tilt it records in mp4 format. How can I convert them to something Windows Media Player can play on a pc (or an Xbox 360 can play on the tv)?
In order to play them on my pc I just rename the file from "video.mp4" to "video.3gp". It gives me a warning message that the file may become unstable or might not play, but I have not had a problem yet. Also I use quicktime to play the file on my pc after I have renamed it to 3gp format, WMP still won't play it. Quicktime wouldn't play it in mp4 format, but will if its named 3gp. Be sure to keep a backup of the file in the original mp4 format, just in case, it never hurts to have a copy of the original. If your stuck with just WMP then I am sorry, I have no clue.
Yeah, the Xbox 360 uses WMP, so Quicktime isn't an option for me.
I am trying to stream something from my PC to my Xbox 360 (and displayed on my tv).
I would think that since I am using Microsoft Windows Mobile to record the video that it would be compatible with a Microsoft Xbox 360. But then again, we all know how great the Microsoft MSN service works in Microsoft Outlook, so I guess this isn't surprising.
They really need to get it together at Microsoft. If they could make their left hand work with their right hand they would have a pretty nice body. But as is they don't have a body, they have a bunch of body parts that aren't connected.
It's ridiculous to me that a top of the line PDA phone running a Microsoft OS can record pretty decent quality videos, but can't play them on Microsoft's flagship multi media device- the Xbox 360, and can't even play them on Microsoft's own Windows Media Player.
/rant. Hopefully somoene knows a workaround...
I think if you go to Micro-soft web site , then to down loads, you can get a add-on that will do what you are looking to do
I look around and see if I can find a link for you..
you could do a google search for the MP4 codec that's the codec I use most often on the Microsoft Zune its accually a higher quality of video I think. Also if your using windows vista theres a free codec package out there that has just about every codec you could ever want when I get home i'll post you some links
The reason it wont play on the Xbox 360 is because it uses an audio codec that the Xbox dosent suport according to the software I got it says the audio codec our phones record in is "samr: ARM Narrowband"

How do I see the simulation on the link on my Samsung galaxy note http://vam.anest.ufl.edu/simulations/bpposition.html
I can view the simulation on my laptop but not on my note. I can play flash files but not this simulation. I tried downloading swf player but makes no difference. What player or browser do I need to download to see such simulationa on my note.
Any pointers is much appreciated. Even better if I can download and play such simulations on my note.
the simulation file you are looking for is
http://vam.anest.ufl.edu/simulations/bpposition.dcr
it's a shockwave file that plays with shockwave player from macromedia or adobe now. I don't think any current android browser or even app support the ability to play that type file. And upto my knowledge there is no way to convert it to swf even they are all from macromedia. so ya... you kinda out of luck here wit this as of right now.
solution... maybe remote desktop to your computer to play it lol..... but that's ghetto XD
Loads of simulations online and on powerpoint slides are made with shock wave, so I can't play it with my phone presently.hope some player plus browser can do that soon.
Thanks and have a nice day
