I bougth a Qtek9090 in Germany and would like to know if i can upgrade or downgrade so that i get DANISH on the phone, or is it only possible to get ENGLISH...

you cn upgrade to any rom that is on the ftp, all roms marked WWE are english language. u will need to use the upgrade_noid.exe (i think its called.) to bypass the country id. thus you will be able to upgrade and downgrade to your pleasure.
for upgradeing there are instructions on the wiki, all inf you need etc.

I want to know how to change a T-mobile MDAIII from German version to English version, actually i many meesage over forum, but i want to know how can i extrace a existing German version rom from MDAIII to a file for backup - just in case it got any problem during flash ROM error. then is that just follow your instruction to download a English rom, then flash to MDAIII?
what tool and how to do it?

First of all I gotta say sorry cause Im a complete noob at this :-(
My problem is that im in Switzerland and just bought the SPV M3000 (Wizard) and its in German. I want to upgrade it to English as my German is ok but not that good
I also searched before I posetd and to be honest didnt find what I was looking for.
Anyway here is what Im running:
Model = WIZA200
OS = Windows Mobile 5.1.70
ROM VER = 1.3.1.5 DEU
ExtROM VER = 1.3.1.106
Im looking to update it to a better stable ROM ver that is in English. Could someone please provide me with the link and also let me know what I need to do ( flashing the ROM or/and unlock the CID?).
Any help would be really appreciated.

I managed to Um-simlock it with Lokiwiz
But i still need some help with finding an English ROM.......please, please
My advice:
First use aWizard to make an complete update of your default rom(s).
Then install CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.rar
I think this is the most relaxed ROM for now, it is the easiest to upgrade to and makes it possible to restore your default rom.
This instead of RUU_Prodigy_1060701 which destroyed my pre-splash screen, which I can't restore and was less stable in my opinion.
All apps and ROMs are located at the ftp.

Okay I found the FTP site but I cant find this ROM...can anyone tell me where it is?
Great...eventually found the ROM...took me ages to find it though and get it burned.
Anyway my last request is for the keyboard
I could live with it not being a QWERTY pad as its still german but it would be nice to be able to use as the origional layout so that I dont have to guess on the charachters all the time.
Anyhow Im wondering if anyone knows of a patch that could be added to make the keyboard german on a WWE OS.

I eventually spent the same amount of time looking
Took me ages to find the thing...anyway Ive eventually solved the issue with my keyboard.
I used AEKmap and i downloaded a layout from their website...unfortunately it didnt work properly as the keys were mapped wrongly (either that or the layout is different from country to country).
Anyway I built my own so if anyone needs a keyboard layout for the Swiss German version of the SPV M3000 then please just PM me.

I just met with my qtek 9100, its a present from a dutch friend of mine. But unfortunately I am not dutch nor speak the language. So I want to change the language to English.
I read few topics here and dowloaded 2 different rom for qtek. When I try to upload the rom with
RUU_Prodigy_2170702_21707102_20710_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe,
the program says;
"invalid vender id"
I read the rom update utility readme file and the explanation for this error was that the update utility is wrong type. So I downloaded older version rom update utility,
Qtek_9100_RUU_Prodigy_10107105_Qtek_WWE_ship.exe,
and the same problem came up again.
So, if any of you that know how to change the language of qtek 9100, will you please spend few time to help me and prepare a "how to do" for me, step by step?

Hello all I am American living in Holland and just brought a qtek 9100 that is in Dutch. i read dutch well but would like to change the programs to english. I read from the user Casablanca's posts that i could use the "lokiwiz" program. Where can i aquire this program and is there step by step directions on how to install it on my QTEK? Any and all assistance is appreciated.

Just search the forum and you be able to find the lokwiz, that's a program used to CID unlock the phone (only G3 models).
How to know if you have a G3 or G4?
G4 ipl/spl ends with .0001

As I said earlyer my Qtek was CID locked and had RUU_Prodigy_2170701_21707103_20710_QTEK_SVE_Ship.exe
I`ve followed Isidoro`s tutorial for ROM `cooking` and manged to update only OS and Extended Rom parts from RUU_Prodigy_2170702_21707102_20710_QTEK_WWE_Ship.exe.
Ewerything went OK, I didn`t get any error msgs.
My Qtek9100 has G3 version of ROM , IPL and SPL are 2.17.
Radio ROM stayed as it was 02.07.10, I didn`t change splash screen.
After all, I ended up with fully functional device with English language that I understand. Now, I can go further to SW install, tweaks, etc.

when I reading a topic name, I think you was change the Language if OS by any tweak, but you just flash different ROM like thousands people here :lol:
You`re probably right but, I spent 10 days of intensive search for solution of my problem, and this is the only thing that I understood compleetly as it was explained excelent, and once again I want to thank "risidoro" for his post.

I have bought a T-Mobile MDA VARIO (also known as Wizard/qtek9100/etc..). The language is Dutch and I like to change it to English. I have talked to Tomobile people and they said that it can not be done officially but suggested me to either learn dutch or just download some software from net and upgrade the ROM. I have tried with the official WWE ROM availabel at Tmobile USA website but they didnt installed due to the language error.
If any one of you can help me in this regards..

I have tried to upgrade to WWE 2.26 ROM but it is not installing and giving error of INVALID VENDOR ID.. it will be nice if some 1 can help me
